"Well I decided to start this dio before I head into surgery on Wednesday so the hard part is done as i won't be able to move around to much for the first few days (don't worry just getting my ankle done again 6th time lucky. Anyway the vaporator is 85% complete I just need to add a few more little pieces, the main body is done from plumbers materials and the bits and pieces on it so far are parts from 1/35 and 1/72 scale tanks, hasbro part and plasti card." Great project Ron and we wish you luck on your surgery!

I had a lot of fun creating him, because I never did something like this....creating scars with blood showing underneath.
Recipe:
*GI Dreadnought figure
*Some soft goods
*Aves apoxie for shoulder pad, boot straps, plates on skirt, and all over body and head to create scars
*Shoulder piece is attached via mini magnet, so I can remove it and put it back on pretty easily. I did it so that he had full mobility of the arm.
*Primed black with multiple layers of dry painting to get a dead skin look (and various red paints for blood)
*Used costume jewelry from Michaels for the bolts
* I didn't have any spare ligthsabers, so I made one from styrene tubes."

"When I saw HALCION's Probe Droid I knew that I had to give one a go and again thanks for the inspiration mate. The MK-V's were made 20yrs ago but are still used in harsher climate planets such as Tatooine as they are very tough and could adapt very quicly to almost any environment. Probe Droid MK-V - is a mixer of an old webcam, tooth pick lid, revoltech joints, plasti card tube, plasti card strips, 1/6 scale parts,1/35 scale parts and 1/72 scale parts, Hasbro parts and Star Trek model parts." What can I say other than I wish this was mass produced.

"Well the probe droid is almost complete but this is it for the night, I have done the painting which is a base of German Grey then a wash of Matt black and then I dry brushed it Medium Grey. I have started the weathering by using Gun Metal and then Mithril Silver and then Red brown pastels." This is just looking fantastic to me!

"In this clip from the Star Wars Rebels episode “Gathering Forces,” Ezra and Kanan encounter a colony fyrnocks. The Padawan, blocked by a fear he will not confront, struggles to utilize the power of the Force.
With the Inquisitor hot on the Ghost’s tail, Kanan and Ezra split off in the Phantom to draw him away from the Imperial deserter, Tseebo. Master and apprentice lure the Imperials to the abandoned asteroid base and its carnivorous creatures, only to be overwhelmed by the Inquisitor’s onslaught. When the Inquisitor appears unstoppable, Ezra comes precariously close to the dark side of the Force.

"Well I started on a probebot and thanks to HALCION for the inspiration when I saw his probebot I knew I had to give one a twirl (cheers mate). This is going to be for a large Sandtrooper dio I'm doing and still needs some wires and parts added. This was made using an old webcam camera, toothpick lid, lego parts, 1/6 scale parts, 1/35 scale parts, 1/72 scale parts, plastic tubing, plasti card sheets, Hasbro SW parts and Revoltech joints." "Hey guys, its been awhile since I've put any work in to Plagueis. The left leg really put me to the test and required a effective break. Which helped out a lot. I've done more on the right foot, and I did it in half the time than i had with left. I did end up pulling of the trim on the left shin guard and flaring the bottom." "The Kaiju we will be discussing now was given the informal subspecies name "Blindman" as this branch of Kaiju have no visible eyes yet still manage to hunt as effectively as their normally sighted brethren. Barrlow theorized that they "see" via some form of "psychic" sense organ located in the fleshy front portion of their eyeless heads. These Kaiju also posess incredibly hard, vibroblade sharp nails and teeth that can puncture durosteel with ease." Trust me folks that is just part of the great back story he created for this new custom.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a box on my front porch when I got home yesterday and saw that Hasbro had shipped me a sampling of some of their REBELS Items. "Yes, I know the lightsaber is huge but I have a feeling so is the new villain, I could easily see him locking sabers with a Jedi & pulling the Anakin "no hands Dooku" maneuver with those side saber edges. These are completely re-jointed far beyond the average 3" figure. The cloak is hand made and has a painted emblem on the back , all were given paint and wash apps, but the real smiles come from the newly added joints to give these figures unlimited POA!" "So I was in Target this afternoon and, while scanning the stacks for that most holiest of all grails, the DCU Multiverse Christopher Reeve Superman (hey, a guy can dream,) I spotted a new line of Nintendo toys, seemingly released to coincide with the new Smash Bros game! Wario, Yoshi, Mario, and Link were all on the pegs. Well, the first three were, but Link had fallen down behind a stack of stuff and I almost entirely missed him! Here's my (literal) breakdown of the figure: (Or would that be a figurative figure breakdown?) He's got 13 whopping points of articulation, and his breakdown points are all comfortably tight, while his semi-soft to soft plastic body allows him to be taken apart without fear of ripping or breaking anything." Now he states this figure isn't perfect, but he had me at 13 points of articulation!

"Let sleeping toads lie. This little guy was a fun sculpt initially he was made as a background character for my sandtrooper diorama. Not bad for my first sculpt as an adult. I had to use my booger pickers since my tools still aren't here. I think its the beginning of a long list of custom creatures." "Like most Marvel Cinematic Universe fans, I've been waiting ages for them to finally reveal that they are making a Black Panther movie. After the casting a few weeks ago of Chadwick Boseman in the role and some concept art that was shown, I decided to take a stab at him to add to the other Avengers/MCU figures I've made. The suit is extremely complex, so I tried to get it as accurate as I could, but as usual, have taken a little artistic license here and there." It looks pretty awesome to me!

I figure this might be old news, but I would be remiss if I didn't do showcase that we saw the official word this week on the new title for Episode VII. Of course I didn't know the force was asleep, but this is definitely something to make us all a bit more curious as the Celebration VII and the new film's premier edges ever closer. Here is his "HEAVY WEP HOTH TROOPER" that he is doing in six inch scale. I must say his Hoth Line Up is starting to become the thing of legend. Staying true to the six inch scale I do believe the sky is the limit for this customizer. Check back each day as we normally get multiple updates throughout the day and each one is a jaw dropper!

"So, making progress on my 1:18 scale predator based off of my desire to make one a little more mobile than the ReAction 1:18 scale figure. "I couldn't sleep last night so I had the idea to make a Worrt the toad that sits outside of Jabba's Palace. He was always one of my favorite creatures from star wars. I built most of his front side still need to work on the back. Once he's cured I'll use my woodglue technique to add the texture and skin." I think this is a really cool project. Wouldn't it be cool to get a Jabba's Monastery and have one of these!

That is the name for his new Hoth Speeder fashioned after an Episode 7 Speeder Image we just might see on the big screen around next year this time. Well its not really a trap, but imagine how many times you can say that when you pick up the new Gentle Giant Kenner Jumbo Admiral Ackbar. Its one of the newest Jumbos out there and just looks spot on to me.

He sure is making great use of his time while waiting on materials to finish off his 6 inch AT-AT! This great speeder is an incarnation of a speeder we just might be seeing for real in Episode 7. All I can say is click on through to his custom vehicle thread and take a look at this from multiple angles and tell me its not one of the coolest speeders you have ever seen!

"I was doing another scout and speeder dio but decided to put it aside when I was looking at the Mytho Obi Wan and I really liked the outfit and decided to do a dio in that style. This dio will be about 10-12 yrs after ROTS and will depict Obi Wan just after he has taken out a unit of Sandtroopers as they were getting to close to the LARS Homestead." Well I think that is just a rad idea and I can really see the potential here.

"I built a 3-3/4" Aqua Trooper way back in 2007 and decided to build another Aqua Trooper but this time in 6" scale. Aqua Trooper is a Hasbro Black Series figure and is just the scout redone by putting him in a pose I liked and then super gluing the joints and then I puttied up the joints, once the putty had dried I the covered the cloth areas in tissue paper. I then added flippers/air tanks and hoses from a 6" Madelman Scuba Diver." Talk about another fantastic use for the six inch Scout Trooper!

"Here is a Jedi Master CELESTE MORNE custom figure. She is seen in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic comics. Her soft goods are made from real leather that I painted. I sculpted her head and hair too." She looks pretty awesome to me.

"This is a WW2 inspired version of the Battle of Endor. The walker is an AMT AT-ST with some ww2 parts and decals. The bunker is modeled after a German blockhouse type bunker. The figures are star wars miniatures that I customized with 1/48 parts." Trust me folks you will enjoy that click.

Sorry, I couldn't resist punning this a bit, but his latest custom update is downright gorgeous. "Well one of the helmets I was working was for my female Merc/Security Officer Capt Ryanne Furíje, the body is based on Shae Visla, the head is from a Slave Leia, extra armor and pouches from some clone troopers and knife, holsters and blasters pistols custom made."

"This model is a Revell AT-AT that was inspired by a combination Tiger tank, Geustov rail gun and an armored train. It has yet to be comleated I hope to look it in the eye again and get it finished. This was extremely time consuming. Every panel line was grinded and re-scribed. I added a metric crap ton of parts." He says this is not finished, but the work in progress pictures are just fantastic!

"Yes they are getting older but they are still a dynamic duo. I made Chewy a bit thicker & with the rumored bionic arm & Han a lil leaner with the cowboy style trench coat & side blasters." I could definitely see them looking something like that for the future.
