And...here....we....go......Darth Sion (from Knights of the Old Republic):

I had a lot of fun creating him, because I never did something like this....creating scars with blood showing underneath.

Recipe:
*GI Dreadnought figure
*Some soft goods
*Aves apoxie for shoulder pad, boot straps, plates on skirt, and all over body and head to create scars
*Shoulder piece is attached via mini magnet, so I can remove it and put it back on pretty easily.  I did it so that he had full mobility of the arm.
*Primed black with multiple layers of dry painting to get a dead skin look (and various red paints for blood)
*Used costume jewelry from Michaels for the bolts
 * I didn't have any spare ligthsabers, so I made one from styrene tubes.

Anyway, hope you enjoy:

You've perfectly captured the Frankenstein's Monster look of Scion. He was always one of the scariest villains in the Star Wars universe to me because his will was just so powerful that he refused to lay down and die, even after his body had been pushed so far past its breaking point again and again and again.
I have altered the action figure. Pray I don't alter it further.

Bronxstalker's custom junk
« Reply #125 on: December 02, 2014, 08:36:46 AM »
Ok, wasn't too sure exactly where to put this (figures or vehicles).

Anyway, I put this together using junk around the house (fruit can, old gift cards, bottle tops, etc).  This was veryyyyyyy inspired by one made by Valero in his line of Valerobots, so obviously, his is much better than mine.  I really like what he's put out, you guys should check him out.

Anyway, here goes my version of a mobile turret that is similar to his (again, his is better).

Strange, the above post didn't go where I thought I put it in.

How do I delete or move to my other thread?

Looks cool. Has a ww2 walker look to it. I always like scratch built projects if you can utilize junk to make something cool that's awesome.

I think it's very cool.
Hey, there's a cool theme for a challenge.
Build vehicles or figures using ONLY re-purposed junk.  No parts casted by a toy company allowed.

Really cool looking re-purposed junk custom you got there! If we look around at the different shapes of ordinary everyday items it is amazing what they can be turned into. Great job!

Still not as good as Stronox, but getting better :)

Since I sold my original yellow mando (on page 1), I wanted another yellow one.  This time, I decided to not make the yellow the primary color.  Hope you all enjoy.
