Nice, I knew right away who this was. I hope you make more from this movie. I really liked it. Off to share.

For all practical purposes I'm calling Kruger done. Time to start some Wikas Van De Merwe customs

I initially felt bad because I didn't go movie accurate but I think I would have gone nuts if I tried. Plus, the only other Kruger figure, custom or otherwise, I was able to find wasn't screen accurate and that was a 12 inch figure so I felt less bad about it. Hah

So, immediately started Wikus works. I plan on doing at least the different versions of Wikus but I started with the transformation version. I was almost happy to call this guy done but now that I look at his picks I need to redo the face. The "stubble" looks terrible. Need to find a better way to do it

I really, really enjoyed the movie. District 13 I believe it was called. I keep hoping the sequel comes out soon with that one alien returning to rescue Wikus and perhaps take a bit of retaliation out on those responsible for the living conditions of our aliens. Great WIP, back to the front page.

District 13 will probably be the sequel haha. This movie was District 9. I wonder if they will ever do a sequel. Hmmm.
That said, I repainted the face and got the thumbs up from Chad that the new stubble is better. Will post it when I get home

Shawn, you're getting your movies mixed up. Assault on Precinct 13.....  ;D

Nice work on Kruger, JPB. Wikus is shaping up as well. As for the stubble, try a subtle wash mix of grey/skin tone.

It's been a while since I've posted anything...simply bc it's been a while since I've felt motivated to make anything. Seeing these dinky ReAction figures motivated me though. Once I saw a Predator figure with the trademarked 5 points of articulation I knew I needed to make a 1:18 scale that could actually move. Here's the current state of the figure

I have to share your sentiment in regards to the Reaction figure line. I was really excited until I saw they were gonna issue them with horrible articulation. For the price you ought to be able to get an action figure that actually moves.

Back on the front page.

Thanks. I actually did post up the face repaint, but Wikas did receive a much better looking stubble paint job

Big fan of the ww2 stormie. I've been wanting to find a 3.75 scale helmet. Really cool customs.
