Have I still not commented on the finished figure? Sorry, buddy I thought I did.
The paint scheme looks really nice - very accurate to the reference image! Her hair looks super awesome, so much respect for your sculpting skills! I wouldn't bother so much with the time it took you to finish her. The result speaks for itself. Her helmet reminds me a little of a Power Rangers design, but I think she fits perfectly into the Star Wars universe!

Overall a great sculpting project! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Wanted to share my latest custom:
Mandalore the Ultimate

This custom was a lot of fun, it's a gift to a family member, who's a huge Mandalorian enthusiast.





Mandalore with a beskar spear, which he can be seen wielding while riding a Basilisk in Master Gnost Dural's journals.

Mandalore the Ultimate - you did him justice. Your custom looks absolutely splendid!! Well, it's made by CloneTroopr duh! You must be proud! Love the soft goods, the color of the fabrics and especially the golden paint! Good choice of parts as well, I'm sure your family member is very happy with this one!

Bit by the customizing bug, back with another!

I've recently been fascinated by the Legacy era of the old expanded universe stories and have started to fill out my collection with figures from those elusive comic packs.

Instead of getting the official Darth Talon figure however, I decided to make Darth Talon in Battle Armor! Obviously she never wears this in the comics, but my custom has design similarities to several images:

and the armor of her colleague Darth Nihl:



And here she is!







As Darth Talon's lekku sit much wider apart than Aayla's (base figure), I had to get a little creative to prop the head tails further.
The tattoos were a lot of fun to add as well!

As a bonus, I just received Legacy's Imperial Knight Sigel Dare in the mail, and her eyes really freaked me out.

Man, I have never seen her in so many different variations. Nice.

I know everyone likes her in her skimpy outfit, but this seems so much more realistic to go into battle with.
