"Hi All,
Space Wolves - Grey Hunter 7.5" scale.
Recipe.
Figure - is from Mcfarlane and was originally an Ultramarine and I repainted and weathered him using Vallejo and GW paints and the images on the shoulder pads and right knee pad were hand drawn on using a led pencil.
The fur is fake fur repainted brown and then lightly dry brushed with medium grey and the light grey, the purity seals are done using high density foam and an old hanky and the rune stones and teeth were made using high density foam.
Base - was from an old 1:12 dewback resin kit and I just painted and weathered it and the snow was done by using watered down spakfilla.

"Final pictures of G.I.JOE Armoury commission are now live on my website
Painting is underway in the Ark, I've mixed up a bright orange with I am applying two coats because the first coat is too dark. Teletraan and the consoles are also having their second coat added, the first coat I used a new air brush paint which would be fine to use as a second coat but not a first. The paint was too thin for the foam.
When this dries, a second coat will be applied to the back wall and floor and then again to the consoles and Teletraan."
It is all looking great.

"I've completed the engraving on the foam consoles, made a couple of wall mounted monitors and a small Soundwave who can sit on top of the consoles and Teletraan.
The next step is to add some plastic card buttons before I give this all a black undercoat."

"I've made a second smaller but higher console to be placed the other side to Teletraan. The hot glue melted some of the foam which I have filled using liquid Green Stuff, when it's dry I'll sand it down and start adding detail to them both.
I'm just wondering which way round they should go?"

"Been a while friends!
Here is my latest Nevarro diorama that also works as a wallmount
The base was a spare box that i coated in resin, then sprinkled dirt over the surfaces. I then coated a layer of black spray paint, then another layer of khaki.
I then glued the 3D printed base I made from before with hot glue, sprinkled more dirt in between the seams, then sprayed some more khaki spray paint for a weathering effect on the door/walls themselves and to glue all the loose dirt together!
Hope you all like it!"

"The walls have been etched and applied magnetic tape to walls, I’ve done this incase I want to extend diorama by adding another floor piece and back wall.
The next phase is to make the consoles to sit either side of Teletraan."

"Weekend waitress rebuild; the Leia head was just too 'Leia'. (Previous version in the last pic.) Hardest part was replacing the neck-ball-joint to fit this head (which was pretty easy)."

"I finished painting this piece today. Starting with the walls and floor by using a sponge I dabbed a light brown over the walls and floor. When it dried I then dabbed a light grey over floor.
Originally the idea was to have two gun cabinets on either wall but after making the first two, the idea changed a little."

"Thank you all for your great comments. I've just been lurking instead of working. Been busy doing reality stuff. I had some time to work on a fodder figure. Basically it's Chiana from Farscape, but I figured it was a cool design and would work in my Star Wars world. I'm going to call her an Arkanian hybrid, named Zima."
He also has one interesting looking Ewok in the mix for his Ewok Holiday the Wednesday before Thanksgiving!

"Droid upgrade! Some dirty wash, some drybrush highlights, and some new accessories.
I drilled into the bottom of a couple cups to make them fit the carrier drink posts, and added some paint to add drink colors, and painted the drink tray."

Pretty bummed about it 'cause I'm missing the annual Veteran's Day mountain bike trip with Army buddies from Iraq days. "While watching classic G1 Transformers cartoons, I found myself tinkering with some foam and before I realised it was taking shape into Teletraan 1.
Using layers of 20 mm thick foam to create the console and monitor, I have sanded down the foam to achieve the angles that make up this computer. The basic shape is done but still a fair way to go!"
Now this brings back some good memories. Very nice. He also has an update on his JOE Armoury Dio too.

Star Wars: The Black Series The Mandalorian 1:1 Scale Wearable Helmet (Electronic)
His body is shielded in beskar armor, his face hidden behind a T-visored mask, and his past is wrapped in mystery.
This screen-inspired reproduction Mandalorian helmet features a removable tactical light, as well as dual red interior lights that can be activated while the helmet is upside-down. Also features interior padding and an adjustable fit."

Yesterday as my birthday as a matter of fact and Hasbro helped me celebrate properly with their awesome Mando Mondays Box. It was just chock full of great Mandalorian items. I must say those TVC Collection Mandalorian Figures are just fantastic. I loved seeing the silver foils on the cards again.
I just really want to thank Hasbro and the folks responsible for sending me this free box of stuff. I felt like it was Christmas!

"Hi All,
GI Joe Adventure Team, Spacewalk Mystery 1:12 scale.
Recipe.
Astronaut - The astronaut comes with a space capsule but I decided to make the figure first.
The body and boots are from Damntoys the head is from Hasbro's Death Star trooper BS 6". The pants are from Coomodel, top is from a Mezco Sulu figure, gloves are from a V Hasbro Scouttrooper BS 6".
The helmet is from a Tamiya 1:12 motorbike rider and the equipment has been scratch built using plastic card, lego, model tank parts and elastic.
Capsule - was made using plastic pot plant holders, cardboard, plastic card. The interior instruments were done using greeblies from the spare parts box and the engine is parts of a UFO kit from Pegasus Models and the thrusters are plastic stool caps that go on the bottom of the legs so they don't scratch the floor.
Note - I made a mistake with the flag as it should have been put on with the bottom of the flag facing the engine/thruster section.
Base - is from a Star Wars Dewback resin kit which I picked up from Stanarts a few years ago.

"I've finished off marking the tile work on the floor. Now it is time to start making the gun cabinets. I'm making two out of bolsa wood, standing at 7" tall, with shelves in to hold 4 horizontal placed guns."

Base was a Boba Fett with a Reed Richards head with sculpted hair
Electric tape for straps and belts. Boots/gators also made with elecetric tape
Sculpted pants and pockets
Removeable rocket with firing FX and moveable rangefinder
Hope you all like it!"

"Cobb Vanth, "The Marshal." 6" black series scale.
This one took some work, and while it's not 100% screen accurate (and I may have over-done the weathering), I'm happy with how it turned out.
Legs and arms are from a Poe Dameron figure. Torso and neck is Han Solo. The scrawny thin torso and long neck worked perfectly for this figure."

"I finally got around to customizing my Predator figure in 1:18 scale the way I want. Very rarely do we see a Yautja hunter with duel wrist blades. So I said, why not! I also made the custom hunting spear inspired by my favorite Yautja hunter, Ahab."
I like the double wrist blades!

"I decided to paint this using metallic airbrush paints. I used gunmetal grey to base coat the wall and artic blue for the floor. The wall I've used a combination of artic blue for the pelmet and the central vent. Steel for the "frame" of the wall and then using a dark blue wash with in the crevasses of the wall to pick out the highlights.
The edges of the floor I've painted using an acrylic metallic blue paint. When this is dry I will use a silver paint to pick out the edges of the wall."

"I've spent this afternoon marking out the brickwork in pencil. After completing the work I then go back over the bricks with pottery tool followed by cutting out a door in the middle of back wall."

"Such a busy week, now its Sunday its time to relax! With all the pieces glued into place, it's time to give it a little detail. Using a pencil to make the marks and pottery tools to give them depth. Before going any further with the sides, I need to sand the down and add detail.
Once this painted it will also work with Transformers."
It is sure taking shape nicely!
