Masterful, Ron! Somehow I missed the croc one, but its great. The space walk is amazing. You are doing a great job capturing the feel of these toys, its both impressive and nostalgic.

Thanks so much buddy and yeah I didn't have any of these when I was a kid so it has been fun making them and sorry for the late reply.

Hi All,

Space Wolves - Grey Hunter 7.5" scale.

Recipe.

Figure - is from Mcfarlane and was originally an Ultramarine and I repainted and weathered him using Vallejo and GW paints and the images on the shoulder pads and right knee pad were hand drawn on using a led pencil.

The fur is fake fur repainted brown and then lightly dry brushed with medium grey and the light grey, the purity seals are done using high density foam and an old hanky and the rune stones and teeth were made using high density foam.

Base - was from an old 1:12 dewback resin kit and I just painted and weathered it and the snow was done by using watered down spakfilla.

Ron, this looks real to me. Man I wish they did some movies with these guys.

Off to the front pages and I will try to come up with some better comments.

Thanks heaps Shawn and these are awesome figures to customize and here is a link to a Space Marine movie that was done back in 2015 I think it was made and I enjoyed watching it but it just lacked something IMHO.

And here is a link for fan made short films and some of these are great.

Space Wolves!!! Awesome. This is a great custom, Ron. My son (who plays the game and paints the figures) thinks your modification is outstanding. So you get four thumbs up from the Starchaser household. I really like how you added the fur. Now all you need is a Thunder Wolf to go with it:)

Thanks so much buddy and please let your son I said thank you and I'm actually looking a wolf bigger enough to be a Thunder wolf but at the moment no luck. Also let your son know that I'm doing a Space wolves Heavy Bolter figure and then a Space Wolves Veteran.

Hi All,

Space Wolves - Long Fang with Heavy Bolter.

Recipe - The figure is from Mcfarlane which was repainted and the back pack was redone using plastic card as was the heavy bolter, I also used a piece of the connection that the back pack slots into to make the bolters hand grip and the magazine drum was made using a soft drink lid and plastic card.

The fur is fake fur which I gave several washes of brown to and the purity seals were made using high density foam and an old hanky, the teeth were done using high density foam and the I used O-rings to attach them.

The symbols on the shoulder armour and left knee were drawn on with a pencil then painted and the power cords were done using electrical cord.

Base - the base is the same one I used for the Grey Hunter marine.
