Absolutely fantastic.
Needless to say that this is the most accurate, detailed and best Falcon cockpit replica I've ever seen.
Excellent work.

Working on the color for the lights on the panels.  I have one panel that still need switches.  Any guesses which one?

Added the another detail to the over head part.  Not sure what the part is but I know it goes there.

Need to repaint two of the over head lid panels;

Another update.  Shinning a light through the panels to get a feel for the look.:

I always find projects with lots of electronics like this one most impressive. As said in previous comments this is one of the two most impressive and realistic cockpit models of the Falcon I've ever seen! I'm missing words here...words can't describe how excellent I find this! How did you manage to make the fabric of the seats look like leather?
Thank you so much for sharing!

For the leather look I gave the back a base coat of tan color. Then I used an art sponge dipping into a burnt sienna and dabbing into cloth first then onto the chair till I got the effect I was looking for.

Thank you so much! I will try this technique for some parts that should look like leather, too!
It looks absolutely stunning and ultra realistic - a 1/6 scale cockpit of the legendary Millenium Falcon...this is so wonderful...just brilliant!

  • All Hail the Empire!

I have been working on this side project for a few days in between working on my Falcon Cockpit.  The 3D model is designed by Stinson.  He is the same guy that created all files that SofaKing01 uses for his 1:1 scale cockpit over at THERPF forums.  Quick look at what I have done so far.

You keep to amaze me! Very impressive print! "You made the first steps into a larger world!"
Let's see what 3D-printing brings in the near future...the quality of your pieces is very good!
