Darth Optimus is making an Aliens Diorama!
-- Posted by on Saturday, March 31 2012
Take a look at his Aliens Face Hugger Creatures and Containers and tell me they just don't seem 100% accurate to the movie. I am so excited to see his Diorama he is working on and trust me if you click back into his Custom Figures Thread you will see some Predator Goodness too. I am thinking, since I am feeling a bit under the weather today, of making my afternoon a Rambo/Aliens Movie Marathon.
Jlw515 shows us his Tonnika Sister
-- Posted by on Saturday, March 31 2012
I must say this looks great to me. I wish whatever arguement or disagreement is keeping the rest of us from getting these classic Cantina Characters would get resolved so we could all add these to our collections. Till then I am sure envious of creations like this that seem so spot on. Speaking of Cantina Denizens, it turns out JLW515 has his own website called cantinacustoms.tripod.com that is definitely worth a look.
Lucasclones is on fire!
-- Posted by on Saturday, March 31 2012
Check out his new Rambo Custom. I might just have to watch First Blood Part II now. Still, if you think Rambo is good wait till you click into his Custom Figures Thread and see all the custom clone goodness that he has posted. I am loving the Blitz he has done in the realistic style, but there is way more to look at than that. We might just have to have another week of Lucasclones.
Want a great price on some great Custom Fodder?
-- Posted by on Saturday, March 31 2012
From the new Prototype Mail Away Boba Fetts to ARC Troopers to Omega Squad, I have listed for auction some really great custom action figure possibilities. With less than five hours left and with some of these selling right now for around a dollar or a little over, this not so modest advertisement could see you scoring a great deal. My obsession with keeping my new collecting room clutter free could see you getting a killer deal. Please also remember one of those auctions (Sarlaac Pit/ISY one) is for the family of Mercury Art Studios!
Stitchfett does Cody, Microman style

We are always amazed at the awesome conversions he is able to pull off with these Microman figures. Have a look and see the rest of his picture spread.
Star Wars Revised creator coming soon to ISY!
-- Posted by on Friday, March 30 2012
As Tamer has already mentioned the Editing Guru known as Adywan, creator of Star Wars Revisited and Empire Strikes Back Revisited has agreed to join us on the ISY Podcast.
For those of you who have not seen ANH Revisited in it's entirety, it is the definitive edit and a complete re-working of the film. The list of improvements is mind boggling, even the trailer shows the film in a far more dramatic light and is just a small taste of the spectacular re-editing job, which was all done using nothing more than a home computer and Adobe After Effects.
We will of course keep you updated as we Strive to Excel!

Stay tuned for the date and time when we will feature this great interview and post your questions here.

Add some Star Wars to your favorite Computer!
-- Posted by on Wednesday, March 28 2012
Most Wanted Collectibles has listed up for pre-order two awesome new products to add some Star Wars pinache to your favorite desktop or laptop computer. The first item I like is the Darth Vader USB Hub. Shaped in the form of Darth Vader's helmet and chest panel, this USB hub features light-up eyes and true Vader sounds.
The second item I actually already own and really like is the R2-D2 USB Hub. Imported from the UK! Astromech droids are for more than just navigating X-Wing fighters through space - with the Star Wars: R2-D2 USB hub on your desk, you can have four additional USB ports for your computer! It is just full of great sounds too. Personally, I don't think you can have enough usb ports and either one of these two would make great additions to your personal computer stations.
Vader's Quest is here!

He bought a trashed Barbie Dreamboat. He is barely into this project and already has created, at the very least, a greast display unit for some of his custom figures. He is not done with it yet though, follow the progress in his Custom Vehicle Thread.
TTT Goes Python Patrol
-- Posted by on Wednesday, March 28 2012
If you are unfamiliar with the G.I.Joe-verse terminology, Pythonization was a stealth enhancement applied to Cobra troopers and vehicles that took on the form of a Neon colored vaguely snake-like camo pattern/deco. I am sure that it seems totally cheesy/ridiculous to most folks but to Joe (or more appropriately Cobra) fans it seems totally awesome. TTT has put together a small squad of new Python Patrol troopers and they are totally rocking looking! I honestly had trouble picking which one to post but ended up choosing his Python Patrol Croc Tracker which you must see to believe!

Don't forget, it is still not too late to get your TOR on next month at ISY, Yakface, and Echobasenews. Entering your three pack at all three sites will give you three times the chance to win one of the three random prizes too.

I think it looks spot on with his reference pic and he has even given us new images of his overall diorama display area in his garage. He was running out of room and had to make some changes. I think any of us with collections can associate with that feeling.

He found this originally posted by my friends at Jeditemplearchives.com, but this Female Mandalorian Sith Lord just looks awesome to me and if you can believe it, the price is already up to $425 dollars. While personally I find this current auction price quite incredible, I am reminded that it is ebay and sometimes it defies all logic. Hopefully, other customizers can experience the same success with their custom auctions. It is a beautiful looking figure. Let us know what you think about ebay and custom auctions by clicking here.

the Dark Knight Returns Batman vs. Joker Statue, and the Dark Knight Rises 1/12 Statue. Most Wanted Collectibles now has a pre-order discount that is sometimes over 20% even off brand new items. I will be honest, I haven't seen a store that can beat their prices on Gentle Giant items, even brand new mini busts for sale on the LTD Site. I have always recieved my orders packed well with no damages, which is more than I can say for some companies.

Hats off to those who have already shown final submissions!

I am anxious to hear what you think of The Clone Wars Season 4 and that new Darth Maul with Spider Body. Personally, I am not sure whether I think it great or horrifying, but I am hooked nontheless. I am going Resident Evil for your MWC update this week...
-- Posted by on Wednesday, March 7 2012
How can you go wrong with Ninja Alice and Zombies? I will admit I had a huge crush on this gal ever since she showed up in the movie: The Fifth Element. This Resident Evil Ninja Alice Statue looks spot on to me and I can see those clones wreaking havoc in that Umbrella Underground City as I am writing this. I also think the Resident Evil Zombie Cop looks pretty gruesome too. I hope they keep making movies as I have liked them all so far. Usually there is fall off after the first movie in my opinion, but not with this series.
As usual you can trust Most Wanted to handle your order promptly and correctly. With their new Site Wide Reduction Discount Program you will see prices that frankly you won't find in brick and mortar stores as well as other Etaliers. I use them myself and have never had any problems!

Please Help Banankin Skywalker!
-- Posted by on Sunday, March 4 2012
SplitScreen Entertainment is coming to the aid of its friend and colleague, comedian C.C. Banana (a.k.a. "Bananakin Skywalker"). C.C. is best known for his humorous interviews with members of such legendary rock bands as Kiss, Poison and Twisted Sister, as well as "Star Wars" icons including Peter Mayhew, Ray Park and even George Lucas. C.C. was recently in the process of recording a solo album (including a "Star Wars" themed song parody) when his family was struck by severe financial hardship, brought on by the sudden decline of an ailing family member. As a result, he is now on the verge of losing the house he has lived in since birth. In effort to save the family home, SplitScreen Entertainment is organizing a series of auctions on behalf of C.C. Banana, including autographed items from his rock & roll friends and heroes. Additionally, C.C. is parting with items from his cherished "Star Wars" collection, including rare and exclusive Hasbro action figures, sealed Playskool and Galactic Heroes items, boxed Lego sets and much more, nearly all of which have been preserved in mint condition. He is also letting go of some extremely hard-to-find promotional store displays unavailable to the general public, still new and unassembled. The latest batch of auctions is now online, with more to be added in the coming weeks. SplitScreen Entertainment asks all who have enjoyed C.C. Banana's many interviews and adventures over the years to come to his aid in his time of need. No gesture is too small or unappreciated. Fans wishing to donate directly may do so via GiveForward in exchange for various levels of rewards. SplitScreen Entertainment will deduct no administrative fees and every cent raised will go toward C.C. Banana's immediate financial concerns.

Clonehead gives us another fix to the Wal-Mart AT-ST!
-- Posted by on Friday, March 2 2012
This new larger size AT-ST that was exclusive to Wally World last year (or was it the year before?) looks great to me, but its playability is severely hampered the the leg joints which are prone to simply break or fall apart completely. Well our Clonehead is picking up the pieces and putting Lucas' back together. Its good to have a Clonehead around!
