Awesome customs! The hurt locker guy looks great with the custom cloak.

Thanks.

The cloak started off either as Obi-Wan or Mace Windu's robe. The hood was removed, and I don't think I let it soak too long in the bleach/water solution and set in the sun.

Here's a generic desert scavenger I created for another customs contest. It's a better example of bleaching the Jedi robe.

Long overdue for an update. The holidays are over and I'm getting my custom materials out of storage.

Here are pix of items I did last fall. Have several new customs in the pipeline.

First up is a Mando. Came across this GI Joe head (it's from the cancelled Jurassic Park line) at a toy show and knew it would be perfect for a Mando. He just looks like a rough customer with the face tattoo. The backpack is from a Falcon figure.

Next is a generic Republic Commando. The figure was the plain white commando that came in the comic two-pack. I added the generic clone head, and painted it. The paint scheme resembles Sev.

Before Rogue One, I made a generic Rebel commando based on pictures from magazines and the internet. He looks like he's suited more for fighting in the desert than Scarif. I used the Prune Face body. The head is a GI Joe. The coat is Endor Han's trench coat bleached to a lighter color.

Last summer/fall, the website did a contest for a heavy AT-AT gunner. I submitted an entry but wasn't completely happy with it. This is my original idea. Used the Commander Barc helmet, and he's carrying one of the rotary laser rifles.

Final customs are non-SW.

Came across one of the Marvel figures at the discount store. Thought he'd make a KOTOR Jedi but after studying him more, thought he'd make a better gladiator. Painted the legs flesh color. The Chest plate and helmet were painted bronze; the shoulder guard, dry-brushed bronze, is from one of the GI Joe Iron Grenadier figures. Made a skirt out of brown felt, and found the perfect sword in my junk drawer. His shield is from Captain America, painted bronze.

The last is my homage to the GI Joe Adventure from the early 70s. He's a big game hunter. Used the GI Joe Kwinn body, and painted the shirt a light green. (I added a little darker green paint under the armpits and down the spine to show he's been sweating.) The head is from one of the Elite Force figures. The hat is from GI Joe Recondo, and the bandana from Marauder.

More to come in the next few weeks. Promise.  ;D

Sweet jetpack! Was the Falcon a 5-POA from Civil War? Nice work on everything.

I think it came from the TRU exclusive Falcon-Cap'n America two-pack from a year or so ago.

Thank you.

Thanks. Really liked how the helmet worked for him.

Here's a quick one for the weekend. One of my favorite Dark Horse storylines was the battle of Jabiim, in particular the Padawan Pack. These are padawans who'd lost their masters, yet continued to fight. The one character that always stood out for me was Vaabesh, the Gand Jedi.

I used a Zuckuss head and hands on a Mace Windu body. The belt is from a Jango Fett, and the bandoleer is from the Vilmarh Grahrk figure. The legs and Jedi robe have been splashed with mud-like brown paint.

Have a few more figures that I need to photograph over the weekend.

I really like your focus on Comics and Expanded Universe! A Republic Commando with removable helmet is a great idea! I think I've seen one by Clonehead, too!
Also the Mando looks aweome! I agree with the head and the backpack looks extremely well on your Mando custom! Keep up the great work! You seem to be very hard-working on your projects!
