I'm one of those undecided voters. Lol. What exactly is a small vehicle? Speederbike landspeeder starfighter. One or two man vehicles.

Small vehicle would be one man vehicles. Speeders, etc.

Hmm, 6" is a bit out of my price range considering I normally pay a max of $3 per figure I use. Maybe I can make an exception, and get something cheaper.. Who Knows, maybe it will get me into 6" figures too.

I'm thinking non-sentient creature, or maybe more broad like Expanded Universe in general, since Hasbro can't make them anymore.

Ok, I will add that to the poll. Come on folks lets get some ideas generated here. I am just itching to start this so I can showcase the prizes. They are all going to be donated by TS Hobbies and just look fantastic!

What do folks think about some sort of display base for a figure, vehicle, one to one scale collectible, etc?

I have a few ideas to bounce off you can tweek them if need be. First you know I have to advocate a custom vehicle so I think a scratch built ship contest would be cool seeing how this is the "Ship yards". I think a completely original design any scale but at least 5" at its longest point.
Or an original figure based on yourself as a star wars character. Pretty self explanatory any era any affiliation whatever you would see yourself.
Or a custom droid. An original 3.75" or 6" droid design with any purpose you desire.

Display base for a figure sounds interesting, and I agree with JDeck the site is called the ship yards, a scratch build vehicle would be pretty cool. Reading older posts about it's earlier proposal, I'm not sure I agree with no toy produced parts, just not repurposed vehicle parts, that would be too simple. Taking from like toy computer console to make a control console seems well repurposed enough.
