That Bith is great!

It also reminds me that we need a revamp on the Cantina Band members from Hasbro.

Mission Vao
« Reply #181 on: June 12, 2014, 01:46:54 PM »
Here's Mission Vao, the kid sister of the KOTOR crew. It's a comic pack Mara Jade body, Clone Wars Aayla Secura arms and head. Since Mission is a kid, I went for a smaller look for her so she's actually much shorter than most other figures. I've posed her with Big Z, HK-47, Bastila Shan, and some of the other KOTOR crew.

Just a perfect figure for the new contest DC! You created it at just the right time. I am gonna share a contest preview today and use this one as the showcase. Looks great.

Yeah, it's a pretty easy custom, but because Hasbro isn't making any more EU figures somebody had to do it.

I hear you. EU is the one thing I will buy besides TESB figures. I really like the characters and storylines, many more so than any of the prequels and a couple of the OT films.

Blast from the Past: Jabba

I made this version of Jabba before Hasbro made an ROTJ version of Jabba. Many, many years ago. I know it looks horrible, but I was only 15. Well, given how many young customizers are out there now, maybe youth is no excuse.

6'' Cantina diorama

6’’ Cantina Diorama

I bought a set of 3-D printed Cantina chairs and table from Hole in the Ground. They don’t come painted, so I painted the chairs and added some weathering. I love how they look with the 6’’ figures. If Hasbro makes some more Cantina aliens in this scale, I could easily see getting more of these sets.

Blast from the Past: Mon Calamari officer

This was my attempt at a Mon Calamari officer during the late 1990s. I’ve since made a version of this character based on the TVC Admiral Ackbar.

Darth Plagueis v. 1.5
« Reply #189 on: July 04, 2014, 08:16:16 PM »
The Darth Plagueis figure is one of my favorites of 2013. Hasbro did a great job overall. However, earlier promotional photos showed the figure with blue veins on his head, whereas the final version has a clean head. I understand why Hasbro didn’t want the final one to have veins (because the damage only occurs after the assassination attempt on Plagueis) but I liked the look. This was just a simple repaint of the head, as well as adding a metallic sheen to the mask.

Tenebrous! Oh and all the others... wow. Spot on. Impeccable work on those Sith.
The exploits of my life are less canonical than they are legendary.

Darth Tenebrous v. 2.5

I liked the sculpt of my Darth Tenebrous, but decided to give it some more color. In particular, I painted the body armor and gave him purple belt fabric.

Yeah, I know, it's tough. I fortunately got 3 Plagueis figures when HTS had them in stock so I could sacrifice one to a custom.
