I just looked at the FP, considering I'm the Moderator of this forum I'm embarrassed I hadn't spotted it before the others...

The speed at which you are churning these out is, quite frankly, putting me to shame...You are forging ahead as this site's Graphic Novel Supremo!

It only takes a quick glance at the two to see that your graphic fiction series takes a LOT more effort and polish than mine, Jules. Besides, without yours and others' artwork, I wouldn't feel the need to strive to produce as much as I do!

I think that by having a shorter lead time between chapters keeps things fresh in the mind, it really feels like a regular comic book feature and it makes following your story very exciting.

I've finally caught up with events and wow did I like this last chapter. Ooo I wonder what Tarkin is up to!!!

Your story writing skills are just spot on and you seem to pace the stories so well that I find myself wanting to read more. Your graphics are the perfect accompaniment to such superb writing.

The next issue is dragging along a bit at the writing stage; I already have the basic plot of the entire volume mapped out, but I'm beginning to struggle to keep juggling the various sub-plots etc on an issue-per-issue basis - we're beginning to get into some complicated conspiracy-style plotlines, so it can get a bit hectic keeping on top of all the different agendas and secrets running around . I've already had to push poor Luminara's one-shot back another issue, haha. Hopefully I should have the next issue properly scripted out in time for 'production' to start this weekend.

To make up for the lapse in production, I've been working on making some new 'issue covers' for all the issues uploaded so far. They were partly inspired by Darth Sinister's work over in the Graphic Artwork section. The plan is to update the website's main page with a new cover every time an issue is uploaded.

I've completed four, for the first four issues of Volume One. Let me know what you guys think:

Wow, that Grievous one really looks bada$$ to me. They are all good. You guys all get so much better with graphics and I just plod along.

Oh yea, I love them! The only thing that could make it cooler is the bar code on the lower left corner.

I've finished the Volume One cover pages, and took Luke Sprywalker's advice to include the barcode; such a small detail does add loads to the 'comic book' effect.

All of these have been uploaded to the site, and I'm now working on bringing Volume Two up to date:











EDIT: The first four might still appear the same as before (without the barcode), but clicking 'refresh' seems to fix it.

It seems as though we have a whole new artwork genre...comic book covers.

All of these covers look superb, I especially like the "Race to Save the Queen" one.
