Hi All,

New WIP pics of the next dio.

This one will be of a Rebel Hoth turret which has been hit by Imperial fire and a Snow trooper checking it out.

The Turret so far is plumbers PVC pipe and plastic card which will the main material on this build.

Yeah I'm satisfied with my work, but deserts are my Achilles heel. The sand plaster paint  mixture is a delicate balance.
The  Hoth Turret dio is going to be awesome, great idea.

A Hoth Turret Project? Really Ron daggone you! You are killing me with these Hoth Projects. Love the way it looks so far. I can't wait to see what you do with another AT-AT Dio too. Off to share the latest. I sure hope I don't want one of these too.

Hi All,

Did some work on the turret and I have started using foam board for the bottom section of the turret and the turret it self.

I have given the turret edges a angle to it and I need to now fill and sand it and also the bottom section and then start adding the details.

I also removed the soft plastic skirt section to add a cloth one and also sanded the top of the helmet so it actually more rounded.

Hi All,

While the glue and filler is drying I decided to start on a single figure dio which is Obi Wan Kenobi ANH.

The figure is the Hasbro BS 6" and I covered him except the elbows with a dried baby wipe which was attached using PVA GLUE.

The belt is leather the buckle is palstic card and the studs are plastic as well, I reused the hook which was on the figure and used a thin piece of leather to conect it.
