Hi All,

Started a new dio last night and finally got around to taking some WIP pics.

This dio will depict a Imperial troop combat shuttle hovering about the ground so that the troops can repel out to the battle below.

The base so far is just an old shelf section. I used foam board to start the frame work of the mountain, I have used a piece of PVC piping and lock tight to keep it in it's place and the partial shuttle is made from foam board so far.

but in all seriousness I can't wait to see this one completed. Imp drop shuttles and heck even custom Tyderium and Sentinel shuttles are rare and in 6" even rarer. Hats off for the work so far sir.

Hi All,

Sorry for the lack of WIP pics but I have been busy getting things done as I am getting medically discharged and there is a crap load of paperwork to do and by the end of the day I'm mentally drained.

So saying that here are a few pics of the interior, I have done the floor, walls, frame work and gun/equipment rack.

I didn't know you were getting discharged. Congrats on a great military career and to getting finished with all that paperwork. I can remember that time from when I got out of the army, what a lot of hurry up and wait!

This is going to be an epic dio! The concept is really fun and the beginnings of the project show a lot of promise. It will be fun to watch this diorama develop.

Thanks heaps Shawn, yeah I re-joined back in 06 and did 10yrs and 2 deployments. After 9 surgeries on my left ankle which is not getting better they decided that is time to go. I can't complain really had an awesome time but you are right it has been a lot of hurry up and wait.

Well thank you for your service. I know that is a fun time raising a family and doing moves every so often, etc. etc.

I just hope that means now you will get to set up your own art studio and do this custom thing full time. Sorry Ron, couldn't resist!
