Sweet! That pod was always one of my favorite creations you've built.

Wow, the Bunker Assault turned out really well. Love the action shot.

The pod diorama is looking excellent, its just too bad you have to cover up some of the amazing work you did on that escape pod!

Are the vallejo paint acrylic, enamel, or oil paints? I know acrylic is water based and will warp foam core boards.

Hi All,

Daggone Ron, another project? Looks fantastic. You continually amaze me bud. Off to share.

Cheers Shawn, I'm having a ball creating these dios and with SW Battlefront for inspiration the possibilities are endless.

Sweet! That pod was always one of my favorite creations you've built.

Thanks mate, I figured it was about time I put it on a dio.

Thanks heaps mate and it is but honestly it's worth it.

Hey  krztf,  Vallejo is acrylic and I have never had a problem with it warping the foam core boards even when I use washes on it.

Hi All,

Started on one of two of the figures for the drop pod diorama and first up is the scoutrooper. I have started building him straight out of the box and I started covering the joints with cloth during the build instead of after.

I have decided to do articulation with this dio as I have had people ask me would I do one eventually with articulation so no place like the present as they say.

Looks great! That's my biggest moan about the Bandai scout. The body glove has no texture, but you've alleviated that problem.

Hi All,

Have completed adding the cloth to the two troopers I am using on the drop pod dio, I just need to fill in a few small gaps and then paint and weather them.

Hi All,

Started the ground work on the drop pod dio this afternoon and I thought that I show what materials I am using to make it.

First up the small ridge section and the up churned ground were the pod has hit are done by using plaster cloth.

Up next is the actual materials I use to make the ground work and as you can see I use the following.

1 - Spakfilla
2 - Auquahere glue
3 - Brown Dye
4 - Mulch and dirt.

I mix the fisrt three materials together first until I get an almost pancake type thickness and then I start adding the mulch and dirt and keep adding until the mixer and mulch have combined.
