I've been thinking hard about the custom contest, and have the pieces for these figures I'd like to make and if good enough enter in the contest. This will at least give me one to focus on, and if it doesn't turn out I'll focus on the next highest. Hopefu

Thanks Tamer, great work you do here. He's not quite the final version though, more about that in a bit. Thanks again!

Great work! The gauntlets and boots look awesome.

I'm glad you like them, I think the shades of brown on them are very good complements of each other, bringing out my sculpting more. Thank you for the complement, I'm always happy to hear my art is appreciated!

Zora looks great! The sculpting is amazing.

Sure means a lot, he's my most time consuming figure yet, and I even cut his guitar! Hope I get the coin I need for him considering all that time. Thanks you very much, I'm happy to hear the sculpt is a good one!

This is the final version of Zora Link, and my first 6in figure! 16 hours of love wrapped up in this one, and I don't think I could be more pleased (well maybe if I could do the guitar yet). He has hand sculpt features from head to toe, and a finished cloth skirt for no fraying, or motion hindrance. The pair of fins come off, and on by magnet, for maximum convenience. Lastly he comes with a clear stand I painted with clear blue to simulate water, for holding him upright, or in a swimming pose. If your going to paint using Tamiya sprays, I do suggest a brushed on clear coat, the heat from my hands, with the oils from my clay, made the parts I held while working on him sticky, but the clear coat, both stopped it, and prevented it from happening any further. Looking into some new sprays for my endeavors into 6in figures, and one is a dye, not a paint.

And if anyone is interested, he's listed here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Legend-of-Zelda-Majoras-Mask-6in-Zora-Link-Action-Figure-nintendo-figma-/351605005058?hash=item51dd4a9b02%3Ag%3ACKEAAOSwCQNWb53z

That dye sounds interesting, let us know how that works out. Great tip on the clear coat too.

Looks great, off to share.

Plans already in motion ;) ordered a set for myself, and thinking a Zelda and Shiek combo, to be the same scale as Figma Link.

If you get a chance do a review of those figures. I know we would all love to hear your thoughts from a customizing perspective.

Matter of fact if you want to do a quick video review, send me the vid and I will load it to your YouTube Channel.

I can't wait to see what you do with em.

Well my opinion on Figma is pretty high, extremely well done figures, worth their higher prices. Though according to some people you need to like the Japanese style figures (mostly referencing the joints being like disks), personally I appreciate quality figures in all forms. Been waiting to find these blanks cheap enough to use as base figures for a while now, and am curious myself to how well they'll go, for example they are a higher quality plastic than I'd say most here are used to working with Hasbro figures. Having worked on Link, it's more reluctant to paint, but have some new ideas. Thinking about learning to take them apart too, and hopefully I won't ruin anything. Thanks for the vote of confidence Tamer, I'm hoping to make some pretty cool figures with these, and you might have persuaded me to make a video, I'll see what I can do  ;)
