NEED HELP IDENTIFYING HELMET
« on: April 11, 2014, 12:17:14 PM »
I'm trying to recreate the young Boba Fett from S.4 E.20, of Clone Wars entitled "Bounty". Bobba is leading his own crew on a job in this episode. the outfit is pretty straightforward, but his helmet, I don't want to have to sculpt entirely. Can anyone identify the helmet, and possibly lead me to figures with similar helmets or this exact one. Thanks!!!

it does remind me in some ways of the vc shae vizla alternate helmeted head but that would take some work to make it look like this one.

I commented in your custom figures thread, but I was thinking about the only helmet I can think of that is already out there that looks remotely similar is the Starkiller Force Unleashed Evolution Set that was produced years ago when they did Evolution sets. Think that was the helmet I was thinking of called Vaders Secret Apprentice, but its not spot on by a long shot.

Tamer, that was the first one I thought of, too, so I looked that fig up on ebay (fastest way *I* can find pics!) to compare the two, thinking I could mod it by maybe combining it with a Boushh helmet.

Yeah, no.  Not *me* anyway.

Every possibly similar helmet has the mouth-grills running side to side - this one runs vertical.  I'm thinking one of our awesome sculptors is going to have to have a go at this one from scratch.

In thinking the same thing. I'm not at a level where I could produce this for a 3.75" figure. Thanks guys.

It would be cool to see this helmet made.

What neck nub would this helmet be needed to fit on? Or are we assuming we want this to be hollow? I am assuming that will up the difficulty level a bit.

I would check with one of the sculptors here like Lucasclones or I-am-Boba-Fett as that would be cool to see. Maybe they could take that Starkiller helmet and mod it for you to fit on TCW figures.

Yes. Already PM'd I-am-Boba-Fett, I'll send Lucasclones a message as well. If someone decides to sculpt this beauty, I would be exstatic.
