BOOM!!!... That was the sound of my jaw hitting the floor when I saw that Turbolaser. I have wanted one of those ever since I can remember. Now I will have to build one for myself at some point. You have just made my custom build list even longer. Thanks a lot!

Seriously that and the Tie Fighter with the light up cockpit are astounding! Excellent work!

@Tamer: because of the size of models with the display stand I (must) show them in different rooms

And here's the "little brother" of the 1/18 Turbolaser Tower:

Scratch built Episode IV Death Star TURBOLASER model with a USB controlled gun-turret (pan/tilt) and
an "addon base" for the TIE-Fighter. The dimensons about 22x22x20" (WxDxH). Approx. 600-700 hand-cutted
small "armor plates" on the surface !
