Great work on the Ahsoka, Your daughter is very lucky  and loved little girl!
Now mine is a little jealous, but it has changed her to like more that Leia and Amidala.

What did you use for the Mando badge? I got to get one of those.
Excellent job.

By the Knights of Mandalore, our Quest will ring true

lol it's the Cabbage Patch Woklings!  great work mate ! i use Kneadtite myself only over here we call it "Green Stuff" i tend to use it mainly for hair sculpting .
Thanks Wraith9
I use it for hair too.  I'll show those figures off some day.

I used a plastic repair medium from the local hardware store to cast the bodies.
I'm about to order the Aves that everyone on ISY raves about.  It seems like a much better product than what I've been using.

The Green Stuff is frightfully expensive.  I got 6 inches at the Warhammer store for $10 back when my son was into that.   I used it like it was gold leaf.
Then I saw it on eBay.  It's the same yellow and blue ribbon, only they called it Kneadite, and it was a much more reasonable 36 inches for $11 excl S+H.

I think I've made most of my customs for her.  Hasbro just doesn't make enough figures for my Geekette.

Do you mean the red Mando emblem of the blue mercenary?  I hand painted that with a 5 brush and a tooth pick.
To cut those way narrower than a millimeter teeth, I ran my X-acto blade down the length to separate the paint while it was still wet.

I am working with a decal program for making my own emblems.  I need a better painting/image editing program and to get a fresh color cartridge.
I'd hate to waste those decal sheets with a failed experiment, and I'm trying to fit as many decals and patterns on one sheet as I can.   They cost about $2 each.

Wow, now thats a cool project. Thanks for sharing the step by step with us. I have to go share this. What a cool way to get an Endor size portion of little Ewoks!

Sjefke, before this leaves me, I would also like to formally invite you onto a future podcast of Custom Action Figure News if you are game.

Dang Tamer!  I couldn't sleep, so I posted this at 2am last night.  When do you sleep?

Sure, I'd love to.  We can laugh about how everybody mispronounces my handle ;)
I have a pretty hectic work schedule (chaotic is more like it), so give me plenty of advance notice.

I would definitely do that. Right now our normal time frame is Thursday evenings around 6:15PM eastern. We are also booked into February so far so you would get plenty of advance notice. I am hoping Chad and I can work on a new schedule sometime over Thanksgiving or Christmas Break.

These babies (pun intended!) are even more awesome in person! I'm fortunate to have a couple from the Yuzzum and cannot thank him enough   0/
I'm glad you and your sisters are enjoying them.  :D

I'd love to see other people make some Woklings.  They're great little accessories.

It's been a while since I posted anything.  I've been busy working on a few projects, which aren't ready to show yet.   Here are a few astromech repaints I've done over the last couple of years.

This is an R2-KT I made for a friend.  Saga Legends R2-D2, of course.

Here's a TCW style R2-KT, I made for Customs for the Kids

Finally, here's the one I made for my daughter.  She picked out the colors and specifically wanted a purple dome.  She hasn't given the droid a designation yet, but we will entertain suggestions?

Nice, like how you are getting your daughter involved in this. Off to share. I will think on a good R2 designation.

It is posts like you last ones that I really like. Trying to involve the younger generation in our hobby when more and more of our kids seems to be glued to tv type activities and video games is awesome in my book Sjefke. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Tamer.  Unfortunately, the kids are getting older, the games are getting better and The Clone Wars is off the air.  I sure hope Rebels and Episode 7 reignite the flame.
