Since work is taking its toll on my spare time, it has been a while since my last custom projects, but here is my most recent addition to the ever growing range of Clone Wars era figures:

Commander Speer, 1st Shock Battalion

This following figure is a female member of the Rebellion era 10th Legion Scout Squadron:

Dear Hasbro,
I've always believed that accessories can easily make a cool figure an awesome figure.
You've got all the parts. I've got all the ideas...
There's money to be made from your customers.

May I present ARC-Trooper Alpha-90 "Gloom"

Thanks, Tamer. It's a shame, Hasbro doesn't do more cool kitbashes. It would be so easy to put together a strike team pack of four or six troopers.
Hey, did you see the other two figures one message above Gloom?

By speaking of kitbashes: here's the first figure in a series of early Alliance era resistance fighters.
You'll recognize the TVC Bespin Luke as basic figure, GI Joe POC Duke's head (one of the nicest male stock sculpts, I think), GI Joe Resolute Siberia Duke's gloved hands, feet from a TAC Rahm Kota, bandolier and rifle from two TVC aliens.

I really like the way this figure turned out. Its a great way to build out the "rag-tag" groups that fought the Empire. The Duke head works really well on the Luke body. Great eye!

Nice one, Volker!
I love that head also.
 And those gloved hands, perfect.
I wasn't buying them when the resolute line was out.
What do you think of the yelling duke head from the 50th chase for the mass device pack?

Thanks, people.

Clint, many people don't seem to like the yelling Duke, but I say: why not?
It's something different and in combination with an action-posed figure, maybe enhanced by an inkwash over the face for a little more depth, or on a figure as part of a small diorama, it might look really cool.
