Looks like he put up a fight.  Did you release him or skin him?

We went ahead and released him. We are more after Bass or Crappie. I would have liked to have had you mount that bad boy though.

I caught smaller stuff.....catfish, perch, and a small bass. There was so much chad swinning around, Im surprized we got any bites at all. I guess that they were sick of the chad and were wanting some worms for a change.
Am I spelling chad right? chad shad...look like minnows.

Another three days of fishing and swimming have come and gone. This time I got to fight in a 4-5 pound cat.

Here is another pic of the cat. He was about one foot long. Also, here is a pic of a decent large mouth bass that the wifey caught.

And then, tell me if this has ever happened to you before. This little perch took my bobber under and when I jerked to set the hook, I guess this happened. When I reeled him in, My hook was set in his belly. Weird, Huh?

Been out fishing twice this week getting ready for a tournament on Saturday.  Tuesday was pretty slow and wet, rained all morning.  Caught a few small bass.  Today I went out and talk about a change.  Boated 4 bass and decided to leave, don't want to catch all of them before sat.  The four bass were between 3-4 pounds.  They were snapping today, hopefully they will be on sat.

Fishing is fishing some days, but having three great spots is sure to be a confidence builder. Can't wait to see how it goes. I have always wanted to fish a tournament.
