Thanks guys!

So I wasn't really happy with the first custom action figure of Chopper that I made, so I took one more crack at him.  This time I used the arms from the front of the Ralph McQuarrie R2-D2 that I realized I should have used immediately after finishing my last version.  It's funny how the best piece could be right there under your nose and you still completely miss it. I inserted magnets at each end of the arm for articulation.

I also added a few extra accessories that I didn't provide the last time around. A wheel made from a recycled plastic Chinese food container, some clear styrene rod, a magnet, and some Green Stuff. Once I finished the fabrication of the wheel, I sculpted a rocket booster from Green Stuff, glue gun, that I then finished off with a few washes of sepia and red.  I really like that these simple modifications provided so much more from this Chopper compared to my last stab at it.   I just showed this figure on the last episode of The Wolpack Podcast when I appeared as a guest, so I figured I should finish him up and get him posted since he was sort of revealed already.

Hope you all enjoy!

Looks wonderful to me. You might have to start making you own new REBELS Figures. I have a very good feeling this line is going to take a huge back seat, if not downright go away, once E7 starts. I hope I am wrong, but this weekend sure didn't prove me wrong did it.

Off to share. As usual great work Brian.

Thanks guys!

This is just a quick modification that you can  make to Zeb's Bo-Rifle if you have a drill, krazy glue, and some small rare earth magnets on hand.  Just drill two small holes in to the triangles on the back of the Zeb action figure and two more into Zeb's Bo-Rifle and the weapon will attach to his back just like in the show.  I used an X-acto knife to adjust the weapon so it is positioned like it is when it is closed.  I just cut off the trigger and handle and then glued them into the reconfigured location.  It should take you less than thirty minutes to perform this modification.

Last year around the holidays, Dad bought me some of the podracer cast figure models that were created by ASIS FILM MODELS.  Although the figures offered no articulation, the sculpts were really amazing!

Recently I painted the Wan Sandage that I received to display with my podracer collection.  It was really cool adding another great podracer to my Phantom Menace collection.  Stay tuned for more podracers throughout the month of March!

Great job painting the Wan Sandage model. It is nice to be able to expand the podracer collection, and this will certainly will be a fantastic addition to your line-up.

darthdaddy - the alteration is very well done.

Elias - Your paint apps on Wan Sandage is stunning mate, the textures and weathering is spoton.

Thanks everyone :)

Elias really impressed me with the paint job of his second podracer from ASIS FILM MODELS cast figure model series. Although the figures offer no articulation, the sculpts are out of this world!

Recently Elias painted the "Ebe Endocott" that we received in hopes of growing his Phantom Menace collection. Elias' paintwork was so skillfully applied and he was able to add one more podracer to his display. Stay tuned for two more podracers in the month of March this time painted by ASIS FILM MODELS themselves.  Customs for the Kid was able to acquire the very podracers that were used in the photography for their store's website!

This Star Wars custom action figure is just a repaint of the AT-DP pilot as a way to create a pilot for our newly acquired Imperial Troop Transport.  The hardest part was painting the white Imperial cog on the helmet of the figure.  I tried to recreate the gloss look on the armor that is reflected in the animated Rebels series.  I have a strong feeling we will see this figure released y Hasbro in a future wave.
