A Human/Dathomiri hybrid Nightbrother - still workin' on his backstory, but, I couldn't wait to share him w/ U all...
I am REALLY diggin' a lot of the figure lines that UNIMAX is offerin' up lately --- (Red Faction, Crysis2, Assassin's Creed, etc.) --- they are usually priced a couple bucks cheaper than any of the Hasbro toylines & have just as good detail in their sculpts --- the construction is similar to other 1:18 scale figures & mix well --- this fig was made using an Assassin's Creed Doctor body w/ a Red Faction Hale head & lower arms from a Marvel movie Avenger's Hawkeye... hope U all enjoy & his backstory is nearly complete.










Just a simple parts swap w/ minimal paint...Smiley

Have been itchin' to enter a YAKfinities since I registered there... these contests showcase some of the best & most creative customs @ YAKFACE. A brief history before I debut my 1st YAKfinities submission... I had found a Blu-Ray edition Episode5 ESB 4-pk (w/ a Hoth Leia) @ my local K-Mart on clearance for $9.50 --- then I happened upon a VC Zam Wessel @ Marshall's for $5.00 --- then I found a Sandstorm Leia @ WalMart (paid retail - $9.89) So, these were the 3 basic figs that comprise this custom... w/o further adieu...

The Corellian female known as Jaylah Mandrey, was a former Special Invesigator for Corporate Sector Authority. After many years of service with the CSA, she became disillusioned with the gross corruption she witnessed within the force. She offered her considerable talents as a private security contractor for a while, before finding herself as Chief Security Officer of Gaming Industries for Cloud City. Jaylah is the law in Cloud City when it comes to it's gambling facilities... she answers only to Lobot & Baron Administrator Calrissian. She is the ultimate pitboss, overseeing the peaceful progression of daily wagering & discouraging players from cheating or otherwise disruptive behavior, along with providing security escort for many of the gamblers who frequent Cloud City's gaming tables. She is a devastatingly fast draw & deadly accurate when business turns to the elegently lethal end of the spectrum.  Gaming Indusries is Cloud City's 2nd largest source of revenue & she protects that resource very well...

SIDENOTE: Jaylah has always had an uncanny ability to "sense" things before they happen, she was unaware of the ambush that the Empire had setup for the crew of the Millenium Falcon & she experienced an uncontrollable illness that coincided with Lord Vader's arrival & had departed Cloud City for medical treatment during these events.

Great stuff.  Love the inventiveness with the use of parts.  The paints on the Mandos is great...nice muted tones without forsaking color.  I'll mail you all my WIPs so you can paint them up...lol

Wow, I like them both. Had a heck of a time deciding which one to feature on the fp.

Picked the Nightbrother. I love the use of the parts and appreciate you sharing your recipes. I can definitely see some folks going to look for some of these parts to make their own versions.

Wow! These are great!  Major cenobite vibes from the nightbrother! Are the facial tattoos decals? If they are just paint I don't know how you keep your hand so steady!  Excellent work!  People have already mentioned the muted tones on the mandos, but it bears repeating, awesome color schemes. And Jaylah? Well I'm a sucker for OT-era customs, so it's right up my alley!
