Yay! I have finally finished both the Jedi Zabrak and Satele Shan! (SATELE NOW IN THE NEXT POST)
Just for fun, I'm doing a 2 day reveal, so for today, here's Jedi Battlemaster Kao Cen Darach (Satele's 1st master), but there's also a little teaser of Satele in here as well.

Here's some notes on how she was made:
- Soft goods tunic
- Custom-made belt according to pics
- Soft goods boot straps
- Hard-sculpted hair via knife (cutting off excess hair to match pics, etc) with attached braids
- Smoothed chin via sandpaper
- Shaved joints to lessen paint-flaking

That's a great looking Satele, CT. Paint apps look spot on and the use of softgoods worked out really well. The Scarlett figure is a great base figure for any female character.

Master Darach is a great effort, but judging from the pics, I feel it's a bit of a diamant in the rough. Have you thought about using a Maul head instead and sculpt the armour?

I've seen your Ven Zallow, and I can see why you think that Kao is a little "rough on the edges" haha, though I probably should lower the resolution on the camera. In person it's not as rough.
The thing is though, I like to work with what I have, and pretty much, most of my customs (Satele included) are all made from materials I already have on-hand (else this becomes a VERY expensive hobby). I also have
little to no experience with sculpting from clay or sculpey :\ And I did think about Maul's head, but I feel his facial structure doesn't really fit with what I wanted to do, not to mention those pitifully dull horns by Hasbro hahah.

BUT I really appreciate you taking the time out to give me some constructive criticism. It really means alot! Thanks again!

Thanks, DaBooma! Those eyes really were a pain in the butt to get right! I used to use a needle dipped in black paint to paint the lashes and a dot of paint for the pupil, but now I just use paint pens (i.e. Gundam marker) to draw it out. The result is much cleaner and more crisp.

Hey guys! My new custom:
Kira Carsen, a companion character from The Old Republic videogame. The robes I created for her is based on the robes I have her wearing in the game, which is a combo of Juhani's robes and Mission's pants.
- Removed extraneous plastic (i.e. pouches, collar)
- Added elbow pads
- Customized hair to match game character
- Complete figure repaint
- Soft goods
- Custom Double-bladed green lightsaber
- Added robe clips
