I think she is great Devin and should be the standard female pilot body. There is nothing I do not like. I don't see the paint issues you mention either as your pics look golden. Nice work. Going to the front page.

I really like this.  The new legs make her look a lot more feminine--which is definitely a good thing for a female action figure.  Great job!

narceron, I hadn't used any sealer but the orange paint was glossy.  The flash realy brings that out .  I would go over it with a semi-gloss or matte finish if I had a can of it... I'll probably pick one up sometime.

tamer, the paint issues are underneath the hips, where the leg rubs against the inside of the hip socket.  You can't see them in the pictures because I positioned it so you couldn't    the other main issue is with the knee joint.  When she bends her knee at the bottom part of the joint you can see blue/black of the original figure.

I'm a little disapointe in some paint rubbing issues in the knees... but other than that I'm very satisfied with how it turned out.

I think she turned out nice, devin. I like your fix for the ankle ammo belt. Too bad about the original figure's leg pieces though. "wait, did you cut off the boots, also?"
 For me, orange is just one of those colors that tend to come out glossy looking. yellow is the same way. I usually have to mix up a flatter looking orange using the most matte looking red and yellow that I can find.

no I did not use the origianl figures boots.  The feet and legs are entirely from scarlett.  However, the original figure's legs are pretty much useless now since I cut up one of them... 
of course, I'm not realy upset about it since I have no use for standard star wars legs and hips... my fodder bin is full of them though, eventually I'm going to put together a box of junk I'll never use and put it up for grabs for someone on ISY...
