I found this looking at my facebook profile from my friends at Yakface today. Its up for sale on ebay here from a foreign seller. Looks like we might have a shot at a new Y-Wing.

I have since seen this has been confirmed by RS too. Looks like its legite. I am such a sucker for a vintage box. Geesh, why does it have to be toysrus that gets the good exclusives?

EDIT: Spooky has a much more accurate statement from RS in his post below as I was referring to a post made on Yak's Facebook Profile. It is always good to have so many eyes and ears in Star Wars Internet Land. Keep spreading the information folks.

where on RS was this confirmed, I saw the thread and there was a lot od speculation as to weather this was a fake, a custom, or the real deal...

yup, i believe sandtroopers.com has confirmed this and they have a full photo spread on it now......too bad, I was hoping for an updated Y-Wing instead of the old Kenner mold

Well, it is slightly updated in that now, it has an empty droid socket and the cockpit has been vamped up detail wise. One of the new interior goodies is a positionable targeting computer for the pilot.

The Photos look pretty cool.  I hate it that TRU gets all the cool exclusives.  I missed the other y-wing releases, so maybe I can finally add a few to my fledgling fleet.

AWW it's a old mold with how good they've been doin' on figures in the VCyou would think they could come up with a new Y-WING mold.
