That was an incredible step-by-step, Ron.
The unpainted sculpt was already uncanny good, but you did it justice.
Thanks
I hope this also gets posted in the tutorial section.

Great looking paint job. My brother was just telling me about that 6" old obiwan head. I may have to get one.

Hi All,

This figure is for a comp that is happening over at CUSTOM STAR WARS BUILDERS and in a nut shell you have to convert a Bandai Sandtrooper or Stormtrooper anyway you want and paint it up as long as it's not white. You also have to build a diorama for it as well, I have attached a link to the FB page and anyone can join and you don't even have to enter if you don't want to you can just see what people are doing with the Troopers.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1718385445101505/permalink/1719056208367762/?comment_id=1719062888367094&reply_comment_id=1719063065033743&notif_t=group_comment&notif_id=1464868696185048

Anyway here is one of my entries as I'll have two in the comp.

Most of you have more then likely guessed what mine in based upon the only major difference is I added air hoses. I got the same 1/72 and 1/48 airplane and chopper kits that I did for the 3.75 one I did and added a different back section which a Boba Fett jet pack.

I have also parts from the Bandai Sandtrooper and the Bandai R2/R4 kit and also used plasti card.

Hi All,

I have painted the figure and did a little weathering and will complete that when that diorama is built.

The base so far is done by using high density foam, I put three old 9v batteries in the middle of the small mound to keep the figure from toppling over.

Hi All,

The first 1/12 contest figure is completed.

The base as mentioned is high density foam and the rock sections were covered using plaster of paris. I used fine sand for the ground and fish tank plants, I painted and weathered the base using Vallejo paints.
