Spectacular job. I like the lowlight with the torch shot. Really cool. I can't believe they're making another Indy movie. Indiana Jones and the lost car keys.

Hi All,

Started two new projects.

This one will a Fallout dio, I have been playing Fallout 4 and had this T-45 Power Armour figure from FUNKO which I decided to covert, I still have work to do on him by adding extra armour and greeblies.

I have changed over the hands as they were to small and gave him Bandai's Vader hands, I removed the tanks and changed them around and added new pipes from some old computer cords.

I added some BS 6" Biker Scout shoulder armour to the tricep area and re-adjusted the pipes on the helmet as they were even.

The Lazer Gat was built using plasti card 1/72 pieces, a old model knife blade tube and some pieces of tube and wire from the bits box.

Hi All,

Re-started the Fallout T-45 Power Armour tonight.

I have started adding extra armour to the figure and I added small nuts to the Laser Gattling Gun which I got from a old 1/20 M.ak figure I did a while back.

The billboard is made from plasti card and the pylon is plumbers piping and the sign I printed of the net and glued it to the plasti card and then sanded and roughed it up.

Thanks buddy.

Thanks Shawn, I did a 3-3/4" fault dweller a few yrs back and did a small billboard for that and thought that a larger one for this dio would work well.

Hi All,

The Billboard is 85% complete I just need to add extra rust.

The board so far was done with these steps.
1 - Two coats OF gun metal were painted on.
2 - I then gave it a wash of matt black.
3 - then a wash of Hull Red.
4 - then a wash of a 50/50 mix of Gun Metal/Hull Red.
5 - then Light Brown Pastel chalk was applied and then lightly dapped off.
6 - then Dark Brown Pastel chalk was applied and then lightly dapped off.
7 - then black Pastel chalk was applied and then lightly dapped off.
8 - then the poster was given a very very light wash of watered down Matt black.
9 - then the poster was given a wash of watered down Beige Brown.
10 - then black pastel chalk was used to darken little areas of the poster.

next up will be adding the reddish rust.

How is it you can drop one dio after another? It takes me forever to figure out what i want to make.

Hi All,

How is it you can drop one dio after another? It takes me forever to figure out what i want to make.

Well that is a good question and this is the easiest way to explain is this - I see a figure or kit that I want and then start thinking of what I am going to do with it and once I get it I start making it.

While I'm making it I will order other figures or kits and once I complete the project I'm on I will then either dive straight into the next one as I have all the items I have to make it. I have to wait sometimes a day or two for the parts/items to arrive and then I start the project and the circle starts all over again.

There isn't a day goes by that I am always thinking of a new project to do be in SW, Indy or something like the Fallout dio.

Hi All,

The billboard is complete the darker rust isn't as noticeable on the front but you can see it better on the back.

I added the darker rust by mixing some dark orange pastel chalk and Saddle Brown paint and then dapped it over the billboard then let it dry for a few seconds and then using a baby wipe I dap the it over the billboard to remove any excess mixer.
