Master Spry, sorry it's taken me so long to reply to your latest post. This latest figure has turned out great! I especially like the detailing on the clothing. You always seem to turn out figures that are out of the ordinary and they have always been very inspirational to me.

Thanks guys for the latest comments! I have not had a great deal of time for customs these days but there is one project I have been working on. Wraithnine and I were talking about a CW style Jabbas Dias in chat one day. I said I could make one pretty quickly and not very expensive either. He asked me to have a go t it so I spent about $5 on some styrofoam and wood glue.

Here is my basic shape cut out of foam, holes cut for gargoyle heads and groves cut in with wood burner. This took about 20 minutes.

Next I had to coat each side individualy and let it dry for a day before moving on to the next side. I did 5 sides taking 5 minutes each not including drying time. so 25-30 minutes spent on the hard coat.

Now for the first coat of paint. I used some older tan craft barrel paint and applied it fairly thick with no water added to thin. This gave me even more texture as the paint cracked a bit all over the surface.

With the gargoyles made from wood dowels. They still need paint and more rings.

I have a question regarding Jaxson. You said you took everything apart to paint him. How did you get him back together, for instance, did you have to boil some of the parts to get them back together? Wouldn't that mess up the paint job?

Thanks for the kind words guys. Mungo PM sent.

I hope to darken the grooves and give it a light dry brush with off white. Then I just have to paint the gargoyles.
