Luke Sprywalker's Custom Action Figures from 2009-2012
« on: September 29, 2009, 11:05:01 AM »
Hello guys, this site was brought to my attention by my friend Jules. Very cool site and there are many great customs here so I decided to join up. I am new here but not new to customs. I started by making dioramas out of computer packing pieces for my son about 12 yrs ago. Then a few head swaps and simple pilot repaints were more fun. I found niub niub's universe and found out there were other people like me doing this and doing a lot more. I have been hooked since then.

I'll start by posting some of my older stuff and work my way up to date.

I love the Cantina and all the underhanded scum that fills it. Also it was the first movie George gave us in the saga so I'll start with some of my New Hope customs.

Thanks for looking and I'll be back soon with more scum and villany!

Welcome LukeSprywalker, it's great to see you've made it to the forum...Welcome.

Wow, I love all of them, the three dudes are my favourite (one with the pointed bobble hat) they look almost real, great photography as well. I also love the paintwork you've done on the clothing, it really gives things a realistic look. You are on a par with Chewie with those.

14th picture down looks just like Tarentino...

I've looked at them for a while now and Wow, you really are a great customiser. Top notch on all of these original fellows.

A word of warning, I lurk around this forum looking for pictures of customs to Photoshop, please visit the Custom Artwork forum and look for a post called You've been Hangarbay'd to find out more. It's a totally random thing, it's just whenever I've got an hour or two to kill.

Once again, it's really great to see you here.

Jules

Welcome to the Shipyards.  I like the detailing, they are all good, the little guy in the blue and orange looks like my neighbor,   The tones on many of the outfits really add depth. great job

howdy and welcome!  After seeing these, I'm sure you'll fit in nicely here...

They are all especially well made.  I'll reiterate the others comments and say great paint apps.  Although... i think the one that cought my eye was the one on the right of the set of three "spacemen"... I spy a gi-joe body in there!  If you ever venture into my thread you'll see I enjoy the super articulation of gi-joe figs and try to carry them over into the star wars customizing field.

great work again!

Thanks again guys for the warm welcome, glad to be here.

Reconsgt and  the Clone Commander- Thanks man and I do know the show Carnival, haha funny about your neighbor. The "little guy" is Rycard  Ryjerd and here is a reference shot...

Darth Aussie - You are right I never noticed the Bert Renolds look but now I see it. He is refered to as the unknown Corellian pilot and here is a reference shot...

I love to find these images of obscure characters and make the ones Hasbro will not...or improve ones they did make, Like DR. Evazien.
