I present the Moronsters!

So, lets start off by saying I'm a weird dude.  For a while I've been putting together a pile of figures where I did some very crude sculpting of weird heads and other features, figures that didn't necessarily go with the mostly Star Wars figures I usually put together.  Extending from that I thought it might be fun to put them together with card backs.  I was very much inspired by Super 7's The Worst series, which of course is a throw back to all those cheap knock off/bootlegs figures from my childhood like Bugmen from Insecta and Dragonriders of the Styx.  So I made cardbacks with some quick drawings of the figures and threw together a convoluted space opera story pitting the Chthulhoids vs the Degenerators vs the Crew of the Scurvy Gull.  Hope all this silliness brings a smile to your face.

They are up for purchase on Etsy,
https://www.etsy.com/shop/Moronarama

And don't worry, I'll have some regular Star Wars customs up in a couple of days.

Dark Octorus

Grand leader of the Chthulhoid forces and Master of the Unfathomable Flow, a mysterious magic that gives its users fantastical powers.  Dark Octorus also wields the terrible Black Light Scimitar.  He seeks to dominate all of space and time under Cthulhoid rule and will stop at nothing to see his vision come into being!

Lady Mullusko

Concubine to Dark Octorus, and First Lady of the Chthulhoid people.  Lady Mullosko is a force to be reckoned with in her own right and she is admiral of the Dark Cephalopod Space Armada.  She would appears to be deeply loyal to Dark Octorus, but she has her own designs for space/time domination that do not involve being second on command!

Glow Claws

Chief henchman of Dark Octorus and Commander of the Beastial Corp.  Glow Claws is fiercely loyal to Dark Octorus, who rescued and trained him since he was a small child.  Glow Claws would never knowingly betray the Cthulhoid Leader, but he can be manipulated as more cunning members of the Royal Court have discovered.

Bladehead the Unbluntable

Head assassin of the Cthulhoid Empire, and personal body guard of Dark Octorus.  Dark Octorus has Bladehead specially forged in the golem foundries of the Cthulhoid homeworld.  Made from living Tentacle Steel, the assassin in impervious to most normal damage.  Bladehead is bound to Dark Octorus by his control of the Unfathomable Flow, but given the choice, Bladehead would seek his freedom.

Dr. Goggles

Chief Cthulhoid Scientist and Personal Physician of Dark Octorus.  He is a skilled cyberneticist and nerco-technician, who has done extensive research on accessing the Unfathomable Flow through the recently dead.  It is believed that he has used this knowledge to help enhance Dark Octorus’s formidable natural powers.

Cap’n Snakebeard

Captain of the Scurvy Gull and Pirate King of Lost Space.  Swashbucking his way through the galaxy, he seeks the Treasure of the Eldritch Kings, said to give its owner complete control over space and time.  He unravels the clues to his prize while trying to keep the likes of Dark Octorus and Emperor Fishlips from discovering the power they themselves seek.

Catfish Johnny

First Mate of the Scurvy Gull and Heir to the Whiskering Dark, an ancient blade of unknown power.  If it were not for his fear of Cap’n Snakebeard, he would mutiny and abandon the mad quest for the Treasure of the Eldritch Kings.  Until his time to move comes, he secretly slips information to both the Cthulhoid & Degenerator forces.

Four-eyed Fannie

Oracle and Weapons Master for the crew of the Scurvy Gull.  Blessed with the sight in three of her four eyes, Fannie helps Cap’n Snakebeard avoid the most cataclysmic dangers that face the crew in their pursuit of the Treasure of the Eldritch Kings.  But she has seen the future, and fears what its discovery my do to her beloved captain.

Gray Batter

The Scurvy Gull’s most savage warrior and a skilled guide & tracker.  Gray Batter wields a Ghost Cudgel in combat while distracting his foes with the Swamp Dirge of his people, the Mud Mushers.  He is the lead scout on all away missions and has been key in discovering clues to the Treasure of the Eldritch Kings.

Emperor Fishlips

Divine ruler of the Ichythoslag people and leader of the Degenerators.  Emperor Fishlips is merciless in his control of his people and hungers to control space and time.  His hunger is only matched by his xenophobic hatred of the Cthulhoids, who he views as inferior beings.  He has formed and uneasy alliance with the witch Spydora and unknowable Death Tree, but such is the price to foil his rivals.

Spydora

Sorceress Supreme and Secret Keeper of the Necro-Web.  Spydora has learned the secrets of life and death and wields them as a weapon in her quest for power.  She has divined that the Treasure of the Eldritch Kings is key to the control of space and time, but has not shared with her fellow Degenerators.  She hopes to play Emperor Fishlips off of Dark Octorus so that she might seize control for herself.

Sgt. Zombie Cowboy

Last survivor of the Human Resistance, his corpse was recovered by the witch, Spydora, on the orders of Emperor Fishlips.  Spydora replaced Cowboy’s rotting heart with a Crystaline Spider to give him enhanced reflexes and strength.  Now the Emperor uses Cowboy as a private hitman and enforcer.  As of late, Sgt. Zombie Cowboy has begun to have flashes of his human life, a secret he keeps from his masters as he plots his escape.

Death Tree

The Unknowable Lord of Planet Grimwood and Marshall of the Drifting Space Fleet.  After countless disputes with the Cthulhoids, it was no surprise that Death Tree agreed to join the counter alliance, dubbed the Degenerators.  But Death Tree is no fool and will not let his power be stolen by the Ambition Emperor Fishlips.  He plays and careful game balancing on a razor’s edge!

Razorfin

One of Emperor Fishlips Ichythoslag Warriors. Small and agile, Razorfin is known or quick strike attacks that disable his opponents before they have time to use their bulk to stop him.

Spinorus

One of Emperor Fishlips Ichythoslag Warriors. Massive, muscular monster who is always on the front line of the Emperor's battles against his enemies, the Cthulhoids!

eBay Link to the auctions for this latest batch

CAD-171 – Protocol Droid

When Doctor Kuzla build CAD-171, he needed a lab assistant.  But given the somewhat dubious nature of his experiments, he also needed a little security.  He has been studying the Colicoids, so it was natural to mimic their four legged insect forms into his droid design. So while CAD-171 can handle the most delicate of experiments and translate genetic code in a flash, he's also been equipped with reapid response protocols and weapon programming.  Can't have the competition or the test subjects get the better of you, can you.

Head and neck are from a Fornite Toxic Trooper pick axe. The arms are SW Super Battle Droid.  The torso and legs are Doctor Who

Captain Soonta – Ilthorian Expeditionary Force

It was the long mission of the Ilthorian Expeditionary Force to locate the Prime World, the theoretical first planet from which all life sprang. The hope was to secure its secrets and finally bring balance to the universe. The Ilthorian people would no longer be subject of the whims of Jedi Order or the Galactic Senate. It was Captain Soonta's job to make sure the mission was a success.  He has to balance the combat tendencies of the Shocktrooper Units versus the more subtle needs of his Force Sensitive Seekers versus the exploratory desire of his Science teams.  It could be hard, but he had pulled the the crew out of enough scrapes that he held the respect of all three groups.

Head and hands are  SW Momaw Nadon.  The rest is a full articulated Buzz Lightyear figure.

Darth Corallus – Qiraash Sith Lord

Samko Enz had been researching the Night Sisters since he was a young boy.  When he was finally cleared to travel to Dathomir by the University, he could not get there quick enough.  He was driven to uncover their knowledge and their secret control of the force.  While there he was befriended by and elderly Quarren who shared his interest in the study of this power.  The Old Quarren pushed Samko into darker and darker areas of research until he finally revealed himself nd Darth Azard, long thought dead.  He took Samko as his apprentice and renamed him Darth Corallus, and anointed him with the traditional tattoos of the Night Sisters.

Head is some smooth head alien cast I got in a lot of heads.  The arms, torso and legs are from a SW Count Dooku animated figure.  There are some greebles on his belt mad from some SW accessories.  I used a Micron ink pen to do the tattooing.

Dima Vash – Devaronian Jedi

Dima Vash had been on the trail of the Separatist saboteur for nearly a month.  Every time he was a few steps behind and every time a few more innocent lives were lost.  Whoever or whatever it might be, this infiltrator had been able to get past Vash and his considerable Jedi powers.  This worried Vash and something else, something just out of reach to his senses had him uneasy about this opponent.  But Vash had him now, trapped in the abandoned factory.  Nowhere left to run, nowhere left to hide.  And these were Vash’s thoughts as the red glow of his enemies lightsaber erupted behind him.  How could he have not seen this coming?

Head is a Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. gargoyle head.  The rest is a SW Saesee Tiin figure.

DST-448

DST-448 was odd for his series.  Most were loyal service droid and battle caddies, but DST-448 was his own droid.  He excelled and engine repaid and maintenance, like all of the DST-Series, but he had dedicated a chunk of his memory of limericks, bawdy tales and drinking songs.  The junkyard at Getty Prime was often filled with the metallic voice singing about Rodian Ale and questionable romantic interludes.

The tracks and body are from a Dollar Tree tank and fueling station, the arms are Battle Droid, and the eyes are a Halo modular armor piece.  The back pack is from a Polly Pocket Nicholas figure.  The radar dish is from a DC Robin armor.

EV-X4

The EV series had been a disaster for MerenData.  Their supervisor droid had been prone to stupidity and malicious intent.  But while those are horrible traits for a service model, they could be great for a combat model.  So the EV's were refitted for wet work.  Of course when they started to become “overzealous” in their acceptance for “collateral casualties”, sometime including their owners, MerenData had another problem.  But by then the executives had retired to Dorumaa having looted the company thoroughly.

Head is SW EV-9D9.  The torso is from a Micronauts Pharoid figure.  The arms are from a GI Joe B.A.T.S..  The Legs are Marvel Iron man.

Fassos the Lesser

Fassos had a face only a mother could love and only a fool could trust.  It certainly limited his options, so he entered into the glamorous world of thuggery.  He excelled at the veiled threat and was a crack-shot with a blaster.  He also had just the right amount of fluid loyalty to keep him gainfully employed with several bosses around the Mos Eisley area.

The head is from rubber vending machine alien.  The body, arms & legs are SW Ki Adi Mundi, with com sculpting and hood added to the back.

Ferios – Tognath Jedi

Ferios had the dream again the night before.  There he was standing above the ruined city, fires raging around him.  And there across the bridge, the shadowy figure with the glowing red eyes.  Ferios had been well trained as a Jedi, and he knew not to let emotions cloud his judgement, but the dream haunted him.  And then he found himself here in the city of Seti on Ryloth with the Separatists bombarding them from space.  Here he was on the Bridge of Songs, his padawan slain, waiting for the monster from his dreams to arrive.  Then from the shadows ahead came the ragged breath and the clank of metal feet.  He drew his lightsaber and readied his stance.  His fate had arrived.

Head is SW Bethic Two-Tubes.  The arms, torso and upper legs are SW Obi Wan Kenobi.  The lower legs are SW Clone Trooper.

Greelee Iona – Human Padawan

Greelee was never afraid to try something new, especially when it came to sparring with her fellow students.  With the practice sabers she was unmatched, but she was struggling some now that they were using their real light sabers.  But Horas was making her mad, teasing her and taunting her.  She was ready and launched her fleche, but Horas panicked and stumbled.  His lose blade flung through the air and struck Greelee’s sword arm at the wrist.  The pain was excruciating and as she laid on the mat she realized she was seeing her own severed hand facing her.  Luckily the teachers were quick and she was rushed to surgery.  They could not save the hand, but could fit her with a new cybernetic one.  It was a hard lesson, but Greelee never lost her cool in combat again.

Head is Harry Potter Hermione Granger.  Upper arms, tors and legs are SW Zett Jukassa.  One lower arm is SW Agen Kolar and the other is SW Anankin Skywalker.

J8K-721 – Droid Bounty Hunter

The J8K series was originally designed for human infiltration.  There was no mistaking that distinctive head, but the human clothes and good cloak and they could get situated in an urban area, before being triggered to utilize their considerable fighting skills against enemy combatants.  J8K-721 had been programmed with these protocols, but after being abandoned for more effective units, he was left to his own devices.  Like many of his series, he took to bounty hunting.  It afforded him opportunities to fine tune his equipment, including molecular blades on his forearms and jump jets on his lower legs.

Figure - Head is SW Pit Droid.  The arms, torso and legs are GI Joe Para-viper.  The bandana is from a Fortnite figure and the leg rockets are from a  SW Boba Fett figure.

Speeder Bike – The front end is a motorized AT-RT walker and the back end is Rey's Jakku speeder.  The rifle holder is made from and old inflatable lightsaber,

Keela Djot – Sakiyan Jedi

Keela's master told her to run, but she could not.  Not only was Master Ghado her friend, but she had allowed her self to feel much more than that for him.  It was against the Jedi way, but her heart swelled for him in a way she did not think she could control.  She had been trained to avoid attachment, but was love and life not at the heart of the Jedi path.  But as the traitorous Clones began to attack, Keela rushed into the path of he blasters, fighting desperately for the man she now knew she loved.

Head is from an Avatar the Last Airbender Ang figure.  The rest is a Pirate of the Caribbean Elizabeth Swann figure.  The boots were made using and old inflatable light saber.

L1-S0Z – Protocol Droid

L1-S0Z was designed to put people at ease with her child like appearance.  However the Sar Agorn designers underestimated  how off putting the large head with the uneven eyes would be for standard humanoids.  That being said, the oversized cranium has one of the most powerful neural processors seen on a droid.  L1-S0Z language and protocol capacity far exceeds the CZ or TC series droids from Cybot Galactica.

Head is PlaySkool Traiing Droid from Kylo Ren figure.  The body, arms & legs are ReAction Tomorrowland Athena figure.

Melnat – Zeta Reticulan Bounty Hunter

While Melnat poses as a bounty hunter, he is actually a sworn officer of the Zeta Reticulan Interdiction Force.  He is tasked with bringing criminals back to the homeworld to face the good justice of the Council of Twelve.  He desperately misses his home as all Zeta Reticulans do as they as the distance separates them from the empathic waves that connect each of his people to each other.  But he is loyal to the Council and will see his mission complete.

Figure - Head is a Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Alien head.  The rest is SW Jedi Luke Skywalker.  The holster and pouches are from an unknown figure.

Speeder Bike - The front end is Storm Hawks Talon Switchblade Elite with some Lego greebles.  The engine is the base from the cannon that comes with the SW Miriban Trooper Han Solo and Chewbacca set and one of the Twin Turbines from the Men in Black Stalk-eyes figure.

Paibok – Skrull Jedi – A Star Wars/Mavel Mashup

Paibok has been of special use to the Jedi Temple, due to his natural shape shifting abilities.  The Council has sent him on dozens of missions infiltrating everything from Senatorial staff to Royal attendants.  His mission was clear, never to influence, but only to collect information for the Council.  It was suspected that his abilities allowed him to escape Order 66 and he now remains in hiding, waiting for the return of the Jedi.

Head is a Domz Talos figure.  The rest is a SW Kit Fisto figure.

Potas – Nautolan Jedi

Potas was fearless in his combat training, but his real strength lied in his vision of things to come.  Those large dark eyes could peer more clearly into the future than any youngling they had seem in a century.  So he was assigned to Mistress Jocasta Nu.  She could help mold his mind and home his skills in the service of the great Jedi Library.  And so it was to be until the dark day that Vader crossed the threshold of the Temple.  Like many, Potas fell that day to the Sith Lord's blade.

Head is a SW Kit Fisto figure.  I trimmed the front tentacles and removed a chuck from the middle of the back tentacles to make them shorter.  The body is a SW Episode 1 Anakin Skywalker.

Poto-39 – Service Droid

Jawa Bob mad quite a find when I found Poto-39.  Someone had filled that little tread droid with specs for thousands of droids.  In the used droid business that was gold.  Poto-39 could filed strip an Astromech and reassemble it in under 2 hours.  And the thing would run better than it did coming off the factory floor.  And in exchange, Jawa Bob made sure Poto-39 was well cared for.  All the mods and oil baths a droid could desire.  It was a good life for a droid.

Head is a missile launcher from a Gundam model.  The eyes are pegs from a Mastermind board game.  The neck is from a Transformers Rampage figure.  The torso and arms are a Minimates Lost in Space Robbie the Robot.  The lower body and treads are from a Dollar Tree transformer.  The utility arms is from a SW R2-D2 Jabba’s Palace figure.

Pram Hornek – Iktochi Bounty Hunter

Pram Hornek was out for blood.  Those filthy Weequays had stolen his bounty for the last time.  Turk Flaso and his crew and his crew had been holding up in the abandoned spice refinery.  Pram slipped past the booby traps and snuck in through the old galley entrance.  There they were, having a good ol’ time celebrating pulling one over on him.  Slowly and methodically he set up his heavy repeating blaster, Bertha.  Bertha would show those lousy Weequays a thing or two … yes, he would.

Head is from some demon figure I got at a Chinese import store.  The torso is from a Chap Mei Warr figure.  The arms and hands are from a Chap Mei Ninja Fighter figure.  The legs are from a Chap Mei Space Quest Mission Squad figure with the pistol holster made from a back pack strap from some other figure.  The gatling gun is from a Final Faction weapon set.

R2-LNK “Lunk” – Heavy Astromech Droid

R2-LNK was so clean and shiny the day he was bought, that Captain Sprigs was almost afraid to send him down into the bowels of the transport ship.  Sprigs ran a small operation, but he knew the Heavy Astromech was a good investment.  A topnotch Big Boy Astro with the right programming could keep ad ship running long after it should have given up and died.  And R2-LNK provide his worth a dozen times over.  An Astomech is always worth the money … always.

Head is SW R2-D2.  The torso is a M.A.R.S. Cybotronic robot figure.  The arms and legs are from Mega Bloks Skylander Swarm figure.  The welding torch if from a  Final Faction weapons set, no sure where the bolt cutters came from.

R2-T-Bob – Astromech Droid – A Star Wars/M.A.S.K. Mashup

It was R2-T-Bob’s job to protect young master Scott.  He had been programmed to do so by the boy’s father, General Trakker.  But Scott was a precocious boy, and not above bending his father’s rules to have a little fun.  And that is how they ended up being held hostage by the crime lord known as Mayhem.  Luckily General Trakker had fitted R2-T-Bob with a few tricks that might just let them escape.  It would be up to R2-T-Bob, loyal droid and protector!

Head is from a M.A.S.K. T-Bob figure.  The torso and legs are SW R2-D2.  The little eye on the top of the head is a peg from a Mastermind board game.

Resneek – Roylan Mechanic – A Star Wars/Star Trek Mashup

The engines of the cruiser were a nightmare when Resneek arrived.  How had they been allowed to reach such a state?  Admiral Raddus had been far too lenient with his prior engineer.  It was going to take a 2 weeks of hard work to get the Profundity back in fighting shape.  And what was he hearing now?  They would be heading into combat again within the hour.  Resneek told the old Mon Calamari the ship wasn’t ready for that, but Raddus wouldn’t hear it.  So Resneek patched it together and hoped it would hold until they could get I to dry-dock after they got finished at Scarif.  Fingers crossed.

Head is a Kre-O Star Trek Keenser.  The body and legs are from a Dino-Riders Sting Figure.  The arms are from a Fallout Vault Dweller figure and the hands are SW Clone Trooper.

Sen Quinzo – Mandalorian Warrior

Sen Quinzo was the last of his house.  Wiped out by clan Vizla for refusing to swear allegiance to the damned Empire.  It was an easy thing for him to pledge himself to clan Kryze and plan to retake Manda’lor.  Sen Quinzo was never one of the heavy font line fighters.  His skills lied in stealth and the close kill.  Opting for lighter beskar and a silent running jet pack, he led reconnaissance and recovery missions for the forces of Bo Katan.

Head is Pirates of the Caribbean Sao Feng.  Torso, arms and legs are GI Joe Alley Viper figure.  The armor and harness are from a GI Joe figure.  The helmet and Jetpack are SW Jango Fett,

Shaba Kingdo – Skrilling Bounty Hunter

When the skip traces run, they always think they can get lost in the wastes of Jakku.  But Shaba Kingdo knows those wastes better than anyone. He knows all the best spider holes and secret lairs out there.  He knows the ins and outs of all those imperial wrecks and rebel crash sites.  What he knows more than anything else is what it takes to survive in the wastes.  Runners are never prepared for how that desert saps the water from you, and how little food there is to find out there.  A little patience and most of those bounties come to you, just begging for a little water.  Easy pickings.

Figure - Head is SW Pote Snitkin.  The arms, torso and pelvis are from Fortnite The Visitor.  The legs are from a Fortnite Tempest figure.  He has a katana from a GI Joe Snake Eyes figure and the rifle is from a Boba Fett Disney Infinity figurine.

Speeder – The main body is a C.O.R.P.S. Speed boat,  The hood is the gang plank from a SW Millenium Falcon.  The engines are from a Super Hero Adventures Iron Man Starship.  The attached pack and satchel are from Disney Atlantis figures and the pipes are from a SW ASP-7 figure

Tartaro – Nephran Jedi

Tartaro did not enjoy fancy parties, but here he was at the Senatorial Gala anyhow.  He had three of his fellow Jedi had been charged with security following and assassination attempt on the chancellor.  Tartoro did not like the Chancellor.  This was something more than his disdain for politician and their petty games … there was something wrong about him.  But he had been trained to be mindful of his feelings and disciplined to follow his orders.  So Tartaro waited at the party when the Chancellor and Skywalker slipped away, Master Windu hot on their heels.

Head and claws are Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Crustacean.  The Torso, legs and upper arms are SW Anakin Skywalker.  The lower arms are SW Count Dooku.  His light saber/spear is a plastic cocktail fork, which I find infinitely funny for a crawdad alien.

Yata – Togruta Thief/Junker

Life was hard on Shili after the Empire took over.  The Torgruta were so happy to throw off the Separatist yolk, they had nothing left when the Empire’s heel replaced it.  It was in this world that Yata learned to survive.  Quick hand and quick feet were always best, but a blaster made the difference between life and death on those mean streets.  She might not have much, but she had carved out a life, free of the slavers and free of the gangs.  With enough time and enough luck she could be passage off this dead world .. maybe sign onto a smuggler crew … maybe make a life.  There was always hope.

Head is SW Asoka Tano.  The torso, arms & legs are SW Episode I Anakin Skywalker.  The holster is from a  SW Rey figure and the pistol is from a Minimates Lost in Space Dr Smith figure.

Zobragus Tel – Noc’Sagian Bounty Hunter – A Star Wars/DC Comics Mashup

Zobragus Tel would get paid or there would be hell to pay.  He had tracked that lousy Aqualish across three worlds, but finally caught him in that box canyon of Cordata 12.  Yes, the bounty had said alive, and yes, the bounty was now dead.  But that was the fault of Payers security droid, not Zobragus.  This slimy Nikto was going to try and trick Zobragus, and that was not happening.  Drawing down on the Payer Zobragus made it clear what he was owed.  When the payer smiled and the droids rushed him, Zobragus knew this bounty had not been worth all the hassle … but he was still going to get paid!

The torso, big arms and legs are Green Lantern Galius Zed.  The robot arms are from a Terminatior T-800.  The back pack is from a Fortnite A.I.M. Robot.  The skull is from a Showdown Bandit figure and other greebles from SW and GI Joe figures.

Wow, 24 new customs. So awesome. I can't pick a favorite. I love your back storeis too. Like the one padawan whose master told her to run, but she loved him. Noice!

Off to the front pages with your update and your auction link. I hope you don't mind I added it to the front of your post. I also noticed you had some really good deals there too.

Love the Moronsters! What a great concept - they were really fun. I like this last batch of Star Wars, too. The vehicles were a great addition and turned out nicely - you must have a huge fodder box! There are a lot of great figures in here - the pit droid bounty hunter is great, the Tognath Jedi turned out well, as did Keela, and I really like what you did with Galius Zed - I've got him sitting in my fodder box just waiting for inspiration. Really nice job with this round.

Back from the dead ... I finally got some new figures made.

eBay Link for Moronaram Customs

BB-D2 – Astromech Droid Operative

In the years between the Fall of the Empire and the Rise of the First Order, Senator Organa commissioned a special group of operatives to keep tab on the rising forces of authoritarianism.  The Yan-Koda moved with great secrecy to try to delay and disrupt the remnants of the Empire as they sought to gain a new foothold in the galaxy.  BB-D2 was one of many droid operative programmed for espionage, sabotage and if necessary, assassination.

Head is a SW Galaxy of Adventures BB-8.  Torso and legs are SW R4-P17.  The blaster is from a SW Rebel Pilot with the sight cut off.

BGD-0-PR “Grasshopper” - Security Droid

BGD-0-PR sat along time in the belly of the Sandcrawler before it was unloaded to that off-worlder from Yam’ril picked him up for a song.  The Master rebuilt, reprogrammed and repainted the BGD unit and Grasshopper was born.  Designed to make best use of his enhanced dexterity, the Master made him and expert in unarmed combat and small arms.  What the Master was killed by the son of a local crime lord, Grasshopper plotted and executed a scorched earth revenge.  He now travels from world to world acting as a hero for hire to those in need, seeking his Master’s lost homeworld and family.

Head is from a Minimates Lost in Space Robot figure.  The torso and arms is from a M.A.R.S. Heroes Cybotronix Create & Build robot.  The legs are from a SW Super Battle Droid.

Caulus Allat – Aqualish Jedi Knight

Caulus Allat missed the deep water of his homeworld.  He had not been there since he was a child, but like some among his people a race-memory ran deep through is psyche.  He relished any assignment the council sent him on that let him near the water, but his dreams were filled of Ando.  This was his struggle to bear, the attachment he tried to break in his Jedi Vows.  It clouded his focus at times like these and it was the water he saw in his mind as the Sith Assassin struck him down.

Head and hands are SW Black Series Ponda Baba.  The rest is SW Obi Wan Kenobi.

DST-4040 – Service Droid

The lower levels of Coruscant require constant repair.  Busted coolant systems, leaky water recilmators, glitch environmental units … hell the lights alone could take a droid a year in just one block.  Skuzzy’s Repair holds the contract for Sector 7-G and DST-4040 is his go-to for the really difficult jobs.  He’s also a rolling billboard for Skuzzy’s services.  The people love good ol’ 4040!

The tracks and body are from a Dollar Tree tank and fueling station, the arms are SW C-3P0, and the eyes are a Halo modular armor piece.  The back pack is from a Kids Connection adventure figure set.  The screwdriver is Playmobil.

G’hu – Takron-Galtos Bounty Hunter – A Star Wars/DC Comics Mashup

After years working in the detention facility on Takron-Galtos, G’hu had had enough.  Low pay and dangerous conditions were just not worth it anymore.  So he befriended the inmate, Krogus Farr, bounty hunter and n’er-do-well doing 10 years for an unauthorized disintegration.  Upon his release, G’hu signed on with Krogus’s crew and set forth into the stars.  He makes his way now one body at a time.

The base figure is Green Lantern G’hu.  The helmet is a shoulder plate from a Marvel Iron Man.  The cape and belts are from a SW Chirrut Imwe.  The leg holster is a Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Boxer boot top.  The shield is Marvel Deathhead.  Can’t remember where I got the main gun, the pistol is from a Lanard CORPS! figure.

Grawtch – Ewok Rebel Pilot

Following in the footsteps of his Uncle Kettch, Grawtch signed up for the Rangers of the New Republic.  He’s a gifted pilot in his modified X-Wing, racking up a number of clever kills against Remnant Empire and pirates.  While he’s rubbish with a blaster, he was practically bourn with a knife in his hand so he carries a modified vibro blade for ground missions.  A childhood spend hunting in the forests of Endor have made him quick and quiet.  His fellow Rangers are always glad to have him around.

The base figure is a SW Vintage Collection Logray figure.  The armor is SW Stormtrooper breastplate and the rebreather is from an SW AT-AT Driver.  The helmet is from a SW Galactic Heroes Wedge Antilles.

Jacho – Klatoonian Rebel Pilot

Jacho could not wait to get away from the dry desolation of Klatooine.  He longed to get away, but unless you wanted to sign up with a Hutt Clan you were doomed to a life of moisture farming.  Jacho dreamed bigger.  He finally hatched a plot to sign up with the Hutts, but then escape and join the Rebellion.  Loaded onto a transport for Nal Hutta, he smuggled a transponder and signaled a Rebel friend.  The Rebels ambushed the transport, took the contraband and Jacho.  Jacho finally got his wish, but at the price of constantly being hunted by the Hutts.  Someday it will catch up with him, but for now he is free of Klatooine and loose to fly.

Head is SW Kithaba and the body is SW X-Wing Pilot figure.  Just a head swap.

Kreeza Olocto

Kreeza Olocto is one of fearsome, Olocto Sisters, a team of Nautolan bounty hunters feared though out the outer rim.  Kreeza is definitely to most alluring of the sisters, and she not afraid to use that to draw in her quarry.  She is vicious and a crack shot with a blaster.  Many poor fool has found that out the hard way.

The head is a SW Kit Fisto.  The body, arms and legs are Spylounge Agent Nikova.  The shoulder plates are from Roblox Imagination Silver Warrior.  The belt is made from some SW or GI Joe figure, the holster is from an Animal Planet adventure person.  The pistol is from the new SW Mission Fleet Boba Fett and the Rifle is from a SW Clone Trooper

Lon Borris – Belugian Bounty Hunter

Lon Borris knew he had been led astray by his informant the minute he crossed the threshold of the warehouse.  His sensitive ears heard the laser sensor send its signal the explosives hidden on the floor above.  It had been foolish to trust that lousy Ugnaught, but he was desperate to be done with this job.  And his desperation was about to earn him a building coming down on his head.  “Get desperate and you get sloppy”, his father’s words ran in his head as the fire and falling metal washed over him.

The head is an original sculpt on Apoxy Sculpt.  The body is SW Ki Adi Mundi.

Moolar Praun – Bulbora Bounty Hunter

Moolar Praun had been waiting in this foul little bar in the foul little spaceport for 12 days. Waiting for Boss Agrata to rear his ugly head.  The food was half rotten and the drinks were watered down, but here he waited.  His contact said that Agrata come out of his spider whole every week or so to resupply, and this was where he did his business.  Moolar counted at least two other bounty hunters lurking about the port, but none had found this crap hole tavern yet.  Just as he was about to call it a day, a short figure in dark robes slunk in from the side entrance.  The thing approached the barkeep and Moolar saw the unmistakable flash rings on the robed creature, most notably the red signet of the Crimson Dawn.  Boss Agrata could give up his affectations even in hiding.  Moolar checked the charge on his blaster rifle and stood up.  Time to go to work.

The head is an original sculpt on Apoxy Sculpt.  The body is Batman Firefly.  The belt is from a GI Joe Destro cut down and the sword is from Pirates of the Caribbean.  The rifle is from a Gears of War Samon Baird.

Palko-29 – Droid Mercenary

When the war ended on Corbus VI, they had no more need to the Palkos.  Most got reprogrammed and sent back to the mines or the quarries, and a few went off planet to become bounty hunters.  Palko-29 was a sniper unit, so bounty hunting only worked for him on the dead returns.  Instead he began to hire out on mercenary jobs, where he could do what he did best, kill from a distance and walk away.

The head I picked up somewhere I can’t remember and I don’t know the character.  Torso, arms and hands are Fortnite A.I.M. figure.  The legs and feet are a Gears of War Dominic Santiago.

Sargeeto Vermillion – Alien Thug

Sargeeto Vermillion had a face only a mother could love and only a fool could trust.  It certainly limited his options, so he entered into the glamorous world of thuggery.  He excelled at the veiled threat and was a crack-shot with a blaster.  He also had just the right amount of fluid loyalty to keep him gainfully employed with several bosses around the Mos Eisley area.

Head is from and A&A rubber vending machine alien.  The body, arms & legs are SW Luke Skywalker.  The body is made from SW Qui Gon Jin cape, cut down significantly.

Snoglot – Gamorrean Bounty Hunter

Snoglot is sickened by his soft and subservient brethren.  Snoglot would not be a slave to the foul Hutts or the Black Sun or the Crimson Dawn.  Snoglot would not let the slavers hold him, so he became strong and broke their chains.  Snoglot strangled that fat Zygerrian master with the chains that had held him.  Snoglot fashioned armor from his pitiful bones. Snoglot took the space ship and headed deep into the stars.  Snoglot would make is own destiny in the universe.

Head is from a SW Gamorrean Guard.  The body, arms and legs are Street Fighter Blanka.  I had to thicken the neck up to make it look right with Apoxy Sculpt.  The hands are from a Halo Spartan figure.  The armor is MOTU Skeletor.  The rifle is from SW Stormtrooper, pistol is from The Spirit the Octopus.  The axe is from a Mez-itz pirate and the knife is from a TMNT Fishface.

Blood Squadron

The Blood Squadron was formed from the remnants of the Green and Silver squadrons and reconstituted with several new pilots recruited from the outer rim. The Blood Squadron was tasked with striking Imperial Garrisons along the Outer Rim in order to liberate and recruit as many new planets as possible. They are led by a disgraced imperial captain who goes by the code name Hannibal. Many of the members of the squadron represent the last known survivors of their individual species.

Worf – Klingon B-Wing Pilot – Blood Squadron
A Star Wars/Star Trek Mash Up

The Empire thought they could harness the rage and prowess of the Klingon people.  Governor Kirk was assigned to the planet and began to manipulate their strong sense of honor to bind them into the service of the Emperor.  Unfortunately, the Klingons proved too unpredictable and after a renegade faction murdered Kirk’s son, he ordered planetary genocide.  Worf was one of a very few Klingons to escape the massacre, smuggled off world and raise mostly by humans.  He keeps his father’s bat’leth as a reminder of what the Empire did. He joined the rebellion at his first chance and quickly found his way into Blood Squadron, where he pilots one of the massive B-Wing fighters.  His battle prowess is nearly unparalleled, but his rage has almost got him killed several times.  As such he was paired with the Vulcan Spock whose cold calculations act as a check on Worf’s hot bloodedness.

Head is a Star Trek Next Generation Worf.  The rest is SW Kenner B-wing Pilot.  I had to hollow out the helmet from the B-Wing pilot head.  The bat’leth is hand sculpted out of Apoxy sculpt because I couldn’t find one in the right size.  The backer care is original art I made in Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator.

Spock – Vulcan B-Wing Pilot – Blood Squadron
A Star Wars/Star Trek Mash Up

The Vulcan’s were nearly extinct long before the Empire got to them.  An ages old rivalry with their sister world Romulus ended in the near complete destruction of both people.  Spock was raised in one of the refugee colonies by his Vulcan father and human mother.  After the Empire raided and enslaved the colony, Spock fled and joined the Rebellion.  Spock wears a mask of cold precise logic, but it belies a swirling ocean of anger and sadness underneath.  He did not originally seem a good fit for the Blood Squadron’s heavy B-Wing, but he has proven to a precise and logical tactician.  He acts as a calming influence to the Klingon Worf acting as his wingman in combat.

The head is a Star Trek the Motion Picture Spock.  The rest is SW Kenner B-wing Pilot.  I had to hollow out the helmet from the B-Wing pilot head.  The tricorder and phaser are from a Funko Reaction Star Trek figure.  The backer care is original art I made in Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator.

Perfect Tommy – Buckaroo Banzai

The Head is a GI Joe Dusty with hair made with Henkle multi-purpose cement.  The torso and pelvis are GI Joe ROC Storm Shadow.  The legs and upper arms are GI Joe ROC Cobra Commander.  The forearms are GI Joe Retaliation Joe Colton.  The jacket is GI Joe ROC Cobra Commander cut down with strips from a vinyl pool toy and hot glue used to make the shoulder pads.  The backer care is original art I made in Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator.

Another great batch! Theres are all really great and unique. I like the bb-d2 the parts fit surprisingly well. The grasshopper security droid is cool. I like the lost in space robot head, didn't know there was one in that scale. I think I watched Buckaroo Bonzai, that's pretty awesome.

Thanks JDeck.  I was shocked at how well the Galaxy of Adventure BB8 head fit on the standards R2 body.  The Robbie the Robot head is a Minimates.  That's also where I get my Alien Xenomorph heads.  They bad some Battle Beast heads that age good also.

Great new entries - and glad to see you back. I really liked the Trek crossovers. I have a Klingon I'm designing too, but I really like your backstories on both - and putting them in B Wing's totally makes sense. I also really like the design on Snoglot, BB-D2 and the G'hu character (using the Ironman armor for a helmet turned out really well!). Super creative!

Thanks, Starchaser.  I thought the Trek crossover turned out better than I expected.  I was afraid I was gonna get a lot of blow back from the Wars vs Trek crowd, but nothing.  I think Snoglot was my favorite build of the batch, but I was super happy with how will BB-D2 came out.

Bah’toro – Devaronian Smuggler

It is very rare for female Devaronians to be born with horns, and the ones that are have a reputation that goes hovers between blessed and cursed.  They rarely stay on planet when they reach age, seeking their fortunes away from the stigma of their own people.  So it was with Bah’toro, captain of the Burning Run.  She wasn’t afraid of a fight, but fights risk cargo and cargo risks money.  Fast and quiet was the name of the game, whether it was beating and Imperial blockade or finishing a cantina squabble.  Bah’toro always came out on top.

Head is Roblox Imagination Bec the Fire God with the chin shaved down.  The torso and legs are SW Barris Offee. Arms are SW Ahsoka Tano.

Bluefangs - Togorian Bounty Hunter

Bluefangs huddled behind the crate wondering how the quarry got the drop on him.  He know of course he had acted impulsively, rushing in without a full plan.  His Togorian blood lust got the better of him this time.  It didn’t help that he was in arears with the guild either.  Bounty hunting was a complicated business, indeed.  I could hear the bounty moving trying to flank him.  Bluefangs was torn … follow the same instincts that got him into this mess or try to logic his way to a solution.  The footsteps were closer and he could feel his hackles raising.  He felt his claws tense reflexively and could feel the prey nearing.  Maybe this would still turnout alright, dead or alive was the order, so a few scratches shouldn’t matter.

Head is DC Dex-Star.  Upper torso and arms are Fortnite Rough Agent, lower torso and pelvis are Fortnite Visitor, and legs are Fortnite Jones.

Greystack – Fu-lum Jedi – A Star Wars/Dragon Ball Evolution Mash Up

Rushing at full speed, Greystack lead the pursuing battle droids into the gully, and straight into the ambush.  But as he cleared the final turn there was something wrong.  The Clone Troopers were out of position.  They should be stacked up two deep waiting to waste the clankers, but nothing.  He could sense them, but not see them.  Then the blaster fire erupted and he head the droids going down behind him.  He spun to face the mechanical mob and aid in the clean up when he felt the first bolt tear through his shoulder.  Betrayal flashed in his mind and the number 66.  His confusion diminished as all things did when the remaining blasts severed him from his body.  Then there was the glowing light of the force and nothing else.

Head is original sculpt in ApoxySculpt.  The rest is SW Ki Adi Mundi.

IT-3P0 – Interrogation Droid

The rebel leader would give up the information one way or another.  The foolish man had been brought to the brink of death four times already, and every time IT-3P0 saved him.  While the droid was unconcerned with the man’s feelings, she was impressed by his resilience.  She would have to include the results in her scientific sub set results for future analysis.  Just as soon as the organ splicers were complete she could begin again, and statistically speaking the man was likely to provide the necessary information during this next round.  And if not, IT-3P0 was patient … infinitely patient.

Head is SW IT-O Interrogation Droid.  The body, arms & legs are Roblox Imagination Aven the Silver Warrior.  The wired mid-rift was made with ApoxySculpt and wired from an old set of iPhone head phone the cat chewed up.

Je'warret – Jawa Mercenary

There is a little known caste among the Jawas, one not known outside the clans, the Kshatriya Warret … the heavy warrior.  Only the very strongest of the younglings are taken from the crawlers deep into hidden caves where they are trained on the use of heavy weapons and armor.  Then they are returned to defend the clan from outside threats.  So it was to be with Je-Warret, but when he returned to his clan on Tatooine, they had been slaughtered by Imperial Stormtroopers.  Without a clan, Je’Warret found his way to Mos Eisley and then to the stars.  Here he traded his fearsome skill with weapons for coin and a chance to kill Empire troops.

Head is Warhammer 40K Chibi Skitarii Ranger.  Upper torso is SW Clone Trooper.  Arms and cloth skirt are SW Zuckuss, Lower torso is Fosrtnite Teknique.  Legs are Zak Storm Crogar.  The heavy repeater blaster is from a Roblox Noob Attack Mech Mobility with a Playmobil cable and Fortnite back pack.

Karrlos - Lepi Jedi

Karrlos, Jedi Knight of the Republic, had just about enough of this nonsense.  He had been sent to Kirdo III to settle a disagreement among the Kitonak rulers that threatened to end in civil war.  But here he was a week later trying to negotiate a settlement with the Musician’s Guild that would lead to a peace with the Mining Collective, which would resolve issues with the Docking Union, at which point the nobility would feel free to begin their own negotiations.  The Kitonak made the Hutts seems simplistic in the convolutions.  But it was finally done and Karrlos and Guild were ready to sign.  “And who will be paying the Machinist Horde’s fee?” one of them asked, and Karrlos’s stomach sank.  This would never end.

Head is PVC Bugs Bunny figurine.  I had to carve apart the ears and trim down the teeth.  The eyes and eyebrows were made with ApoxySculpt.  The hands are SW Black Series Ponda Boba.  The rest is SW Clone Wars Obi Wan Kenobi.  The light saber was made from a clear orange cocktail fork.

Lubella Fahlsin - Zygerrian Bounty Hunter

When the slaves ran, it was Lubella’s job to follow.  Couldn’t have the filthy wretches getting away, not when there was so much money to be made.  This was the Zygerrian way.  Capture if you can, maim if you can’t, kill if you have to.  So it was no-thing to hunt bounties when the Jedis destroyed the slave market.  The principles were the same.  Better than facing the penal colonies or being a debtor to the Hutts as many of her kind did.  One had to watch ones back though, Zygerrians had reputation for cruelty and bondage.  Best to work from a distance and stick to the rules.    Capture if you can, maim if you can’t, kill if you have to.

Head is Treasure Planet captain Amelia.  The rest is DC Catwoman.  The belt and swords are GI Joe Snake Eyes.

MA-6 Protocol Droid

MA-6 wondered if he could get back into cold storage.  It had to be better than the endless droning of this gasbag senator.  A memory wipe might help, but he was sure his personality matrix would come to the same conclusion within minutes.  Senator Gofallus was an idiot … and a pig.  He needed less of a protocol droid and more of a social housekeeper to keep cleaning up his messes.  He could not remember them, but he was sure he previous owner had been a class act.  He had been built to help class acts.  Cold storage  sounded better and better every day.

Head is from TMNT Krang Surprise Minifigure.  Torso is SW MaQuarrie Concept C-3P0.  Arms are Marvel Iron Man and legs are Marvel Ultron

Palko-19 – Bounty Hunter Droid

When the war ended on Corbus VI, they had no more need to the Palkos. Most got reprogrammed and sent back to the mines or the quarries, and a few went off planet to become bounty hunters.  Palko-19 was requisitioned along with 5 other heavy Palkos by and formal General be for he left planet.  The general turned criminal boss used the Palkos as muscle until he ran afoul of the Crimson Dawn.  Palko-19 was the only part of the group to survive the encounter and with few other options, hired himself out to Crimson Dawn running down debtors.

Head is Fortnite Long Shot.  Torso, arms & hands are Fortnite A.I.M. figure.  The legs and feet are Gears of War Dominic Santiago.  The rotating cannon is from Final Faction, I had to sculpt out the muzzle openings with a Dremel.

Pann Drecco - Seisopto Bounty Hunter

Seisoptico was a glorious planet.  Clean beaches, clear water, temperate climate.  Until the Empire came.   They stripped the land, blackened the seas and what was temperate became sweltering desert.  The Seisopto could no longer stay and scattered tot he stars on great colony ships.  But the Empire's new galaxy was not welcoming to newcomers, and pirates and scammers quickly diminished the people's ranks.  With no other choices, many like Pann Decco turned to crime and bounty hunting.  A tough life for a people who had already lost so much.  This was the way of the universe now, the Pax Galactica.

Head is an original sculpt in ApoxtSculpt.  The rest is SW DJ.  The sheath is from Hobbit Bilbo, the knife is Lanard CORPS!.  The pistol is GI Joe Barroness and the rifle is Star Wars.

Queellah – Rodian Rebel Commando

Queelah does not remember a time before she was part of the Rebellion.  Fleeing Rodia in the night, her father took refuge with the Rebel Alliance and in turn they became soldiers.  Heavy weapons became her toys and drills became her play.  Queelah lived and breathed the cause.  Now racing towards the forest moon she could feel the resolution to her life's pursuit drawing near.  Victory was at hand!

Head is from a SW Resistance OVC Figurine.  The rest is True Heroes Blindside.  The rifle is SW POTF2 Death Star Gunner.

R2-S0DA – Astromech Refreshment Droid

Hey, kiddo!  Are you thirsty?  Well how about a Swall-O Cola?  Just locate one of out convenient to access and specially programmed Refreshment Droids!  Just a few credits and your be sailing away on the see of sweet bliss.  Don't forget to SWALL-O!

The body is a soda machine that came with an AMT Tip Top Shop Garage Accessory Model Kit.  The legs are from a SW Astromech Build-a-Droid.

R5-1R0N – Heavy Astromech Droid

Program report: R5-1R0N did it again today.  He abandoned his duty station to “save” two other droids from being “torn limb from limb” while they were being transported to the maintenance shed.  This is now his fourth “hero incident.”  Data logs indicate he has also taken to calling his fellow Heavy Astromech “Cap” and requesting he be called “Tony.”  In addition to this he makes “pew pew pew” noises while removing  debris from the mining shaft as well as “swooshing” noises while “flying” from task to task.   Requesting clearance for memory wipe and demagnetization fo personality matrix.

Head is SW R5-D4 Droid.  The torso and arms are M.A.R.S. Heroes Cybotronix Create 7 Build figures.  The legs are Halo Mega Bloks Covenant Hunter figure.  The wrench is from a Fortnite Jules figure.

Ragad Nale – Vulptereen Bounty Hunter

No one was ever watching the small guy, and that's how Ragad Nale liked it.  When that axe came out, they were always so surprised.  When they flame burner came out, they screamed.   Life was fun sometimes!

Head is SW Dud Bolt.  The torso and arms are Zak Storm Crogar.  The legs are Zak Storm Clouis.  The tunic bottom is from GI Joe Kamakura and the belt is Pirates of the Caribbean Jack Sparrow.  The scarf is sculpted in ApoxySculpt.  The burner is from a DC Firefly figure and the axe is Pirates of Darkwater Joat.

Buckaroo Banzai

Head is SW Luke Skywalker.  The torso and legs are Transformers Sam Witwicky.  Arms are from an Indiana Jones figure.  The gun belt is SW Tobias Beckett and the revolvers are GI Joe Retaliation Joe Colton figure.  The Backer card is original art assembled using Adobe Photo Shop and Illustrator.

I put the two I liked the most on the front pages, but that Devornian Female Smuggler was awesome too. You come up with some great customs.

I mean that Jawa with some serious firepower is fantastic! I could so see that Soda Astromech showing up in a Cantina or Sail Barge. Just great stuff.

Off to share it and your auctions on the front pages.
