For anyone that was waiting on them, the "Hammond Collection" Tyrannosaurus Rex is beginning to hit Targets in NE NJ.

I picked this up for a friend after work today from the Target in Clifton.

The retail is $49.99+tax ($53.30 total in this area).

I have so many Rexes already I doubt I will ever buy another. This one is tempting though.

Does Mattel do as many repacks as Hasbro with these? New pose and new box and pass it off a store exclusive?

Mattel at least repaints their dinos instead of just repacking them in most cases. There has been the odd straight repack though, but rarely more than once a year or so.

The Hammond Rex is a brand new mold though, head to tail. Just like all of the Hammond Collection figures.
