If anyone knows where I can find a BMF for cheap? I really need another one. I was luck to find one at a flea market in Ohio for $15 bucks. Any way plaese and thank you guys.

any hints on what your using to make them?

I said hey that would make a great long range recon speeder, For clones,strom/snowtrooper, or even some jedi. Now the hard bit, I need to find something to replace the wheels or once i have them off I'' see what it looks like then add if i don't like it with stuff.

I just painted it today, put it back together and had to share it you guys. I also have a S.R.S ( Shadow-Recon-speeder). I'm not that happy with it but, I'll let you guys have a look any way.

I used citadels chaos black, I'm going to add some stripes to it as well, Then I need to add an emblem, control panels and maybe pin up nose art Some where o it .

And the fact that I have more then just storm troopers, scout troopers , clones, and Jedi riding the speeder is this: I wanted a speeder that could be used by every one not just the Imperials

The paint job is slick too.

I got the X-wing Guns off the Sand trooper pole weapon, I just cut that bit off. :)

The vehicle is from the target nock off of the joe line, Think action heroes or something like that. I hope you have a Target near you?
I'm thinking of picking up some more. Check out page 2 to see the WIPs. Or here's a pic of the speeder before I got my hands on it.

Only suggestion:

It's big enough it looks like it could support a passenger. If there where some sort of stand at the very back, you could have a gunner for the gun mounted up top.

The engines really completed this thing though and it looks great.

Thank you, On my next one I may take that suggestion, Only I may turn it in to a side car like speeder. The back of this one has more engine that standing, then again I may add one of those figure stand. melt it, glue it, or screw it on.

And I don't like to many things that can bit you and kill you, Here in Maine We only have one kind of poisons spider. In Ohio there's I think about 15 different snakes and spiders. But yeah I like it here. I just wish that Spring would get here so I can go back to all my toys and girlfriend.

The colours scheme is great and your weathering is fantastic!! I also have to give you major credit for the droid, which also looks superb. Overall, i would die to have this vehicle LOL!! I haven't had a chance to go through all of your customs yet but the most recent set with the striking blue striped livery are just superb.

The mouth details and other graphics on the walker really give this piece character - basic black demands extra care and attention with details to make it appealing and you have definitely delivered.

How easily did the Helix upper torso mate up with the scout lower? That is a great match-up that I'll be borrowing in the near future, I'm sure. Does the scout helmet fit easily on her head?

On their blasters, I assume those are doctored MP-5's from the Joes I see in some places, but her rifle... Is that a doctored G-36? Hats off to you on taking Joe guns and turning them into blasters that don't end up looking like hacked-up real-world guns. Your results are far better than most I've seen. If you don;t already know about them, check out marauderinc.com for obscenely awesome weapons. I'm gonna have to hand over one of my paychecks to them soon...

To Doc. Thank you, The helix upper torso needed to be cut down sum to fit the lower scout half, But it was a pain in the ass to keep her together. I think hot glue was the wrong glue to use. As for her head. No her hair is to big to fit the scout helmit, She now has two heads. I had to use another helix head and cut the hair off to fit the helmit, then I glued the head into the helmit. The guns are thanks to S.Fett, he said to cut the clips off the joe guns to make them look like blaster, So I did.

To Sprywalker. I used brush over spray, Cause I had no spray. And not to toot my own horn, But Toot toot. I'm that good with both. LOL.

To every one else thank you all for the great feedback on my customs. I am working right now on a new speeder, I should have it done by this weekend if not before. So please keep your eyes open. And may the force be with you all.

To Iambonspit. The speeder is the same kind of toy as my long rang speeder, I hope u have a Target in your town. Thats where I got thesse toys from. Here a pic of both speeders, It's a kock off line of Gi-joes called Fearless Forces and you can only get them from Target.

Now here's the thing, all names posted well be put into a hat, you can post as many names as you can think of. when I have 20 or more names, I'll have a drawing and the winner gets 4 Cw clones 2 clean white, and 2 drity.(sorry they have the old helmets). Plus where do you think the nose art should go on the ATST . Well post pics after thesse 2 pics.

So now here are the names for the drawing

Still a great start, 15 more and I can start the drawing. 5 would work be 20 is a nice number.

I don't think they'd use a technical name other than At-St, because essentially it is a re-purposed at-st correct? The just took the existing vehicle and customized it into a wookie-hunter (btw you do realize that there is an established "wookie hunter" at-st already created in the expanded universe? it has big giant gun "arms" on each side!)

so... I'd call it something wookie related or something like a pet name for it (kinda liked leggy, that's great)

they could call it their "adenn ad'ika" or merciless darling

Post by: jediwolf69 on January 13, 2011, 08:44:42 AM: here's a new wip of a speederbike that i'm working on for my female mando. She wanted her landspeeder painted pink!!!!. Her Husban said no, So he placed an add on the holnet and found a used bike for her to fix up and paint.........Pink.

Well I stated by sanding it down, then Painted a flat grey coat. then sanded some more, taped off the parts that i did not want silver and am now getting ready for the black and pink couts of paint. I should have this done by the weekend.....Maybe.

Here is an up date on the pink.....................bike, still can't get over the pink. I still need to add the nose art but here it is.

Thanks Doc! I used Krylon primer gray spry paint for the undercoat and then hit it with a lite coat of Krylon Flat black.

It's unfortunately about 4,000 km away back home while I'm out west working. I can't wait to be done work and have some time off to finally start playing around with customizing stuff, but I'm loving getting ideas and inspiration from all of the cool customizers on this site. Your Mando fighter looks sweet dude!

I wanted a more classic look, it still needs a lot of work and I should have it done sometime this April, I also have a custom Humvee for my G.I. Joes, plus a repainted Luke Skywalker's land speed and I will be posting photos of these vehicles in just a bit. So please enjoy and I get back from Florida have a great week.

thanks for the front page, as for the landspeeder, I used one of those clear card boxes to do the floating effect, then again I was going to use Vaseline on the lens of the camera, but decided not to. Thanks again Shawn.

hey Rex , I used woodland scenic Flex paste, Water effects, and soft flake snow sn140. I use them all to make the at-rt all smowy.
