![]() ISY: If the opportunity arises, is there any chance of coming to Australia for any future Conventions? JB: Most certainly if one could co-ordinate various events as it is a long way to go. ISY: There has been talk of making the Sequel Trilogy for years (from fans, mostly!). Would you like the Star Wars movies to continue, or are you fine with them being finished? JB: As far as films are concerned I think that should be it - but the TV series could be interesting. ISY: Do you have a room or a shelf of any of your Star Wars memorabilia? How many Star Wars items (aproximately) do you have? JB: Too many to count, and yes I am running out of shelf and floor space! ISY: What are your favorite items from your personal collection? JB: A Randy Bowen bronze statue and a recently aquired Boba Fett costume made by the Dented Helmet. ISY: Which toy of any company has made your favorite rendition of Boba Fett? JB: A very difficult question to answer as there are so many different designs and shapes of Boba Fett. ISY: Have you been contacted about any possible roles in the new TV Live Action Show that is coming out? JB: No, not as yet, but I am very busy here in the UK filming. ISY: To what great lengths have any fans gone through to communicate or get an autograph from you. Any tales of crazed fans? JB: One Japanese fan travelled 200 miles to present me with a Boba Fett watch for my birthday. ISY: To what length do you see Boba Fett continuing to be a part of the expanding Star Wars story? JB: I fully expect him to be in the TV series as he is such a popular character. ISY: You've played many great roles over your acting career. Where does the role of Boba Fett rank in that list for you? JB: Very high, although it is one of the smallest parts I have every played. ISY: You were given the role of Boba Fett after reading for the part, as you've stated in many interviews, but was that the role you were after, or was there another role you wanted more? JB: I never actually read for the part for as you know Boba Fett was a man of very few words. I did fit the costume however, so got the part - it was as simple as that. ISY: What do you consider to be your greatest achievement in acting? JB: To still be working as an actor having started out at the tender age of 12. ISY: Who are some of your favorite directors/producers to work for? Why? JB: My favourite directors were Leslie Norman on 'Spare the Rod' and 'The Pathfinders' and Lindsay Anderson on 'O Lucky Man', and also Alvin Rakoff on 'Hoffman'. ISY: What is your dream role, past, present, or future? JB: My dream role would have been to work on a western film - I can just imagine walking down the street with gun in holster, ready to capture the bad guys! ISY: The Dented Helmet presented you with a custom-made set of Boba Fett, which looked fantastic. What did that mean to you? Did it fit like the armor from the actual film, or did it fit better? Do you have it displayed on a mannequin, or in some other way? JB: As mentioned earlier the costume is very dear to me as so many people were involved and gave their time to producing it. It was in fact a better fit than the original. I will be displaying it as soon as I obtain a suitable mannequin, and hope to wear it at some charity event soon. ISY: Of the many conventions you've been a part of in the past, which city has been your favorite to visit and why? JB: Indianapolis is the perfect city for a convention as everything is within walking distance ( We British like to walk!) ISY: Besides the obvious, who is your favorite character in the Star Wars universe, and why? JB: Han Solo as I think he very similar to Boba Fett. ISY: What's next on the horizon for Jeremy Bulloch? JB: Several TV shows are about to be aired here in the UK, and I am presently working on a BBC medical drama. Our many thanks go out to Jeremy Bulloch for taking the time to answer our questions for us, and we wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors! |
