"To complete this piece I found a string of LEDs to use to illuminate the ground floor. Once I got all the LEDs in place, I realised I had two left in the string of 20 which finished next to the computer console. This gave me an idea, I added a third pipe to the front of the console and second I created a hole within the centre round screen to the other side, I then used hot glue to cover the top of the pipe and the console and inserted the LEDs into them, thus giving the console some little internal light."

"Scored these cool "Party Shot Glass Rings" at Dollar Tree.
The grey rings are removeable and I think the top pieces will make for interesting cargo crates once painted up. I my go back and get a few more sets."

This is a fan made edit for the origin of the X-Wing Fighter.

"WIP painting update
Today's work started the painting floor of the 1st floor, painting the panels of both sides with a light grey, I used a black wash over all the metal work and into the recesses of the walls and floor. I then used a brown wash on the two floors, the recesses of the outside of the door and in areas of the walls. Using Games Workshops Auric Armour Gold I went over the Aquilla on the door, the 4 gold birds and the gold skulls."

"These skeletal creatures were found in the Halloween section of Walmart. They are $4.98 each.
They have screw holes all along one side, like Chap Mei and other lower value toylines so I photographed their good sides ;)
The Gryffin and Velociraptor feature swivel heads and hinged jaws. The Triceratops only has the hinged jaw (this is the least impressive of the 3 due to not having any form of visible neck, looks like a turtle pulling its head in :( ). All 3 feature bendy tails (rubber with a wire running through it).
They are decently sized as seen in the images below with a 4" "Fortnite" figure to show their scale."
They look perfect for the 3.75" line to me.

"The original arrangement allows up to 8 floors. The maximum possible amount of floors in this cabinet is 5 for 3.75" action figures. But the boards that came with it, are too thick. So I could only fill 3 floors properly with action figures.
Therefore I decided to gain the missing two floors by replacing the boards with thinner ones. I also made them 5 mm wider. So I ended up with dimensions of 77 x 7.4 cm and used MDF of 4 mm thickness."

"Painting has begun! First, the entire piece was given a black undercoat, and then a coat of grey was added to the walls and floor. The door was sprayed with gold and then a darker grey was used for the frame. That grey will be used for the arches and pillars. The console and pipes have been given a silver base coat.
The next step is to add dark grey to the arches and a metallic grey to the borders."
It is looking nice!

"WIP diorama update
I have spent time casting skulls and an emblem from Games Workshop scenery and Joytoy figures and placing them on the set as you would find them on a piece of Warhammer 40K scenery. Apart from tidying up the top of this piece, it is now ready to be painted."

"The CIS fun continues. Thought you might like a wip pic:
I removed the shade that was applied to the VC78 B1 Battle Droid. It now matches the head that wasn't shaded in the factory for some odd reason.
The Super Battle Droid is used as well and came with some scratches already. The paint remover solves the surface of the plastic, too. So I decided to sand it.
It's a test run for the Droideka. Both will be fun and join the Imperial Army. I hope you'll like them. And before I repaint a Crab Droid, I thought I give a Tri Droid a try."
I would say he is well on his way to some great results.

It's been raining here for the past couple days and I'm thankful for every raindrop. Perfect weather for some customizing! And while the paint is drying on my latest projects, I thought I'd share some pictures of a custom I made a while ago.
This is just a simple repaint of the Ugnaught from The Legacy Collection."

"One new goon and a very mild revision. First is Gela Yeens:
After prepping all the joints and stripping the factory paint, I sprayed the torso and arms with Hi-Tech "Brown" so there wouldn't be a color difference between the base red and beige parts later. Then I sprayed the torso, arms, and lower tunic with Hi-Tech "Off-White," the legs with HT "Brown," the vest with HT "Cappuccino," and the belt/bandoleer with HT "Tan." I dry-brushed the boots with Testors "Leather," and gave the vest a wash with a mix of Vallejo "Iraqui Sand" and "Flat Earth." The neck got a mix of Testors "Skin Tone Tint Base - Light" and "Skin Tone Warm Tint."
Also made a minor change to Vul Tazaene, replacing his brass bracelets with leather bracers. They were cut, drilled, and sanded from a KOTCS Russian soldier's boots. Stripped the paint, sprayed them with HT "Brown," then dry-brushed them with Testors "Leather" and added "Brass" details."

"Vehicle Parts: TCW Corporate Alliance Tank Droid Visor Resin printed
It took a few weeks longer because there were some issues with the print. I was the first dude to buy these resin parts from him and he sent me some wip pics. If I understood it correctly, there were some issues with the connection of the visors. So he adjusted the measurements."

I have finished off the foam work detailing by carving bookshelves into the two alcoves on the first floor, I've also added Eagle reliefs which at the top corners of the arches.
The next steps are to start casting skulls to sit in different locations around this piece while also adding LEDs."

Clone Troopr is back with an Old Republic Update...

"Here's my live-action-styled interpretation of my Old Republic smuggler character Aeriinn Fel. I purchased the head from eBay but had to repaint the eyes and some of the lips/skin because of imperfections. I also painted the hair white.
For the body, I used Cassian Andor. I cut off the collar and painted the jacket and arms white with a black trim.
Then to give it a SWTOR vibe, I added some blue "lights" to the belt and blaster.
Enjoy!"

"WIP diorama update!
I've been working on the upper floor of this Warhammer 40K diorama. To start with, I have etched out a floor which is made up of tiles and girders. On the side walls, I have added a couple of arches with a sword emblem in the centre of each arch. In the back wall, I have placed two columns and added a relief pattern on either side of them."

"Hi All,
Space Wolves - Wulfen 7" scale.
Note - I have added to pics at the end to show what the figure looked like for painting and weathering.
Recipe.
Wulfen - is from Mcfarlane Toys and a Marvels Beast figure and I have to give a shout out to Pawel Rutkowski over on Mcfarlane Warhammer Repaints, Customs And Primaris Space Marines FB page for the inspiration. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1000912023720490/
The two figures were pulled apart for the parts I needed and once I got a pose I liked I superglued the joints and then puttied them up.
The axe/skulls/bones were 3D printed and the wolf tales were made using figure joints/plastic tube and fake fur, the rune stones were made using foam and the leather parts are strips of pleather cut to width. The symbols on the shoulder/knee armour were drawn on using a pencil then they were painted.
Base - is high density foam cut to shape and the rock is also high density foam which a pulled apart and then applied spakfilla to give it a more stone look and the snow is watered down spakfilla.

"Halo" Covenant weapons racks.
I modified the weapons in the same manner as the ones I used for my Grunt Mules by removing the posts and relocating them along the dorsal line to better fit into the racks (the smaller pistols on the bottom had posts added to them as they did not have them like the rifles do). In the game, the weapons are stored laterally but the racks in the game are wider than the toys so the weapons do not fit properly when placed in laterally."

"Here's a couple of straightforward (but a little fiddly) customs:
An Ithorian merchant (I haven't built a back story for him yet). I like this because it shows the basics for building a custom Mok Shaiz out of existing parts (though you might have to design a vocalizer) in case we never get one (oh...Scoundrel's Stock has a cast that works perfectly for the head also):
And...SA Mudtroopers:
I had to clip the breathing tubes from the backpack of the 5POA figures and glue them on. I'm still debating the cloaks. I may use little magnets to attach the plastic ones from the 5POA figures, but I'm also thinking about trying to replicate the cloak with actual material. We'll see."

"I've created a frame for around the door, 6 little alcoves which sit on either side of the arches and then finished off by creating an air vent which you see a lot of on Warhammer scenery and placed it within one of the arches."
