Even more TFA Products sighted...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, August 31 2015
At this stage of the game I am sure this isn't much of a surprise, but the Spectre sure doesn't have to wait till this Friday to score most, if not all, of the new TFA Products. I think the 5 POA is throwing him off a bit too, but I do appreciate his posting of new finds!

These pictures are from a set of purported TFA plans (stolen by Bothan spies no doubt) recently sold on ebay.

Ben Alius goes big...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, August 31 2015
"The last period I mostly build figures for the #Buildingtoysformyson project. Small stuff, quick builds, and expending my sons wooden galaxy rapidly. But now it's time to go for a bigger build. I like the small freighter spaceships like the Millennium Falcon very much. So I thought why not make one of my own?

Also I thought maybe it is nice to post some WIP pictures on this forum. So here is the first.

The ship is going to look something like the Millennium Falcon, but with my own design in it... Hope you guys like the shape..."

Well I sure like it, I can already notice the similarity to other SW Freighters. Look for us to follow this wip as he posts updates.

Ben Alius continues his DarthDays Project on Cartoonist: George Folz...

Mr. Jedi 1977 continues to amaze with his OTC Custom Updates...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, August 31 2015
"Jumping into this update with a question ! A while ago I had made an updated sa custom of Labria custom with a cape, customjedi had done that custom as well ,which is what made me go back and upgrade my original custom ! Now while we only see the character only for a split second we really have no clue what the rest of the outfit . He was released with a cape, now looking at a few pictures again I am not so sure he had a cape . So I am asking which you all think would be the definitive version of this character?"

Well I sure can't decide, but a cape always rocks! I really enjoyed his take on the Dianoga too. I probably spelled that all wrong to Mondays, but hey at least I am consistent. As for Mr. J77 he has given us a ton of great new customs to peruse.

Kualan is back with a new chapter, Tales From The Clone Wars lives!
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015
"Hello folks! As you may already be aware, I produce a fanmade comic series set during the prequel trilogy - Tales From The Clone Wars. This thread is where I'll be posting updates to the comic for its fifth volume! Hope you enjoy.

The opening issue of Volume Five is set entirely on the planet Kamino, and introduces us to two new original characters who will be the stars of this new story. So here is Issue One - Brothers In Arms."

Can you see me doing back flips from here? Well I am not sure I have ever done a back flip on land, but I am sure excited to see this series continued!

Mandalore25 is back with a new Jedi...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015
"Here's another jedi, this time a Mon Calamari. I just kinda picked up two colors, and ran with them for his skin, but I like the way it turned out. The orange lightsaber is actually a party pick, one of those little translucent plastic swords. Not as nice as a cast, but hey're a great, fast, and cheep way to get those odd colors like yellow, orange, and clear. If anybody is interested, he's listed here."

Glorbes finishes his Mad Max War Rig...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015
"Furiosa's War Rig: Phase 1

If you're wondering what Phase 2 is, it will be the big tanker that the War Rig pulls in Fury Road.

Anyway, I will still make some more adjustments and add more detail to this part once I have the film on Blu Ray (TUESDAY!!!), but I'm calling this "done" for now."

Talk about turning out fantastic, but since when aren't all of Glorbes' Projects like this?

Ghost Skull 18 creates a 6" Custom Royal Guard...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015
"Emperor's Royal Guard is made from a 6 inch black series Obi-wan , the cloth is cut and sewn by me , the head is from a 1983 pencil topper."

That sure turned out great! Make sure you click on through to see the off tunic image too.

Stan finishes up his General...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015
"General Dodonnna SA! Glad he done, now I'm can move on to reworking some of old but new customs! First up is Ariel Schous! Ps , just about done sculpting Bob Hudsol head! Readjusted Antilles shoulder, lot better from before."

I agree just a ton better! I can't wait to see what he is going to work on next!

JDeck completes his Bandai Y-Wing Custom...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015
"I weathered the heck out of this Y-wing. I wanted to get it as close to the Gold Leader reference pics as possible even though its much smaller than the studio model it still packs a lot of detail. Rebel ships and especially the Y-wing and Millennium Falcon are very dirty and weathered. I want to build a Yavin IV hangar base for this I think that would be cool."

Talk about selling me on these Bandai Kits! I don't think there is that type of quality in perhaps any other licensee other than Hot Toys right now. Fantastic!

Clone Crazy is back with a new chapter...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015
As you can see by the graphic above we are in for more great reading. I really enjoy reading this fan fiction in all its myriad forms.

Ben Alius gives us better pics of his X-Wing...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015

I am telling you I could so get into a line like this. His son doesn't have to worry about Force Friday as BA always is creating something new!

Darth Daddy creates a TCW Tarkin...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 30 2015
"This was a fairly quick custom that I made not too long ago with the head of a POTF2 Grand Moff Tarkin, and the body of The Clone Wars Admiral Yularen action figure. I sculpted some more hair onto the head and then painted the sculpt after drilling a hole into the bottom of the head to make it fit on the peg.

Captain Tarkin featured heavily in The Clone Wars both in The Citadel arc and during Ahsoka's trial. We thought Tarkin was more than worthy of a spot on The Clone Wars collection shelf. Hope you all enjoy!"

Wow, that looks fantastic. Leave it to DD and Elias to add another fantastic character to TCW Verse. And he is full of articulated goodness to boot.

Talk about a nice graphic!

"Yo! Long time lurker, first time poster...

My favourite way to customise figures is to kit-bash, partly because I'm terrible at painting or molding anything....

Here's what I've been up to."

He has really created some great combinations and I especially like the look of his new Bespin Gown Leia with a modified Hoth Leia head.

JDeck finishes his latest Bandai Build...
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, August 28 2015
"Well I finished this Interceptor. It really isn't bad for a kitbash. Especially since I wasn't sure if it would work. With the paint I wanted to try something different. So I basically gave it a TIE pilot look. I had fun building it. Weird thing is its cheaper to buy two Bandai kits than a Fine Molds Interceptor, since they lost their licencing."

I am telling you he has me sold on their kits. I can't wait to get their AT-AT. What a great way to get yourself a quality vehicle.

The Irish Rogue is back with new fan fiction!
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, August 25 2015
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Oasis Calm -- Volume V Pt. 1

“The greatest test of courage is to bear defeat without losing heart.”

Dooku’s voice carried over everyone’s state of surprise, “You fools! She’s a JEDI!!”

In that moment existed a brief pause. The separatists’ minds raced to find a next move, Bonteri suddenly bewildered by the revelation that the woman next to him was far more than she put on, then Secura who’s mission was now reaffirmed by the evidence before her."

Ant that is just the first paragraph folks!

Mandalore25 creates a new Sith...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, August 25 2015
"This is my Darth Wredd from the Legacy comics I made for a customer. Used an ep. I Kenobi head because it's the closest mach I had, but the imperial knight neck was too long, so I shortened it, then sculpt his neck piece around it. Did the head sculpt myself, but in the pics you can't really see any detail I did on it. Other than that it's an imperial knight repaint, with imperial navy commander lower legs."

He looks great to me. We all need more Sith in our lives. Well, Sith that articulate that is. I know I shouldn't start the day by whining.

JDeck reviews another Bandai Kit...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, August 24 2015
"This is the Bandai Y-wing without paint and/or decals. I didn't take as long as I thought to build it. Just a few hours, working off and on, all those pipes had to be individually placed. I left the engine cone on the port side off and assembled the landing gear, I want to build a Yavin maintenance/hangar display. I'm going ahead with Gold leader details, meybe next time I'll do G2 or Red Jammer. So I'll paint most of the details rather than use the decals. I'm liking these Bandai kits, I think I'll give Hasbro a rest for a while."

With what I have seen from the Big H, I may join him! These Bandai Kits seem awesome.

Ajunta Pall gives us a Tartakovski Update!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, August 21 2015
"Next up is something I've been wanting to do ever since I watched Tartakovski's The Clone Wars animated series. One of my favorite scenes from that show was when Anakin takes his final test and is given Tattoos by the Nelvaan high priest. I realized they Hasbro released a couple different versions of this figure, but I took it upon myself to do a version of my own. I hope you guys enjoy."

I think he did a bang up job. I miss that CW Series. In some ways I liked it better than the Filoni Series. Just saying.

Sjefke shows you how to make a free floating BB-8!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, August 21 2015
"We all saw the early reviews of bootleg TFA 6" BB-8. His head appears to be held in place by a double ball peg.
I had an idea on how to make a floating BB-8 head using magnets.

The idea uses 8 small rare earth magnets set in a circle all with the north pole facing up. I glued thwm into one of a spent red toy pistol blaster cap. If you put a larger strong magnet on the other side of a surface with the south pole facing the opposite direction as the small magnets, the large magnet is held in place but is centered in the middle.

If a customizer set the 8 magnets inside the BB-8 head and placed the bigger magnet in the ball body, the head could be potentially free floating. Now there are other details to work out like minimizing friction and attaching a heavy counter weight in the body so the head remains up right, but an ingenious customizer should be able to work that out."

Don't you just love customizers! Thank you Jeff for sharing your idea, I cannot wait to see you work this out. Customizers helping customizers is what ISY is all about!

Sounds like a fun time to me!

Ajunta Pall has some questions for Hasbro with his latest update...

"Not to beat a dead horse but...why couldn't hasbro do this? Mines at least has 12poa, ( hand sculpted head, soft goods cloak and robe and a custom lightsaber) SIMPLE. Why hasbro? You let us down. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the 3-3/4" black series version."

I couldn't have put it better myself. They say there is always hope, but I keep coming up with the words forlorn myself.

Stan is back with a new update already...

"Here was another hard one. The arms was tough part, upper part coming from rebel commando vintage collection and the lower part coming from Agen Kolar! The lower legs are from Han Solo the black series. The color are now screen accurate. The jacket is from the rebel commando, my first dye job! Thank Custom Jedi for suggest to iron the collar down, it works! Next up General Dodonna war room outfit!"

What a great version of this classic character.

More details on Star Wars Theme Park Expansion at Disneyland Resorts...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, August 18 2015
"Yes, the two Star Wars-themed lands are the biggest galactic additions to the Disney theme park, but they’re not the only interstellar adventures coming to the parks. In the next few months, a number of new Star Wars-related additions will be appearing at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. There will be a new location added to Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, based off of characters and locations from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Jedi Training Academy will allow younger fans to feel the Force, with new scenarios based on Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels. Additionally, later this year the Star Wars Launch Bay, an all-new interactive experience, will come to the Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Tomorrowland at Disneyland. There will be photo opportunities, previews of new games, artifacts from the films and testimonials from the filmmakers. (Upstairs in the same building in Disneyland will be an updated Superheroes HQ, featuring your favorite Marvel characters.) And the Season of the Force, based in part on the phenomenally successful Star Wars Weekends, will be a seasonal part of both domestic parks beginning in early 2016, with exclusive food, drinks, merchandise and entertainment. At Disneyland, Space Mountain will be transformed into Hyperspace Mountain, with new effects and music. And at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will experience a nightly fireworks show set to the classic Star Wars music."

Is it just a great time to be a Star Wars Fan or what! I cannot wait to see this completed and book my tickets. Click here to read the full reveal for Disney's Blog. There are definitely a lot more expansions than just Star Wars too (I guess we care about that other stuff?).

Disney announces details on Star Wars Lands!
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, August 17 2015
"Disney on Saturday announced expensive “Star Wars”-themed expansions at its California and Florida resorts. The pair of “Star Wars” lands, each 14 acres in size, will be built at Disneyland here and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a down-on-its-luck park that is part of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. Hollywood Studios will also get a new “Star Wars”-themed weekend fireworks show.

Mr. Iger said the new “Star Wars” areas — designed to look like “a remote trading port and one of the last stops before wild space” — would each have two major rides, a battle experience based on elements of “The Force Awakens” and an attraction that will put patrons behind the controls of the Millennium Falcon. There will also be a version of the franchise’s famed Mos Eisley Cantina in each location.

Disney hinted that guests would be able to smell “bantha fodder,” a food eaten by tusked creatures in the “Star Wars” films, and taste “blue milk,” an intergalactic drink."

Well that sounds like a great announcement to me! The image above is an artist rendering of what "An artist’s idea of what the Star Wars Launch Bay, a new attraction, will look like." Click here to read the full article.

Stan is back with an update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, August 17 2015
"Captain Antilles is composed of Agen Kolar arms, Han Solo the black Series knees and boots. The rest comes from the figure. Had to readjusted his neck and boot to get the proper proportions of height. Hasbro colors were so off on this figures ; so now is screen accurate. Put some semi gloss on the boots to make then shine. The hardest part was setting those shoulder joints. Overall I am pretty happy with results..."

He ought to be happy as the figure looks awesome.

Elias checks back in with an update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, August 17 2015
"For those active in fan forums, you are probably already familiar with the awesome diorama pieces that Hole In the Ground Productions offers to fellow collectors. Hole In the Ground's offerings are just too cool to not be part of any Star Wars 3.75? collection. Elias recently purchased and customized Hole In the Ground's new Robot Flipper. The item was a great way to embellish the Jabba's Droid Torture Chamber area of his shelf space when he added this newly created accessory. Elias used cinnamon to add the rust color to this piece. It looks great posed with Elias' custom super-articulated 8D8 droid that he made a ways back."

Click here to go check out the plethora of set offerings Hole in the Ground Productions offers for your action figures. In my opinion they are filling a much needed gap in our hobby!

New photos of Sideshow's Sixth Scale Speederbike...

Built for maneuverability, it features articulated foot pedals, engine flaps, and steering vanes to achieve the perfect action display, with or without pilot.

Mounted on a museum-quality base to complete the hover effect, the Sixth Scale Speeder Bike is an essential addition for recreating your favorite scenes from the Battle of Endor.

Check out our companion piece for this figure: Scout Trooper Sixth Scale Figure."

What can I say, it looks fantastic! They even have a bundle offer to get a discount if you get both. I sure don't see why you wouldn't want both!

"After several attempts at cape building, I was able to get my hands on some gray "deer suede" to complete Tessek."

I must say he has really kept after it to finish this one. I must say after seeing his process and going through all that trail he really finished this off nicely. It is so nice to see so much attention to getting soft goods correct.

JDeck finishes his TIE Diorama...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 16 2015
"My TIE fighter display is finished. I added some smaller asteroids made from melted foam, I didn't add plaster to them because I wanted them to seem weightless. I also painted them a slightly different color to contrast against the larger ones."

What a great project. Those asteroids coupled with that Bandai TIE Kit really look great.

I like the BOS Custom. I bet I will like the Boba Fett mash up too.

JDeck continues his TIE Diorama...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, August 15 2015
"Alright this is what I have so far today. I wanted to get the base asteroid done today but, well it didn't happen. I did get some of the mounts mocked up. It was a tremendous pain in the rump but, its looking cool. Not nearly done yet, but its getting there.

I'll add some small asteroids here and there, I've been using 1/8" acrylic rods to support them, its thin enough not to notice it right off, but just strong enough to support weight. I still need to adjust the supports to make them look neat, they're not invisible."

I think it is turning out really cool!

Ajunta Pall keeps on a building...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, August 15 2015
"Here's what I call my smugglers 2-Pack: HAN SOLO AND LANDO CALRISSIAN."

I really like the Lando from this set. Now why can't I buy something like this in stores now? I know, I know, I need to get over my disappointment with the new line. I mean its not like they made it a big secret about 5 poa.

Wraithnine shows us some great SSC Custom Work...

I think it looks really tough. What a great idea to use on a Clone helmet design!

Well the TIE Fighter is out of the proverbial Hangar as we see our first listings for The Force Awakens Merchandise today. Of course we knew that the release date probably wouldn't hold everywhere as retail people in many places wouldn't adhere to the date for Force Friday. The Irish Rogue is back with new fan fiction!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, August 13 2015
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Oasis Calm -- Volume IV

“Suspicion is a poison. A small drop makes a deadly weapon of the freshest water; contaminating pure intent.”

The commotion within the great dining hall continued to rise when more commando droids stormed through doors and window slits in the wall. R4- G9 rolled hastily towards Aayla Secura, spinning clockwise around her. The disguised Jedi Knight took the Grand Chairman by the arm due to her protective instinct, preparing to rush him to a place of greater safety. Her eyes peered around the room then locked on a squad of droids rapidly closing in at a full sprint. Their weapons drawn!"

And that is just the first paragraph! He gets right to the action!

Larifari shows us his third dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, August 13 2015
He is back with another great new diorama of an Imperial Starship Command Deck. I can see this easily being used as a background for a number of films. I could see me liking this with a full arrangement of Boba Fett and the rest of the crew!

Mr. Jedi 1977 is back with a great OT Update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, August 13 2015
"Jumping right into this one from well know characters to Mos Eisley back round characters and droids I also did an upgrade to luke from the trash compactor scene a dianoga will follow soon to an upgraded space trooper with the saga legands stormtrooper helmet. The dude with the black vest is still a wip so he will be completed soon!"

Its always great to see an update, I really like some of his Imperial Officer creations too.

Entire Set of Star Wars Emojis now available...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, August 12 2015
"Even if you didn’t attend Star Wars Celebration this past spring, you got a special gift: Star Wars emojis that would pop up in your social media feed if you used specific hashtags. It was totally brilliant and really fun, especially when you watched, gleefully, as your feed exploded with colorful Star Wars characters in the middle of a dull workday.

For San Diego Comic Con even more emojis were released (just as amazing, just as adorable) and now the entire set, including a bunch of brand new characters, vehicles, and weapons, are available as part of the deeply essential Star Wars App (available now on the iOS model and coming soon for Android). What was once a marvel of social media can now be transmitted, emailed, text messaged, and chatted to anyone. It really is a new hope."

Mara Jade Skywalker. Used the Mara head from one of the comic 2-packs and the Adi Gallia body.

A Bothan Jedi. I used a Ki-Adi Mundi body and the Bothan head from the comic 2-pack.

Kasia 'Kassie' Sainio of Alderaan is an intelligence operative working for the Rebel Militia. She has the uncanny ability to blend into whatever environment she finds herself in, as if she's a native. This skill has helped her collect vital information for the Militia...and stay alive while working undercover."

I really like the look of that last one.

Want to win some Stormtrooper Armor?
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, August 7 2015
I just got this message in from Rareburg.com,

"Rareburg.com have challenged Pete & Phil, owners of Masks-Direct & PPFX who sell & manufacture high end masks & costumes, to show you how to build Stormtrooper armor that we'll attempt to get approved by the 501st on a budget.

This is the first episode of our series of video guides showing you how to source & build your own Stormtrooper armour. In this episode, Pete & Phil show you how it's all too easy to fall into the trap of buying bad quality Stormtrooper armour online. Following a purchase of a Stormtrooper set of armour online for £250, Pete and Phil find some hilariously questionable craftsmanship on the Stormtrooper helmet and confirm whether they got *anything* for their money.

Rareburg.com are offering the chance to win the completed Stormtrooper armour to those who sign up for updates here."

I think we would all love to see an affordable 501st capable set of armor and I look forward to their journey. And heck winning a set of armor sure would be a nice thing too!

JDeck finishes his latest Droid...
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, August 7 2015
"I'd say he is finished. I changed some things to make him more accurate. I watched that particular scene several times today, and no arm. It must be a Hasbro invention. I just assumed it had an arm, but it makes him more interesting. I have a couple more droids in mind, like the KPR droid and Treadwell, just need to figure out the details."

I like the arm myself. Makes it stand out a bit more. I am looking forward to seeing more droid customs!

Bronxstalker finishes Del Momo and more!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, August 6 2015
"Ok, Del Moomo is complete. Whew, that took quite a bit of work. So much sculpting went into him. I used marvel infinite Hyperion figure, because I wanted the articulation and size. Looking up Ithorians, I see that they're pretty large, some as tall as 8 feet. I know that the official hammerhead figures tend to not convey proper scaled size, but Ithorians are tall.
So the base figure was a dremeled down Hyperion, although you can't tell, due to all of the sculpt used on him. The head, hands and feet were from an old Hammerhead figure. I had to cut his head in half, in order to make the base head longer, and then re=sculpted those side scaled things (whatever they are). The eyes in the hammerhead figure were also just thin slits, so I had to re=sculpt the eyes. The should pads are attached via magnets, so that his arms retain full articulation.

The other 2 figures are Mandalorians that I was working on. The first one is using those new marauder task force figures by Marauderinc (cool figures by the way) and the second one a GI Joe figure.

Since Ithorians are tall, I included an image with all 3 together to show how he scales next to them."

Folks, I just had to include the full description as there is just so much that was done to create this update. Talk about over the top!

"I started my LIN droid today. It'll be more of a prop than anything the dome won't be removable. So before I paint the dome I'll show you the basic structure. Yes that's an IG88 arm. The IG88 I had couldn't stand on his own so I'm cannibalizing him. I'll use the rest of his parts for other projects."

Once again, what a great addition to the Droid Ranks. I am very much liking JDeck's Projects this month.

The Star Wars Saga to be Enshrined in Limited Edition Blu-Ray Steelbooks...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, August 6 2015
"Each cover looks like they’ve been airbrushed by a magic wand. The seams, the tattoo patterns, and the little cracks making their way down the skull-like forehead tell us so much without a single word accompanying them. Imperfections never looked so perfect.

As fans count down the days until the long-awaited seventh episode of the Star Wars saga, they’ll have something else to look forward to as the first six will be released as commemorative Blu-ray steelbooks for a limited time on November 10, with pre-orders beginning on August 7. Each film comes with beautiful new character packaging that include Darth Maul for The Phantom Menace, Yoda for Attack of the Clones, General Grievous for Revenge of the Sith, Darth Vader for A New Hope, an Imperial stormtrooper for The Empire Strikes Back, and Emperor Palpatine for Return of the Jedi. Star Wars: The Complete Saga will also be released in newly-repackaged artwork on October 13.

In addition to the collectible steelbook packaging, each Blu-ray disc features existing audio commentary with George Lucas and the film crew as well as audio commentary from archival interviews with the cast and crew.

The Complete Saga includes all six feature films on Blu-ray, along with three additional discs containing more than 40 hours of previously-released extensive special features."

Gold Leader One adds some doors to his shelves!
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, August 5 2015
"I had a friend over today and we worked on one of my Action Fleet shelves. I thought we would have time for the other shelf but this one took a few hours. We had 1 big piece of plexiglass, we measured and cut off the pieces we didn't need. We cut it into 2 pieces, as I wanted it to open like a regular shelf. Having one big piece of plexiglass covering the shelf would be really awkward to open. Lastly we put some hinges in on the sides and some magnets on the inside at the top."

He explains the full process after the jump and I really like how he is showcasing his vehicles.

Sideshow previews their Ralph McQuarrie Stormtrooper...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, August 5 2015
"Get a closer look at the first release from our Star Wars Concept Artist Series, the Stormtrooper inspired by the art of Ralph McQuarrie.

Ralph McQuarrie’s paintings and drawings were instrumental in the pitch to bring Star Wars to the big screen, giving shape and form to a multitude of fantastic heroes, villains, creatures, planets and technology encompassed in George Lucas’ epic space saga. Inspired by original concepts of the Stormtrooper done by McQuarrie, this piece pays tribute to the man whose art defined some of the most memorable characters in film history."

-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 2 2015
"Hi All, Little more work done to the shuttle, I have attached the interior walls and the screen. I will try and get another update done before Wednesday as I'm going under the knife again on the ankle so I'll be bed bound for up to a week depending on how the surgery goes."

Well we hope he makes a fast recovery so he can get back to work on this fantastic project. Looking good so far Ron!

Larifari turns an Orc into a Sith!
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 2 2015
"I bought this Orc figure, because it was really cheap, and i want those Wargs too. Orc and Warg included in the same box). And I saw other guys amazing custom figures. Hmm... Let's make a custom figure! So here it is my first custom Sith figure. I used everything what i find at home, leather, old t-shirt for the robe, paper for the helmet, toothpick for the lightsaber."

Do you remember yesterday when I shared his first dios and said how impressive this customizer is? Ditto on his custom action figures.

Mandalore25 finishes his Celeste...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 2 2015
"Finished Celeste Morne, I think I got quite a likeness to her, tried to get all the little details."

He has a gallery on Facebook of the start to finish of this one (definitely very involved) I will try to feature in the future.

I-am-Boba-Fett gives us a Crossover...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 2 2015
"Here's a custom STAR WARS/TOMB RAIDER CROSSOVER figure.
This is Lara Croft as a Jedi Master. Her Jedi name is Kaura L'Roft. She features a lightsaber with a magnetically attach/detach blade. Her lightsaber hilt magnetically attaches to her belt too. Fully poseable figure made by me awhile back. She is up for sale here."

Darth Daddy is back with a TCW Update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, August 2 2015
"This figure has been put off to the side for way longer than I can remember. Mostly because it was tons of work to pull off. Both Vizsla's head and helmet needed heavy modification and on top of that, I had to fabricate the jetpack from scratch. So what did I do, I avoided the project for as long as I could tolerate. All avoidance aside, I definitely wanted to add this version of Pre Vizsla to the collection since he was featured so prominently in this form during the later seasons of The Clone Wars television series. He took more hours to fabricate than I care to recall, but now that he is completed, I couldn't be happier."

He looks good to me. And once again we want to wish Brian and Elias a happy 5 year anniversary for Customsforthekid.blogpsot.com!

Larifari shows us his very first dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, August 1 2015
"This is my first diorama attempt. I started making a cantina, but I changed my mind so quickly, after I saw the size of the upcoming diorama."

It sure looks good to me. Larifari has shown up and is really impressing me with his ships and dios.

JDeck shows us a WIP 6" Power Droid...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, August 1 2015
"Ever since Hemble made his 6" droids when I first started here, and saw some droids built by Sprywalker and others. I've been wanting to build some of my own. Now that I've figured out how to make Jawas I need droids to go with them. This is the first step on my GONK droid. I still need to sand the face area, just waiting for putty to dry fully. I put more parts on him than I initially wanted, but if he's owned by Jawas he's probably pretty jury rigged."

He is much further along than the above pic, but I wanted to give you an idea of what he is using to put this together. Why don't you give it a try yourself?

Ajunta Pall is back with a new Sith Update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, August 1 2015
"Due to LIFE I haven't been able to post anything all week. So noe that I have a little free time. Heres a little sneak peak at an update I did tonight

Darth Nihilus' character was created by artist Brian Menze and was inspired by the Famous Hayao Miyazaki's animated character named NO-FACE, from the cartoon movie "Spirited Away"!! My ex Wife introduced me to this movie she's a big anime head. I thought he looked familiar when I first learned of this SW character and decided to do some background research. Cool."

Cool background on this character I didn't know. Ajunta Pall has really been on fire with his customs lately. I can't keep up with his updates so make sure you scroll up and down to get all that custom goodness in!

Stan is back with a Smuggler Lando...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, August 1 2015
"Enjoy the decals everyone; I have a second set on working on that I share eventually! Latest custom is Lando smuggler outfit, big thanks to Darth Daddy and CustomJedi for the receipe! Add the upholstery stap on leg!"

Customizers being inspired by, and helping other customizers. Stan is the epitome of that. Don't forget we have his decals shared here if you missed them from previous postings. These were the ones I showcased during announcements on CAFN!
