"WIP update. With the black undercoat dry, I sponged on a mid grey paint all over the brickwork and floor. Once it had dried I sponged over it with a light grey, while it was drying I made a doorknob using green stuff. After the 2nd coat had dried I went over all the walls and floor with a black wash.
The next step is to dry brush walls and floor and paint the door."
These wall sections are just legit! He has also started some window and door work on his building so be sure to scroll around!

"Here's a quick one for tonight and a pretty easy headswap - just a Ten Numb head and Kuiil body. The only challenge is the neck peg that's in Kuiil's head - I used a Boss Fight neck peg and hot glue (you could paint him a little - lighter tan and blue - to make him blend in more, but I'm happy as is):"

"WIP update. I added the second coat of light and when it had dried I added a black wash over it. I applied a brown wash over the cement sections of the bottom and top tiles. For the ceiling of the room, I gave it a coat of magnolia, along with the skirting boards. Once it had dried I applied a brown wash over them. For the roof, I dabbed on grey paint using a sponge and then added a brown wash into the recesses of the roof.
All that is left to do is paint the windows and add the "glass" to them."
This building is really looking stellar!

"My Last One from TungHori
TungHori finally sent me the Razor Crest Mando. No word about the Klatooinian Raider anymore. Whatever.
The last batch for me arrived in good condition. These are good for probably being factory rejects. If they are, I'm sure they would be destroyed instread if TungHori didn't get hold on them.
It was a great time since 2006 and I probably got 30% of my collection from mighty TungHori."
It looks like he got some good and some bad this time out.

"It's been a minute... I'm getting married this weekend, but found a moment in all the craziness this week to set down and actually work on some figures.
So far these are works in progress, I've done the major bit of parts swapping and modifications but haven't tackled the paint yet. That's going to have to wait until after the vacation/honeymoon I think!
First I've got a simple headswap for Mandalorian disguise Obi-Wan:
Of course he will get a full repaint to match the Maul themed mando armor he uses in that clone wars episode.
Next we have a kitbash of a Bo-Katan and Sabine Wren. This is what I'd imagine an older "live action" Sabine might look like. I kept with the "explosives expert" theme she has and added the longer missile to the jet pack, and created a rocket launcher from a marvel hydra agent's gun. The rest, as you can see, are swapped or re-arranged pieces of both figure's armor."

"WIP update. Mixing up a light grey, I applied the first coat to all the unpainted stonework. Once it's dry I'll add the second coat followed by a black wash.
WIP update. I finished adding the brickwork to the sidewall, adding bullet damage to the wall. To finish work on the wall, I added a final layer of foam brick to the wall. All that is left is to sand the edges and I can start painting this piece."

"Hi All,
Tusken Raider 1:12 scale.
Recipe.
Figure - is from Hasbro's Black series and I removed the cloth robe and repainted him and the equipment using Vallejo Paints and I used pastel chalks for the dust.
Base - is a piece of high density foam and the rocks are made using plaster and pouring it into rubber moulds from Woodland Scenics and the rocks were also painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks.

"What started off as just being a two-piece diorama has now turned into a three-piece. After putting the floor together and scoring paving stones onto it. I added a light above the door, which will be properly attached once it's been painted. I decided that this piece needed a second smaller wall, again like the first it is held together with magnetic tape. When the glue has dried I will score in the brickwork."
If that weren't enough you can take a look at his painting work on his latest building too! I really like the fire escape he put onto this one.

"WIP update. I have painted the tops and the bottoms of the building front with a concrete grey. Then using a light brown I dry brushed all the brickwork (inside and out) to pick out the brick details.
My next step is to paint the cornerstones and borders a mid grey.
While the paint is drying with one model, I've started something new.
I was looking over some cells from the X-Men Animated cartoon of the 90s and came across one of an alleyway back entrance to a building and thought this would be a great little piece to build."

"Hi All,
XL-15 Maintenance, 1:72 scale.
Recipe.
XL-15 & Figures - the XL-15 is from Mattel's Hyper speed series, the Buzz that comes with the ship is to big so I looked at a few pics and figured it was about a 1:72 scale ship. I had to make a new cockpit which I did using plastic card and rod and then I repainted and weathered it using Vallejo Paints.
The figures are from Preiser and these were WW2 German tank crew so I had to remove the heads as they had caps on and replaced them with heads with hair and then sanded away the German tank uniform and the ladder was completely scratch built using plastic card and rod.
Base - is a piece of high density foam cut to shape and I then used a pencil to mark out the tarmac sections, I then painted and weathered it using Vallejo Paints. The two hoses are just thin electrical wire and the hose connection is from a German WW2 tank and the two piece with aerials on the are from an old Star Wars figure.

"As a kid I only had two Battlestar Galactica figures. The Cylon and the Dagget. Of course like most kids, the tail broke off fairly quickly. Years later (before I even attempted a custom figure) I sold off the Cylon. Well since its A) "Star Wars adjacent" and B) a robot, I decided I needed a more articulated one. So I looked for the worst and cheapest beater I could find seeing as the torso and head were all that was needed. Picked one up for $5 at a show."

"I did make a couple of batches of trees today, to make 10, and I went to the pet store to pick up some tarantula substrate, which is a premix of bark,coconut fiber, sand and peat moss, I might sift out some of the big chunks. Also got some lizard plants to add to what I already have. What's pictured is just a sample. The big hanging plants are made of a lot of small plants that I run a scewer through a few of them to make a bush.
I might make some taller straight trees, something taller than an AT-ST. I probably have enough to make a cool scene, just kind of waiting for the shoretrooper 4pack to come."

"Base Plates for your action figures - 1/18 & 1/12 scale!
So after a little brain storming I came up with this idea: instead of 3D printing my own base plates with foot clips, like those from M.O.T.U., I looked for some miniature base plates.
The only question left was, how I'd connect the figures to the base? Then I remembered when my younger sister made some jewelry out of rubber bands back when it was hyped about 6 years ago.
And luckily you can still get those LOOM bands. So I went to my local toy store and got a couple bags of bands 200 for 1€. I wish I could support this store with a higher margin.
I'm going to experiment a little with those base plates. After 30 seconds of drilling and tooling I got a display stand ready to go!
Hasbro haven't given us display stands for our action figures since 2012!
Especially fans of The Black Series have pleased Hasbro for such stands since its inception back in 2013. And I don't count that one time we got one with that exclusive Imperial Stormtrooper!
I ordered 80 of those base plates which fit for 3.75" figures. They arrived within 2 weeks for 21.14€ shipped so I paid 26 cents each plus 1 cent for two rubber bands."
Man, that is a cheap way to get some great bases!

"WIP update. I've been working on the fire escape, I started by building the ladder, glued it into place, and then added two braces and a perch to the underside of the fire escape. I added 3 dowels which slide into 3 holes in the wall which will keep the fire escape from falling off, making the fire escape removable and perfect for shipping."

"Ive made a few acquisitions and additions to my base. I got the Endor Bunker, may or may not repaint it. Made some concrete slabs with 1sq.ft insulation foam, modge podge and white, black and concrete watercolors. Made a few little simple props.
I got some different crates and a tractor beam generator from Hole In The Ground.
The cube crates were painted white then dry brushed with black, then dry brushed silver then brown and white washes. Not sure why I painted them all white but I did. Deal with it. The large crate painted white with a grime wash. The Rebel crate was painted dark red, then dry brushed red, then a pinkish dry brush. The ridged death star crates were just spray painted IJN Grey."
It looks great to me!

"I got my very first Hole In The Wall Production products, I've had them bookmarked for years, but never ordered anything. I got various containers, the infamous "cube crates", Ridged boxes seen with the death star cannon scene, the large crate and the Rebels crate with removable lid. Pretty cut and dry, just need to be painted. They look great, I'll need some more Rebels crates.
Also I got the Tractor Beam generator, I bought it for a genaric generator, they were also in the scene with the Death Star Cannons. It is heavy. I was surprised. It comes in parts, Top, bottom, three sides and three panels along with some decals. Seems pretty straight forward, just glue the parts together, there are instructions included. So I guess I'll pick up some paint and this'll be my weekend project."

"I've been hard at work with this building. I started by adding detail to the internal brickwork, marking out floorboards and using a metal brush to get a wood effect. Once finished I cut out a piece of 6 mm board and glued it to the underneath to strengthen the floor. Next, I added a pelmet and cut out a ceiling.
Once I've got the OK from my client, I can start painting this piece."

"So I've been wanting a space station playset/diorama for my 1/18 scale action figures and did a lookup a few months back on some space related action figures playset and came across the STARCOM line and saw the Starcom Starbase Station and thought it would be cool to get for my figures only to realize they are not the same scale, the Starcom figures are way too small, so you know me, I just do what I want, so I built one...in 1/18 Scale, here's the results..."

" I got a mortar set from Audesworkshop and made a mortar Shoretrooper. The paint is inspired by WW2 Afrika Korps, from the North African Campaign. The shoretroopers have a very similar paint scheme as the Commonwealth tanks, from that Campaign. The shoretrooper is my favorite Stormtrooper variant, outside of the regular Stormtrooper. The only problem is the shoretrooper figure's limited range of motion, he can't bend down and put the shell in the tube."

Here you have a STL-file of the electro-proton bomb from the Clone Wars I have made. I've always wanted to make a 3D-model of the electro-proton bomb since I've seen it in the Clone Wars. I guess the bomb is not 100% true to the original since I had no drawings from the original but I like how it turned out.

"For my client to maximise the use of this piece, I have added a floor so my client has their figures either looking out of the window or as demonstrated by Deadpool, firing his gun out of the window at the people below.

Burtu Joa - Rodian laborer, a moderate hunter at best, Burtu fled Rodia to avoid the stigma of lacking the skill and killer instinct his people applauded.
Charr Lolomot - a small time bounty hunter. She works for the Guild tracking bail jumpers and other lower profile jobs.
Fless Rimber - an Arcona bounty hunter. Another lesser well known member of the Guild, Fless has a special affinity for tracking "the money" and is often sought out specifically to deal with embezzlers and corporate spies.
Deak Urarias - a customs official, Deak is responsible for recording and assessing fees on the freight that comes through the Pillar spaceport."
