BDC41866 gets his Kit-Bash on a fourth time for our latest challenge...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 31 2017
"Heres my fourth entry in to the No Paint Kitbash Custom contest. A Chagrian mercenary commander. Somewhat inspired by a character and miniature from Fantasy Flight's Age of Rebellion RPG. Head and hands are from Mas Ameeda, torso and belted tunic piece are from Kithaba, legs are from Vizam, and the weapons are a mix of Star Wars and GI Joe. Only thing I had to do other than standard boil and pop and reassemble the figure was to trim the pegs on Mas Ameedas hands so that they would fit into the wrist holes on Kithabas arms."

I like him. And wait till you see how many more there are to see from yesterday. Click through to see the rules and prizes and then just enjoy the customs!

Echo Six introduces himself!
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 31 2017
"Hi all,

I'm new to the Shipyards, but have been posting on RS for a few years under the same handle. Just wanted to post up a couple of droids by way of introduction.

First up is the bantha droid from Mos Eisley. It has 14 points of articulation (shoulders x6, elbows x6, rotating body and head), and an internal clicker mechanism in the body adapted from the POTJ FX-7. Everything was 3-D printed with the exception of the FX-7 arms and clicker, stainless steel hardware, and the beads/sewing pins used for the chest buttons."

Now that is one awesome way to say hello. Click through and join me in welcoming him to the Yards! And scroll around as he has more than one great custom to peruse.

Talk about awesome. Here are the other two below:

Dan reviews a Thunderbirds Find...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 31 2017
"While abroad, I picked up the action figure of the "Thunderbirds Are Go" villain "The Mechanic".

I have zero interest in the "Thunderbirds" franchise but when I saw the figure, I knew I had to have it for my collection. As only the first wave of "Thunderbirds Are Go" figures were released in the United States, this second wave figure is unavailable here. I lucked out and got the last one they had at Argos (the line is done and even the UK Toys R Us stores only have wave 1 remainders left)."

Pretty cool figure if you ask me, but you can see more at his review.

Panther is back to roof work in Gotham...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 30 2017
"Today I got back to work on the building, I decided to work on the doorway to roof and an air condition unit. Both units are made with foam board, the first attempt of the doorway to the roof I thought was a little too large for the building. I ended up by taking an inch from the height and the width, at the moment I have placed a make shift door with a piece of black foam board. The air con unit again made from white foam board, the air vents are rectangles cut into the board and then using a flat piece of metal to push tops of the vents in and pull the underneath's out."

It is really looking pretty awesome to me!

Thinking of our Troops and their Families this Memorial Day!

As a veteran I am reminded that holidays like today are never really free. There are thousands and thousands of folks today who will not have quite as good of a time today as their relatives put their lives on the line for our way of life.

We here at Imperialshipyards.net want to say thank you and we support you!

Take sometime today folks to remember all of our veterans who have made that ultimate sacrifice and current acting armed forces and their families as they keep us free!

Ron Hembling back with a new Rogue One Diorama...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 29 2017
"Hi All,

It's only 4 days to go till Magenticon which is out local Con, I have now made 70 dios/figures to sell and that doesn't include the dios/figures I did as commissions for people for the show which is 5.

I'm hoping to get 2 more done plus a Boba Fett one so I can get Jeremy Bulloch to sign very exciting. So here is number 70.

Recipe

AT-ACT Pilot - was originally a Bandai Shoretrooper repainted using Vallejo paints to match the AT-ACT pilot. The marking on the stomach area is from the decal set that comes with the Shoretrooper. The Imperial logo on the helmet was taken from the Bandai AT-ST decal set and both decals were painted red.

Base - is made from balsa wood and then the sand and water were done using a mix of spakfilla and sand. Once appiled to the base I let the mix dry for about 10 mins that I used a medium brush and made tha waves using it.

After the waves were done I pushed the stormtrooper helemt and E-11 blaster in the mix. Onc eteh mix was dry I painted the sand and water using Vallejo paints and then I used Woodland Realistic water to give it some depth an dto make it look wet.

Ron"

Over 70 dios! Uh wow!

Legion078 makes some display stand dios...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 29 2017
"Some time ago a couple more ideas came to my mind. Last week I finally found some time to work on both:

1. Mini Diorama Display Stands

2. Shelf Dioramas

I decided to rename my "Mini Dioramas" because they are actually not as mini as these here:

FialaFernbrugg sent some of his impressive wood display stands to me and last week I painted the first one of it to give BB-8 some sand from Jakku to roll on..."

Folks there is definitely some great work going on here.

JDeck continues work on his Throne Room Dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 29 2017
"I have just a very minor update, more of a game-plan. I'd like to show folks how easy it is to do this. Easy but time consuming.. I started working on the flooring. I made the floor grate, it's not screen accurate, but it's more of the Kenner style. I just cut .03 styrene to shape drilled holes and used a small file to shape the holes."

That is just the start of his update to his new Jabba's Throne Room!

The Boo is back!
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 28 2017
"Hi all!

I've been working on a few projects over the past few months, and two of them were a couple of AT-STs. Honestly I have too many projects in the hopper, and it's leading to some project paralysis. I'm going to try and fire up my Tydirium project again over this long weekend.

Anyways, I wanted to do an ST using the correct model kits for kitbashing that was used in the original. So I picked up the Flakverling kit that was used on the AT-AT and ST (shield panels were used on the underside of the ST and the Butt of the AT and some other parts.) and started cutting stuff up and placing. I filled the leg recesses with resin and finished those out. Some nipping and tucking, ran some lights to make it pop, then used the AS-16 color and some weathering. Pretty happy with the way it turned out, but I still have some stuff I want to do.

I think my first post here was an ST I did long ago, and since I finished this one, I took the darker one and repurposed it into my first "diorama". I wanted to make an ST that looked like it had been rusting away for 50 years. Pleased with the result! I'll post back on the Tydirium later, with a proper in-progress thread."

Well let me go find my jaw as I dropped it!

To be able to display so many figures on this display is the main reason why I did not put any tree-trunks on it..."

Panther goes dark for his Gotham painting...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 28 2017
"Today I managed to get time to apply another coat of paint, as you can see I applied a darker coat on to the external brick work and then a grey coat to the corner stones. Once its dry, I'll glue the black foam board down. You probably have noticed that I have removed top layer of card ftom the black foam board, the texture I think works better without the top layer on. Need to build a roof shed and air con units for the roof and also add the downstairs windows and doors.

I think its starting to look more like a building in Gotham!"

I do too. Gonna be great when totally finished!

"First Order Snowtrooper

#12
Released: 2016

The latest generation of cold weather assault Stormtroopers, Snowtroopers wear advanced insulated armour and helemts that reduce the glare of icy terrain.

Articulation:
ball-jointed top neck (limited by the helmet)
swivel-jointed lower neck
ball-jointed shoulders
ball-jointed elbows
ball-jointed wrists
ball-jointed upper body
ball-jointed hips
swivel-jointed thighs
double-jointed knees
ball-jointed ankles (limited by the gaiters)

Accessories:
F-11D blaster rifle with redundant stock
backpack which plugs into a hole in the back of the figure
soft plastic Kama which can be removed from the figure

It seems that there are different packaging variants. One where the figure has the blaster in the right hand and one where the blaster is separated from the figure."

I so need to get back to doing some regular figure reviews. I hope Christoph keeps this up!

Happy 40th from Mr. Jedi 1977!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 26 2017
"Happy 40th anniversary Star wars ANH ....I cant believe its been 40 years! Like so many of us i am proud to say I was there from the beginning on line with my parents at the age of 5! I remember being totally blown away from the opening scene seeing the size of the star destroyer , Seeing Darth Vader walk on screen for the first time and hearing the audience gasp at his appearance to the same expression Luke had as he stepped into the Cantina. Those memories can go on and on. So as my last update for the month of may I saved this special! The first 21 figures carded on 40th anniversary card backs. These cards rock and I want to give special thanks to Blizzard force customs for this assist! Feel free to comment and if you like share your earliest memories of Star wars ANH."

Ron Hembling starts Vader Project...

"Hi All,

Why waiting for material I started this new project which will be a Vader Mythos.

Vader's body and helmet is from Bandai, the head is from Hasbro and I just needed to trim the bottom of the neck to make it fit correctly.

The cape and inner robe were cut from some material I picked up from the local craft shop.

Ron Hembling finishes his latest Fett Dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 24 2017
"Hi All,

Completed a commission piece for a mate, please enjoy.

Recipe

Fett - Fett is from Bandai and was built staright out of the box, I glued the joints and then filled them in and once that was all done I used tissue paper for the outfit.

The weapon has had it's muzzle sealed and a muzzle from a DLT-19 was glued on and the ribbing along the barrel was doen using thin strips of plastic card. The cape was doen using a dried baby wipe and the several washes were done and then it was cut to shape and glued inplace.

Base - is built up foam board and balsa wood, I used watered down spakfilla to cover the walls. While the spakfilla was drying I got a lightly damp baby wipe and dapped it over the spakfilla to give it a more natural look.

The consoles were done using plastic card and the pipe is plastic tube, I used greeblies from the parts box for the bench section and the grill was cut out from a plastic fly swatter. The figure and base were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks.

Ron"

Now that is one awesome dio and Figure!

Nothing special here. An update of an old comic cover from waaaay back. A little nicer and a little cleaner and a title change. Hope y'all like it.

Also, I've been working on a Facebook page. Nothing really new there. Putting stuff on a little at a time. New stuff will be coming though, so keep an eye out.

JDeck adds to his Throne Room...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 23 2017
"I did a little more work on my Jabba's throne room display this weekend. I got a few walls fabbed up, I built the stairs on either side of Jabba's dais, and I got the inside of the main arch covered. Granted its all held together with toothpicks essentially, so its a little wonky. I used foamcore for the inside of the archway. I had to strip off the paper, because it will fold instead of bend with the paper. So I spent most of yesterday soaking and stripping. Next I'll start finishing the flooring, including an attempt to make the floor grate."

I really think this is gonna turn out fantastic!

Panther is back in action in Gotham...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 23 2017
"Tonight, I got a bit carried away!

What started as only wanting to apply a base coat of limestone to the underneath of the roof (which I did). Ended up by adding beams to the ceiling, to straighten out the bending board and then having the bright idea of gluing the roof to the base! The black board has been placed back in but not glued in place yet. But I am now at a conundrum as to
1) Do I paint the top brick work as I have the others
Or
2) Leave the roof as is and stick the black core in place before I add the extra rooftop garnish?

Thoughts please.

I also still need to add the base, first floor windows/door and accessories for inside before saying this is completed."

I know it is sure looking great so far. Stop in and help him answer to his question.

The second piece is also a commission piece for Shawn and it will be a AT-AT head and partial neck dio where the AT-AT has been hit and it has gone down and there will be smoke and flames coming from it.

The head is done so far using foam board and once I get the look I want it will be then covered in plastic and cardboard

Ron"

Ron Hembling starts Boba Project...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 22 2017
"Hi All,

I have multiple pieces going on at the moment but I'll show two at this stage. The first one is a WIP commission piece and it's Boba Fett.

Fett is from Bandai and has been built straight out of the box and I will be adding the flamer unit which is the ROTJ version using plastic card. I glued the joints and then covered them over and will need to do some sanding on the joints.

The base is built up using balsa wood and then I used spakfilla to cover it and while it was drying I got a wet baby wipe and lightly pressed into the spakfilla to give it a more natural look.

Ron"

Oh yeah, this is gonna be good.

Panther does some window work in Gotham...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 22 2017
"Update!

Before I carry on working on the roof, I thought it was about time I turned my hand to making the windows.

I cut out 6 pieces from the plastic sheet, then using bolsa wood I made front and back window frames. Once completed I stuck them into place with hot glue.

Next job is to do the bottom two windows and putting the second coat of paint on the roof."

They sure do look real to me!

Some time between Episode IV and V. Han is seen here on a special mission with a sachel of explosives.

Body is from a Wal-Mart Captain Cassian. Head is from the G.I. Joe line, can't remember the figure but it's the one that looks exactly like Harrison Ford. Lol. Explosive sachel is from a Joe Tunnel Rat figure. Blaster is from a Has Solo figure."

Definitely a great look kit-bash. Remember there is still plenty of time for you to enter your own kit-bash custom. Click here for the full Contest Details and see some of the prizes!

Ron Hembling finishes his latest project...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 20 2017
"Hi All,

Finished a commission piece last night.

Recipe

Scout/Speeder - are from Bandai and have been built straight out of the box. They both have been painted and weathered using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks.

Base - is a cheap picture from and the ground was built up using a mix of spakfilla/sand/dirt and then spread over the base. Before it dried I used old branches for trunks and before adding them to the base I soaked them in metholated spirts to dry them out and stop rotting and kill any little bugs.

Once the trunks were inplace I then used a mix of static grass/sand/dirt/lichen moss and small twigs and mixed these all together and used PVA glue to adhere it to the base.

Once the dead foliage/ground was dry I then gave it several washes of Vallejo's Chocolate brown andleft it to dry. I then used the clover type plants and the pointy leaf plants from JoeFix Studio and glued them in place.

The ferns are fro the local craft shop and I get them from the fake flower section and tehn cut them to size and glue them in place.

The grass tufts are from miniNatur and the moss is a mix of spakfilla/sand and Vallejo Medium green paint and then I use a old brush and dap it over the areas were I want it to go.

Ron"

What can I say about Ron that I haven't? He just gets it done right!

Ron Hembling does more work on his Endor Dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 19 2017
"Hi All,

more work done to the dio.

The ground cover/dead foliage/mud is a mix of static grass,dirt/sand/thin sticks/lichen moss and the dead fallen tree is a branch I found in the bush.

I covered the base with PVA glue and then spread the ground cover/dead foliage over the base and once dry I removed the excess and painted it with Vallejo Chocolate Brown.

The small leaf plants and the pointed leaves are from JOEFIX Studio and the ferns are from the craft shop from the fake plant section, the small tufts of grass are from miniNatur.

The moss on the tree is a mix of spakfilla/sand/paint, I mix the lot together until it looked liked grainy pancake mix and then I used an old brush and dapped it were I wanted it.

JDeck starts a Jabba's Throne Room Dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 19 2017
"I just started my Jabba's throne room display. I'm building it in a bookshelf, so it's more of a stage seeing everything will be on one side facing out. I have most of the flooring rough cut, and I started on the main archway over Jabba's throne. A good trick when mocking up foam walls is to use scewers cut short, stick em under the wall section pointy end out, place it, and jam it into the floor. Helps hold when gluing too, in addition to clamps. Well, that's what I do anyway."

It sure looks great so far!

As you can see, the construction on the roof is now completed. All that is needed to do it sand it, paint it, glue the black foam board into place and then glue the roof into place. Then I can start with the roof accessories.

Just so you get an idea if the size of this, I put my 1999 Rancor in front of it. As you can see he doesn't even reach the top windows.

Over the weekend I will start adding the windows before attaching the roof into the place."

"AGENT MULDAR First Order Security Bureau

Aux Muldar is a special agent of the First Order Security Bureau (FOSB), tasked with anti-smuggling and narcotics investigations. His affinity for non-human cultures and languages makes him an asset to the Bureau in dealing with underworld cartels. While his peers deride him as an "alien lover", First Order command recognizes the practicality of blending in.

It wasn't easy, but I resisted the urge to paint! Looking over a few WIPs on my table, I saw how many already paint applied, even sparingly. Working in all black made it much easier. I'm a big fan of using like colors whenever possible, and black always looks good.

In the future, I could add some weathering and repaint the shoulder pad. All told, 90% of the construction was swapping parts from two figures. In my opinion, Cade was put to good use; he was creepy, and not in a good way. I'll have to find a use for his goofy head!"

Ron Hembling also finishes a second Hoth Dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 11 2017
"Hi All,

SW Battlefront Ice Cave Assault.

Recipe

Snowtrooper - is from Hasbro's BS 6" line and I glued the joints and covered them over. The hands and weapon are from Bandai and I removed the Hasbro hands and cut the armour off and glued them onto the Bandai hands.

I also removed the rubber karma and replaced it with a dry baby wipe folded over and painted. The whole figure was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.

Base - is made using balsa wood and foam board, the ice wall and ceiling was made using high density foam and glued inplace. Once the foam was dry I then covered the dio in watered down spakfilla and let it dry for 12 hours.

Once dry I painted the ice section with Vallejo Dark blue and then covered the ice sections with Woodland Scenics Water Effects to give it some depth. Once the Water Effects was dry I then used Woodland Scenics Realistic Water mixed with a little light blue and covered the ice sections.

Once the first layer of the mixed Realistic Water was dry I then added two more layers, I than gave the ice sections three coates of Realistic Water and then let it dry.

Once this was dry I then gave it a a mix of Realistic Water with a tiny drop of Vallejo Foundation White and lightly dapped it over the ice sections to give it a bit of a frosty look. The thing I did was two more layers of Realistic water and then added the snow using watered down spakfilla.

Ron"

Now that turned out fantastic too!

Ron Hembling finishes his Assault on Echo Base Dio...

Assault on Echo base completed.

Base - is made using balsa wood and foam board, I made the wall and ceiling double thickness and peeled off one side of them and used a soldering iron to make the excavation marks.

I then made a partial walk plate using plastic card and glued it into place. I then used watered down spakfilla and covered the base with it and once dry I gave it a few washes of Vallejo white foundation.

The hoses at the top are from an old fish take pump and the bottom power cords are from an old charger. I used thin metal as brackets. The stalagmites where done using Woodland Scenics Water Effects.

The vent was made using plastic card and the grill section is from a plastic fly swatter. The steam/vapour coming out of the vent is cotton wool pulled apart, then the last thing I did was to add snow over the hoses/cords using the left over watered down spakfilla.

Ron"

Now that is very, very nice!

I wrapped epoxy clay around the figire, and wrapped the strings around it. Then I painted it with water glue and brown paint. It's not bad, I may go back add a few more strings, maybe some beads. This'll do for a while. I still want to do a Jabba display sometime soon."

I think she turned out pretty good.

-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 9 2017
"Hi All,

The base for Echo base is done and I just need to do the figure now.

The wall and floor were given a few washes of Vallejo's Foundation white and then a dry brush of Vallejo white.

The hoses at the top are from an old fish tank pump cut to size and the hoses at the bottom are from an old camer charger, they were glued in place and then I used thin wire for the support brackets.

The steam/vapours coming form the vent was done bu ripping a piece of cotton wool apart and then gluing some of it to the vent.

Ron"

Now that looks great, but you know Ron it was already time to start a new project:

"Hi All,

Inbetween doing the Echo base dio I decided to start another Snowtrooper dio and this is Ice Caves from SW battlefront.

The base is balsa wood and foam board and the stalagmites/stalactites are done using old pieces of high density foam. I used watered down spakfilla to cover the base and now need to paint it and do the ice and do the figure.

Darth Daddy and Elias are back with new customs...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 9 2017
"This was actually a really easy custom to produce. Once you get past separating the upper torso of The Black Series Finn figure along the seams to free up both the arms, all you have to do is drill the shoulder sockets of The Black Series Cassian Andor figure to accept them. Switch the jackets, hands, and remove the holster and then paint the pants and boots before laying The Black Series Poe Dameron head on top of the Cassian Andor body. Oh yeah we also used a Dremel to hard sculpt the flap of the Cassian Andor shirt to make it look like Poe's. After all that was completed, all that was left to do was the neckline a little lower and add a brown wash to the jacket to wrap things up.

JDeck does some vintage custom work...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 8 2017
"I started working on my vintage Sy Snootles. I bought a vintage Kenner Sy Snootles on ebay a long time ago. It was missing the skirt, feather, the microphone and the paint was worn. That was a perfect candidate for an upgrade. First I chopped off the cartoony chicken feet, and sculpted on more gnarly toes. Then I toned down the yellow with a Vallejo dark sand coat, and Tamiya flat blue spots."

New fan fiction from Rezikai...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 8 2017
"The sounds of scared gasps and angered voices shouting became the new background noise in the darkness behind Captain Vare Kai, of ISD Kumo. His breathing quickened as his eyes flashed back and forth from side to side into the darkness trying to make out any shadows moving against the dark blue and black star filled horizon. To his left was one of the rectangle shaped troop transports turning its guns in the same direction as Kai's vision. Slightly behind the transport was a stormtrooper and the female naval trooper both donning the crowd control packs that Kai himself wore. To Kai's right was the large campfire and the other naval trooper also wearing a control backpack. Beyond the trooper was the dark rectangle of the other troop transport where Vishra was inside scanning its cannons back and forth waiting for a target to come from the darkness."

"Hi All,

More work done to the base, I have added the snow by using watered down spakfilla and then covered the wall and floor. While the spakfilla was drying I used a lightly damped brush and swept across the wall and the vent was made using plastic card and a plastic fly swatter.

Dan "The Spectre" Kosa shares another great Troll...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 7 2017
"Excerpt from "The Galactic Almanac Of Developed Species" (Fourth Edition):

The most biologically varied sentient species on Tolkien III are the Trolls. There are several major species of Trolls with each species having dozens of subspecies. The smallest and most intelligent species are the "Forge Trolls" standing 1.5 meters in height while the largest species are the "Great Trolls" ranging in size from 4.5-15.5 meters in height and weighing several tons. Trolls' intelligence levels vary greatly as well with the smallest trolls being mechanical engineers and far more advanced than the largest, who are slow witted brutes.

Great Trolls are walking siege engines, carrying heavy forged metal or stone weapons which they use to smash fortifications and squash smaller enemies. They are also incredibly resilient and will continue fighting even after suffering multiple injuries- many believe that is this is because they are too stupid to feel pain while others think that they are too dedicated to destruction and death to stop fighting.

Note:
The figure (1 of 2 "Masters Of The Universe" 12" Negators I have) is not a custom, the custom is the warhammer.

The warhammer is made from the handle of Negator's ball and chain weapon, a section from an old McFarlane accessory, part of a Bridge Direct "The Hobbit" Goblin King's staff and the sand hammer alternate hand from the recent "Marvel Legends" Sandman BAF I got in my 2017 Hasbro Toy Fair Event goody bag."

This new one with a custom hammer sure looks awesome. Dan has one great Dark Army thats for sure!

-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 6 2017
"Hi All,

Started a new dio,

Assault on Echo Base 1:12 scale
.

So far the base is built up using balsa wood and foam board. I peeled off one side and used a soldering iron to do the extraction marks and the slip plate is made from plastic card.

The trooper is from Hasbro's BS 6" line and I removed the hand and cut of the hand armour and then used Bandai's hand's and added the hand armour and also using a Bandai E-11 blaster.

I removed the plastic karma and will replace it with a cloth one.

Ron"

Oh yeah, you know how much I like a Hoth Dio!

Last night I coffee stained the floor which I think turned out rather well. Before I could fit the floor to the walls, I had to apply another coat of paint to darken out the walls. I created an acrylic wash made up from white, black and a little burnt umber and went over all the brick work. Not sure whether to do a second wash before i start work on the first floor? I will be going over the corner stones with a grey to match the brick work."

The trunks are from the local bush and I have treated them using metholated spirits, the spirits soaks into the wood and then you let it dry out either outside or a well ventilated area.

Give it about 12 hours to dry out completely and your then good to, I secured them to the base then used a mix of spakfilla, sand and dirt to cover the base.

Mandalore 25 is back with two new customs...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 2 2017
"I finished two figures today, first Nomi Sunrider from the Tales of the Jedi comics. Nomi became a jedi after witnessing the death of her husband, proceeding to play a prominent role in the major events of her time, like the Great Sith War, and even became Grand Master of the Jedi Order. Not sure what the head is from, it came in a random lot of cast heads, the body is from Wioslea, arms from TVC Mon Calamari pilot, belt from ep. I Obi-Wan, legs from ANH Luke, and I made the soft goods myself.

If anyone is interested, she's listed here:

Second I made Xanatos from the Jedi-The Dark Side comics. Xanatos was the second apprentice of Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, and his greatest failure. Corrupted by his father Xanatos forsook his Jedi training, and joined the tyrannical regime of his father, but it was duel between his father, and Qui-Gon lead him to the dark side, for he could not forgive his former master for killing his father right in front of him. Later Xanatos would return as a Dark Jedi to try, and take out not only his old master, but his new apprentice as well. The Build is Black Series Anakin head, TVC Quinlan Vos torso, Captain Needa shoulders, RotJ Luke forearms, Captain Needa legs, and soft good is a repurposed robe sleeve.

If anyone is interested, you can add him to your collection here:"

The both look great to me!

I added a toilet and a stockroom in the back, and also a more area where figures can either gamble or talk. The chairs are from "Hole in the Ground Productions." The "distillery" is made from some Japanese accessory pack I found in a store near my workplace, and it is topped off with a shell casing from a .45 caliber bullet. I left Dexter Jetster behind the bar for scale. I'll post pictures of the place filled up with figures tomorrow."

Jaeger 45 shares new Ewok and more...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 2 2017
"A few Ewoks customs I've been meaning to photograph for a bit.

Kaink

Kaink is an Ewok priestess/medicine woman in Ewoks: Caravan of Courage. Like a few others, I wasn't particularly enamored of the hood Disney made for her Star Tours figure, so I made my own, and added her feathers and charms.

King Gorneesh (realistic sculpt)

King Gorneesh leads the Duloks in the Ewoks Animated Series. I ran across another King Gorneesh on the web and thought I'd give it a try myself. Based around a Mezco Bigfoot figure, with snapping turtle shell armor, cast skulls and spine, and sculpted details.

Pulga

The Pulga is a large sort of Ewok horse in Ewoks: Caravan of Courage. Sort of a walking Ewok hut. I bought a hollow paper mache ball and drilled and dremeled until it fit on the back of a Clydesdale, and added soft goods and the like to create a mobile home fit for a Towani.

Hope you enjoy them!"

Well I know I sure did!

Base - the base is made using foam board and cut into shapes and glued. The walls are a mix of spakfilla/sand and was then added to the base and once dry it was painted and weathered

The metal plates at the top of the walll are pieces of high density foam and the grates are from a plastic fly swatter. Carbonite Han is from Hasbro and was repainted, The lights are LED's and are run off a 9v battery.
