Jumping straight out of Episode IV: A New Hope, the inseparable smuggling duo stands side by side ready to take on the forces of the evil galactic Empire. Wraithnine shows us his latest Sideshow Customizing...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 31 2015
This time out he is showing us Clone Capt Volt ,Cmdr Fulcrum Company ,501st Legion. You have to love the detail he is able to achieve at that scale. Some of these Sideshow themselves may never get too, but with W9 around it is just a matter of time till we see em all. I wonder if he will do a Commander Doom?

Ajunta Pall is back with new REBELS Customs...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 31 2015
"Here's more of the NON ANIMATED Star Wars Rebels customs: KANAN & EZRA (realistic version) and Kanan is disciplining Ezra that his Helmet collection is getting out of hand... with a group pic of the rest of the crew, I'm still working on ideas for a Zeb and Chopper. Btw I found a way to work out the harness problem. You won't believe what I used. Lol hope you guys enjoy."

I know I am sure enjoying them. I so much prefer the more realistic style than the anime one. Call me old school I guess.

Staring a feature on Action Figure Accessories...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 30 2015
I have been going through some of my own bins and totes and noticing I am missing a few things. Call it my own forgetfulness or my tendency to just loose things or my daughter helping me out in that regard or it could even be the family pets Vader and Luke I am missing some stuff for my own loose action figures. Of course the best place to replace some of that missing stuff is on eBay and I had to start with Vipers Kingdom, one of the Asian Power Sellers, and low and behold he has quite a few great buy it now auctions at very low prices to replace some of my missing action figure gear. I could even see cutting up some of these to make some great new weapons by piecing different parts together!

Look for us to feature things here in the near future that you can buy to enhance your existing three and three quarter and six inch loose action figures. Between soft goods and other hard accessories there is a lot you can get out there today to really enhance your regular action figure lines.

"HERA SYNDULLA (realistic version): Btw if anyone's got any ideas as to what I could use to make her pilot leash strap thingys please by all means leave comments and suggestions. I've tried everything from painting them on her legs to manipulating twist ties, and nothing seems to work for me as good as the real thing. Thanks for looking."

I love the look of the realistic style applied to these figures. Hope on in and help him out with the leash strap thingys!

Mandalore25 is back with an update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 28 2015
"I've been wanting to make a Cadra-Fan Jedi for quite some time, and the epasode I Anakin in jedi robes is the perfect height for one. Specifically I decided to make the Chadra-Fan Tekli from The New Jedi Order. Really loved those books, with a galactic scale war that wasn't against the sith, and Yuuzhan Vong are awesome. Back to the figure, she's really more of a kit bash, for it's mostly a Kabe head on an Anakin body, but I wanted to keep the hands too, so I cut the hands off both figures, and glued Kabe's to the pins of Anakin's so they'd still swivel. Loved the way it turned out, I'm very happy with it. If anybody's interested, here's a link.

StarFall is back!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 28 2015
"It has been a busy few months since my last Starfall update. After a long struggle of starting and stopping this latest character I finally got to a place where I was satisfied with the direction of his design and was able to complete him. It was really frustrating to keep not being able to "get him right" he just felt so off for so long. Perhaps that is befitting of his old and cranky personality?

When I debuted Miithraa, my Drethari Cathound character, I mentioned in her back story the master assassin that trained her. Wistrau Vitaali is one of the last living grand masters of the Kresh'ta'Nor assassin arts and one of the most skilled thieves in the Star Cluster. As a prisoner on the slave world of Denizen Prime he helped hone Miithraa into a most deadly assassin and skilled warrior. Despite his wrinkled exterior and cantankerous disposition, Wistrau is a skilled and caring teacher, only imparting his vast knowledge to those who truly deserve it. A former commander in the last of the 7 Wars he is also a decorated war hero."

Looks great to me!

I-am-Boba-Fett gives us a new Mando...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 27 2015
"Here is another figure that I made awhile back. This is custom Canderous Ordo, who became MANDALORE THE PRESERVER when he found Mandalore's mask. This figure is based on his appearance in the Knights of the Republic game and features an all new helmet and head both sculpted, resin cast, and painted by me. The helmet hoses and his rifle attach to his back armor via very small strong magnets."

That magnet work is really awesome. It really looks snug too. Of course the sculpt and paint work is fantastic too.

JDeck shows us an Order 66 Survivor...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 27 2015
" So I pretty much finished my Order 66 survivor, Brutis Valli. I'll probably start working soon on a dio for this guy, I think he's pretty cool.

Brutis Valli was a student of the brilliant Jedi Master Wuden. During The Clone Wars Valli seved as Wuden's captain and right hand man.until Order 66 was carried out by Wuden's clone commanders. Valli watched helplessly as his master was shot in the back by his own men. He defended and his master's lifeless body, so it wouldn't be paraded around as a war trophy, and was able to escape. As a fugitive of the Empire he spends his life trying to survive and do as much damage to the Empire as possible. He has cutting down Stormtroopers down to an art form, due to his expert lightsaber skills involving multiple targets. Its rumored he can single handedly take out an entire platoon one squad at a time."

I just love a good back story too.

"Star Wars --- The Clone Wars

Oasis Calm: Volume 1

"Uncertainty is a sign of humility, and humility is just the ability or willingness to learn."

(Opening Crawl)

"The first months of the Clone War rages on! Grand armies of the Republic stride forward bringing order behind. Battlefields grow more diverse while growing heavy with casualties. Each side devises increasingly lethal plots to stave the enemies war efforts in the hope of sparing themselves financial burden. The burden of commissioning a new army.

A' Sharad Hett is charged with investigating such Separatist ploys. Located in the system of Aargonar, Separatists seek a new way to eliminate political opposition. The system's allegiance and resources weigh in the balance.

Jedi Knight Aayla Secura's 327th Star Corp prepares their ships for the coming task. The optimistic young Jedi holds diplomacy in high regard having recently secured a new treaty with the Lurmen of Maridun. The Jedi temple remains an emblem of tranquility on Coruscant; the hopes of the people glowing as the new horizon dawns...."

Folks that is just the opening scene!

Clone Troopr is back...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 26 2015
"Haven’t posted a custom in a while, but here we go! This is the 501st Jet Trooper from the Star Wars Battlefront II videogame. When I first played the game, I knew I wanted a figure of this trooper. When I was finally able to get my hands on the Hasbro Battlefront II trooper pack, I was disappointed with the poor articulation of the figure, as well as how the figure couldn’t even hold the EMP blaster properly. After so long, I finally decided it was time I upgraded the figure."

Make sure you find out how he created a great looking Jet Trooper. I must say I love seeing it with its flame on!

Looks great to me. I wonder how long it will take the big H to get to these themselves?

Star Alien 70 is back with new custom figures...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 24 2015
"Hi, thanks for all your positive comments. Here are another couple of figures from the Cantina, Jenny and Swilla Corey:
Both figures are mainly from Camie Marstrap (Comic 2 pack). Plastic skirts replaced with soft goods.
Jenny's head from Marion Ravenwood (Indiana Jones). Swilla's head from Hermione (Harry Potter) (I know it's not a particularly good likeness, but I just like the look of it)."

They look like great Cantina Members to me. I really am enjoying his diorama too.

Ron Hembling finishes his latest Sandtrooper Dio...

JDeck is back with a custom figure update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 24 2015
"This is a Jedi figure I named Kenshi-Kan. Loosely based on Kyuzo, the stone faced Master swordsman from Seven Samurai.

Not much is known about Kenshi, he's a man of few words. Mostly his actions speak for him, judging by his actions he is a highly trained swordsman. He makes it clear though, he's out to kill Vader for his betrayal."

Sounds like one tough Jedi to me!

Gold Leader One creates Ace Azzameen
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 24 2015
"I'm pleased to have finally completed my Ace Azzameen custom figure. Ace Azzameen is the player-character in the flight simulator PC game X-Wing Alliance. XWA is my favorite Star Wars game, so to have a custom figure of the main character is pretty awesome.

The parts I used:

Head: Luke Skywalker Moisture Farmer 30th Anniversary Collection
Body: Luke Skywalker The Legacy Collection (X-wing gear)
Helmet: Luke Skywalker Dagobah Landing The Vintage Collection (X-wing gear)

A simple head swap and some painting required for this figure. The head was a perfect fit for the figure, and to my surprise needed no modifications to the peg."

Looks like how I had him pictured in my head. Nice work GL1!

Doesn't that just set the scene! Make sure you click onto Knightfall FINALE: Pt. 2!

Ajunta Pall is back with a new Sith Update...

I think she turned out rather nice for that quick of a job! We just plain need more Sith in our lives!

Ron Hembling is back with a new project...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 23 2015
"While I'm waiting for things to dry on my Sandtroopers I whacked together Bandai's C3PO and WOW it is an awesome kit, I will be doing him from EPIV and I still have to weather him and add wiring to the bicep section of the arm.

I have used small wires to simulate the damaged arm as well and the wiring will be able to be swapped out for the intact 3PO."

I am wondering if Ron will make a diorama base for this one too? It already looks great.

UPDATE: I see Ron has already finished this one off that you can see by clicking here

Rex chimes in...nobody would be that foolish...
Kenobi reveals that two years ago, when rex was wounded in battle, a small shadowy organisation bent on destroying the republic stole his genetic data intent on cloning him, being as he was perhaps the greatest military mind of the time. This organisation intended to clone an army but the techniques used were nowhere near as efficient as they had hoped.
Rumour has it the did succeed in creating 3.

That looks fantastic. I have the evolution pack from Hasbro and my MTU doesn't look that good.

Ron Hembling updates his Sandtrooper Dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 19 2015
"The base is almost done I just have to let the sand dry and then start the last of the weathering. The sand was done buy mixing spakfilla/sand/PVA glue and then adding some watered down 50/50 mix of Vallejo's Brown sand and Pale sand.

With the mix just mix until you get a pancake type mixture and once mixed I dabbed the mix onto the base and then spread it out with a damp medium brush. I let the mix dry for about 12 minutes then got one of the Bandai Troopers and gently pressed his feet into the mix to simulate the foot prints.

As with any desert area sand will get everywhere so I added the mix to areas where sand would build up a lot like the roof and flat areas.

I will start weathering the troopers over the next few days."

Does that base look awesome or what. Talk about works of art all over the place with it. Can't you just envision bases like this for each of the main Imperial Characters?

Pluv shows us a War Machine Astro-Mech!

Ron Hembling is finishing up his 6" Sandtrooper Diorama...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 18 2015
"Have done more to the dio today.

The first pic I added spakfilla to the structure which is two tablespoons of spakfilla and 1 teaspoon of PVA glue once mixed I spread it over the structure and let it settle for about 10 mins. After the 10 mins I used a lightly damp small sponge and dabbed it over the strucrure to get the texture I wanted.

The second pic is the almost completed paint and weathering. I firstly painted the structure Vallejo's pale sand then gave it a wash of Vallejo's beige brown. Once the wash was dry I then dried brushed it Vallello's Dark sand and then pale sand."

Trust me, there is a lot more to see with his latest update. Talk about cool!

Today is the last day to vote!
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 17 2015
We are just about ready to announce the details of our next custom contest! The vote wraps up today with two front runners. Which one will it be? Will we be scratch-building ships or creating our likeness as a Star Wars Character? I will be honest since this one is so close, whichever one doesn't win will be the theme of our next challenge after this one. Please take the time to vote for your top choice and thank you to those who already have!

Ron Hembling gives us an update on his new Sandtrooper Dio...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 17 2015
"Did a little work on the dio today, I have made some extras for the roof and in the corner using bits and pieces from the parts box. I have also added a light which is circled in black and have filled in gaps using spakfilla and I will start the texturing of the walls tonight."

Is this going to turn out fantastic or what! Ron has already put in some great work on his Sandtrooper and you might notice that is a custom bottom base from TS Hobbies. It is gonna be a great final reveal.

Star Alien 70 shows us more of his Cantina...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 17 2015
I am telling you I feel like I am watching A New Hope when I look at his pictures of his Cantina Diorama. Complete with lighting and many other accouterments this dio is one of the most detailed and screen accurate I have seen in 3 and 3/4 Scale. Click here to see the new images. One can only wonder if he has any more dioramas planned.

Gold Leader One is back with a new custom...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 17 2015
"Here is a quick custom I just completed. This is Tycho Celchu in his dress uniform. While I do love the Rogues and the pilots of the Rebellion, I may start making the Rogues in non-pilot outfits soon.

Not much really required to make this figure. Just a simple head swap. Tycho is one of my favorite "old" EU pilots so to have another variation of him is pretty cool."

Sometimes its all about simplicity and GL1 sure did show that with this custom. What a great looking figure with not much work! See why its so great to customize!

He has a custom dual bladed lightsaber that can be separated into two single bladed lightsabers then can be reconnected through the use of very small strong magnets."

Bronxstalker is back with a mega update...

"Alright, here's goes a bunch of stuff I've either completed, or am working on at the moment (and have not shared images).

A Sith apprentice (not named). I'm happy with how this one came out. I don't have any figure lightsabers...so I used...are you ready...plastic toothpicks."

Well now that is an interesting trick is it not! I think they turned out fantastic (lightsabers and finished customs).

Mandalore25 is back with an update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 14 2015
"Made this duo for a customer, a Zeltron jedi and a white Wookiee sith, a repaint mostly, but that's what he wanted. I like how the Zeltron turned out with quite a great likeness to her reference pic. Ran into an odd problem using a Marvel Universe Wasp as her base, Wasp has gold painted on her front, and when I painted over it, Hasbro's paint started to peel off. I'm not sure if there was some sort of chemical problem with the two paints, but this is the first time this has happened to me, though I irregularly use Marvel Universe figures."

Well hopefully this isn't a new issue with the paint applied to Hasbro figures we were all unaware of, but you can't argue that his finished products look fantastic!

Ron Hembling shows us work on his new Sandtrooper Diorama...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 14 2015
"Well I have done the joint coverings to my second trooper and started a new dio as well.

So far the troopers joints have been covered using black balloons and I will be keeping the articulation on these guys. The shoulder pouches can be removed as I have added elastic to the backs and the small pouches on the left side I got from my bits box.

The structure so far has been done using marine foam and just cut to shape and the walls will be given it's texture using spakfilla.

The base was done by TSHobbies (thanks mate you did a brilliant job) and I just added a few washes of flat white to enhance the logo and writing. And here is a link to his work."

All I can say is when you combine awesome with awesome it equals awesomer! I would argue that is a word too!

Ben Alius finishes and names his new ship!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 14 2015
"Herewith the final exterior pictures... with the by Tamer requested skull (StarWars style)... AND... I finally made a decision about the name of this ship... The name will be: KALIDOR SHADOW."

Oh yeah, that skull looks great! Isn't this just a great build. This just screams play with me! He builds all these toys just for his son. I don't know if there is a dad of the year award in this hobby, but if there was BA would sure be on the list!

Star Alien 70 shows up with a great diorama...

Mr. Jedi 1977 is back with a Band Update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 14 2015
"Just a fast update just added leg articulation to the band members using rebel fleet troopers and imperial tech's. I painted the instruments and made a much better omni box. Enjoy!"

Talk about these guys looking so much better with leg movement! And that new omni box is over the top. That needs to be molded and cast!

Mando Assassin is back...

It is good to see MA is still around.

Solid385 shares more of his Episode I Cast...
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 14 2015
"The cast of my Phantom Menace reboot comes together nicely..."

All I can say is if we had characters like this instead of others (cough cough Hayden) then I sure would like the prequels a good bit better.

I am really enjoying his custom Mando Helmets lately. He is really rocking the sculpts!

Well I think it looks pretty good. Trying to resit urging BA to add a skull and crossbones to this one.

Bronxstalker is back with an update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 12 2015
"You know, every now and then...I have to go back to a GI Joe character, mainly...Snake Eyes. I just love him to death.

This time, instead of making your standard GI Joe looking Snake Eyes, just another Joe dressed in black wearing a mask, I decided to make this one having more of a comic book ninja look to him.

He stands at 4" tall, so he's taller than your stand GI Joe figure."

He has this one listed on eBay if he really tickles your fancy!

Darth Daddy is back with an OT Update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 11 2015
"I just repainted the 2012 Droid Set Vintage Collection GNK Droid with a paint application that was inspired by the 1978 Power Droid from the Vintage Star Wars collection. The sculpts on the figures were completely different, so I just tried to repaint the more modern figure with the old blue/orange paint scheme from the earlier figure."

Oh yeah, now that is a great paint job. Hasbro could sell a ton more of these if they would do something like this.

Ajunta Pall is back with an update...

I know I sure like the look of these acid rain figures. They compliment SW Customs nicely. make sure you scroll around and see all his great custom figures he has shown us so far.

Dobiwan is back with an Episode 7 Custom Update...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 10 2015
"I know I get mixed feedback on my female figures but all comic & movie heroes seem to have perfect or larger than life proportions so I like them that way too...on that note, I loved The Flash Forward trick they used in the TV show Lost & Battlestar Galactica so maybe this will be Kira Solo in the new Star Wars, Jedi to Sith!"

I must say I wonder if there is some foreshadowing there for the upcoming movie series. I am also sensing a continuing theme regarding Dobiwan's custom figures too.

Solid385 shares some awesome Jedi!
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 9 2015
"Hi guys, I'm new here, I'm intending to remake the prequel trilogy using custom action figures to changes the character design, actors (in some cases) plot, and also retcon a few things...Obviously some things will remain the same...Below is my interpretation of Anakin Skywalker, played by Tom Hardy and already a very sophisticated Jedi in his mid 30's.....(Sebastian Shaw was a man in his sixties so that follows....)
the films centre around him and focus on his GRADUAL transformation into vader..."

Works for me! I too have wondered about the time frame thing a bit and frankly Hayden was the one actor that about half ruined the prequels for me personally.

Ron Hembling shows you a trick with some black balloons!
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 9 2015
"Hi All, I'm making a new Sandtrooper dio using the Bandai Stormtroopers and want the figures to still be articulated but I don't want the joints to show mainly on the arm and leg joints. I cut up a black balloon to different sizes and then rolled and attached the two ends on all pieces and let them dry for a few hours."

Folks I know the picture above is kinda small to see the effect, but if you click the link and enlarge the picture you will see the striking difference between seeing the joints and not seeing them. Remember, he is still keeping all the articulation on these. Bravo Ron!

Dobiwan is back with a REBELS Update...

"Lately I have been a little "tooned" out so I thought to remake Hera Syndulla in a Vintage Style format & my vision of her outside of that flight suit!"

It is so hard not to pun this one, but this is definitely a version of Hera I haven't seen before.

"I dug up some of my old collection pictures to share, since I felt inspired to do so. I sold a good chunk of the carded figures, and opened most of the other part of them. Some of these pics are probably about 12 years old, so you might have to give me a bit of a break! I think this is almost all my Hasbro stuff, though I do have some GG busts and props that aren't pictured as well. Enjoy the trip down memory lane!"

Welcome to ISY Jodo, I really enjoyed seeing your cosplay pics!

Gold Leader One finishes a Star Wars Figure of himself!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 8 2015
"I know I posted this before, but now I can say this custom is officially complete. This is a custom figure of myself, thanks to thatsmyface.com. I finally got the rebel pilot figure I wanted to use for the custom.

Earlier, I used the Dagobah Landing X-wing Luke figure, as I just wanted to see how it would look. Now with finally getting a regular X-wing Luke figure (with the black gloves and boots), and after trimming the peg down a bit, I was able to 'officially' complete this."

Looks pretty good to me. I could see ole GL1 getting himself a Rebel Pilot Outfit couldn't you?

Well I have gotten off my duff and started the new poll for the ideas generated by the members for the next theme of our next custom challenge. From Droids to ships to display bases to making yourself as a Star Wars Character there are lots of cool choices to choose from. Feel free to spread the word and lets get a big vote this time out!

KRZTFR has one leg done!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 7 2015
"Well I got a woodburning hot knife from Micheals my Dremel and some Milliput and some legos to make some articulation. This has to be 3d printed the pastic when dremeled is very..."fibery" not like the usual abs plastic like vehicles."

Is there an Imperial 3D Printer in the works now? That would sure explain some of the missing articulation wouldn't it! Still, it is great to see some movement in that AT-DP's Leg. It will be great to see some of the poses you can get when he is finished.

I am back with a Firefly update from Most Wanted Collectibles!
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 6 2015
"Firefly Truth of Resistance Giclee on Paper by Steve Anderson. This is on sale at $36.00and you can already save 10% off. This is a Limited Edition Lithograph, 395 piece hand-numbered edition that comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The Measurements: 18" x 24" (paper size). Manufactured by: Acme Archives. This product estimated to be in-stock on Wednesday 20 May, 2015."

I have to admit I am a huge Firefly Fan and would love to see this awesome Sci-Fi Series come back. It is amazing how this have lived on even after the series has been off the air for years. Its is one of the few TV Shows all members of my family can get together and watch.

Ron Hembling finishes his 6" Spacetrooper Diorama...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 6 2015
"Hi All,

The Imperial Spacetrooper is from Bandai 1/12 kit. The trooper was built straight out of the box and I will be keeping the articulation as there is little to no joint sections like Hasbro's troopers.

The air tank has been built using a part from a 3-3/4" Imperial Evo Trooper, piece of plasti card tube, 1/72 scale tank wheels, two top of Hasbro SW missles, some 1/20 scale plastic nuts, two parts from the 6" BS speeder bike and some plastic tubes from the bits box.

The base is from the Bandai Stormtrooper and I have built up around it using plasti card as it will have a 9 volt battery underneath as it will have to lights in it. The lights run up thru the plasti tube and I have used a 1/35 scale tank wheel on the taller tube and the two tubes have clear domes that I gotten from two Star Trek kits.

He's complete, I painted the base and air tank using Vallejo paints and painted the black areas of the troopers uniform matt black. I used the decals from the Bandai kit to use on the filters and painted the mouth section and also the detonators grey section."

I had to include the full description. I always appreciate how he includes the full step by step instruction guide with each new project. Thanks Ron!

JTA blows the dust off their crystal ball...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 6 2015
Now you have to take rumors as rumors until the Big H officially shares new product information, but I have found Jeditemplearchives' information regarding new product coming down the pike to be almost 100% accurate in the many years I have been doing this. We would like to thank them for always shaking that magic eight ball and getting us the skippy on our beloved action figure line. As always some of this will cause happiness and some not so much.

Derryl DePriest sheds some light on Hasbro's Focus...
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 6 2015
I was put onto this great interview that The JOE Report did with Mr. DePriest, Hasbro's VP of Global Brand Management by our friends at Jeditemplearchives.com. I know the major talk was about the 12" JOE Line, but you can really see how much of this viewpoint applies to our beloved SW Lines. I have always found Derryl to be a straight shooter and very honest. This interview shows that as well as how Hasbro Execs view their product lines. We would be remiss if we didn't that JOE Report for the kind use of their interview as well.

Now that is one bucket for the books! Very cool, couldn't you just see this guy impaling someone with a Mando Head Butt!

We get to see the look of the new product line as we all eagerly await the street date of September 4th for us to see new products for our upcoming movie debuting near Christmas. It is so hard to wait!

From the official site: "The next generation of Star Wars toys, collectibles, books, and apparel is in range.

StarWars.com is thrilled to announce that Star Wars: The Force Awakens products will land in our galaxy on September 4, 2015, at 12:01 a.m. — “Force Friday” — with stores around the world opening their doors at midnight for a special celebration of all things Star Wars. It will be a day long remembered.

“Every lightsaber, every action figure, every LEGO set tells a story for generations of Star Wars fans, and this global event is a celebration of those stories. We’re excited to be part of the countdown to this enormous movie moment,” said Josh Silverman, executive vice president, global licensing, Disney Consumer Products.

Fans wanting to be the first to get their hands on Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise can set their hyperspace and social media coordinates now: They will be able to visit their local retailer starting at midnight on September 4, and are encouraged to document their experience using the hashtags #ForceFriday and #MidnightMadness. A wide-range of products — from toys and collectibles, to books and comics, ebooks and apps, to apparel and lifestyle accessories — will be available at mass retailers and Disney Store locations worldwide, as well as on DisneyStore.com.

Also revealed here for the first time is the packaging for Star Wars: The Force Awakens products, featuring the mysterious new villain, Kylo Ren. The ominous, shadowy figure and the red lightsaber he wields will be featured on Star Wars product packaging beginning September 4, 2015. Let the countdown begin."

Gold Leader One is back with a new Rebel Pilot...
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 4 2015
"I knocked out another custom figure today, this one in particular I'm very happy to have. This is my custom Olin Garn pilot figure, from the computer game X-Wing Alliance. XWA is my favorite game, and to have a custom of one of the recurring characters is such a great feeling. I can't wait to make an Ace Azzameen pilot figure and have these 2 next to each other. Here's a bit of back story on Olin Garn."

Kualan gives us a new chapter of Tales From The Clone Wars!
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 3 2015
"Here's the full version of Issue Thirteen Volume Four - Echoes Of The Past, Part One."

Folks, this is really one of the most enjoyable versions of The Clone Wars Fan Fiction out there. The graphics and wonderful and the story line, in my humble opinion, has been better than that envisioned by Lucasfilm and that is saying something!

Ron Hembling starts a Spacetrooper Project...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 3 2015
"Onto a new project this round I'm doing a Imperial Spacetrooper using a Bandai 1/12 kit. The trooper has built straight out of the box and I will be keeping the articulation as there is little to no joint sections like Hasbro's troopers.

The air tank has been built using a part from a 3-3/4" Imperial Evo Trooper, piece of plasti card tube, 1/72 scale tank wheels, two top of Hasbro SW missles, some 1/20 scale plastic nuts, two parts from the 6" BS speeder bike and some plastic tubes from the bits box."

Make sure you click in and read the full description. It already looks great! Ron sure doesn't let the grass grow under his feet. Wouldn't it be great to visit his workshop?

g0odfr1end102 shows us another great 6" Custom...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 3 2015
"Here's another one of my repaints. Now, just to start this off, I–like many others–love the Wolfpack. Had an extra #07 Clone Trooper Sergeant laying around and decided to give it a shot. The 104th's paint apps are however far too tricky for me, I'm simply no good when it comes to precision (although I keep training). Hence, I decided to go with something pretty basic and gave it a good amount of weathering to make it look battle-hardened."

Wow, what I wouldn't give to see Hasbro make one of these! I can only hope he will do a Phase II Version of this one too. Just fantastic!

Ajunta Pall is back with more great updates...
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 3 2015
"Last but not least (atleast for tonite) my favorite is the Clone Wars (my favorite star wars cartoon) lost missions "FORCE PRIESTESS". Her "cousins" are confusion, anger, sadness, joy, serenity! Which in actuality are all different aspects of her. Mysterious as she is and very little is known about her and who she was now with the living force she tests Yoda to see if he indeed is worthy to be taught how to after death transmutate into a force ghost guided by Master Qui Gon Jinn."

I must say I really like the look of this one. Make sure you scroll around as there are a ton of great customs to peruse.

Hasbro eBay has some great deals for May the 4th!
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 2 2015
They have cleared out the Toy Shop and posted all of the latest action figures in their eBay Store. I mean from 6" figures to 3 and 3/4" Figures to the latest REBELS Figures and Ships you can really good wrong. I mean we are talking at least a 20% discount and free shipping on all items. I'll bet other etailers and brick and mortar stores are seething right now!

Koth updates us on his Wolfpack Helmets...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 2 2015

Custom Jedi is back with two updates...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 2 2015
"Major Kem Monnon was the chief of the Rebel Alliance Corps of Engineers, which was responsible for establishing Echo Base on the arctic world of Hoth (from The Illustrated Star Wars Universe)."

I like the look of him. He also has a great update on his commander center he is building.

Ron Hembling finishes his latest POTA Diorama...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 2 2015
"Luca is done and as the norm I will get my usual out door done over the weekend.

The base is two 1/12 Stormtrooper bases glued together and the balsa wood was attached around the edges. The base was built up using High Density foam and it was broken apart to simulate a cracked and destroyed road, I used a small sandstones and pushed it into the foam to give it a tar road feel to it."

Folks that is just the start of his tutorial and description of the base for this. Just outstanding Ron!

g0odfr1end102 joins up and shows us his first 6" Custom...
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, May 2 2015

Here's my first, the incinerator trooper–a repainted #01 Sandtrooper."

Folks, I think it looks phenomenal!

General Mills lets us preview their Star Wars Promotion!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 1 2015
I was contacted a few weeks ago about being interested in General Mill's new collaboration with Lucasfilm and was excited to find out more. Well low and behold yesterday they delivered up a few boxes of cereal with the promotional materials.

As you can see you are going to be able to collect Star Wars Movie Posters from each of the six released films as well as get some outstanding cereal.

My daughter wasted no time in trying our the new Reese's Puffs for the first time and her is her reaction. I even let her use my own vintage TESB Cereal Bowl!

I am also very happy to report we are going to be doing a partnership with General Mills with some exclusive poster giveaways. Thanks General Mills. You make a great cereal and you are giving us some Star Wars Posters too. That is what I call a win win!

Bronxstalker is back with a new Mando...
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 1 2015
"I've been working on this new Mandalorian. As far as I know, there hasn't been an orange themed mando, so this might be a new color scheme....and I really like how it came out.

Orange is the new black...some joe parts, head cast from Clonehead, sculpted armor parts except for upper chest armor. Sculpted belt pouches. Modified blaster to attach to leg.

If anyone is interested, he's up on Ebay."

I-am-Boba-Fett is back...
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 1 2015
"Here is ROOK KAST, a female Mandalorian seen in the Darth Maul Son of Dathomir comics. Her helmet is a custom exclusive resin cast head made by me. Her shoulder armor, stomach armor, waist armor, upper back armor, and lower back armor is all custom sculpted. Her kama skirt is custom made from vinyl. Her un-helmeted head is a resin cast piece. All custom paint work is by me. Her pistol is a custom made piece too." I think she turned out pretty daggone nice!
