Clonehead is closing down entries for his custom parts contest on Monday. Be sure to get your picture entered in the contest picture thread. Don't forget it needs to have the words Imperial Shipyards.Net somewhere in the pic. Good luck.

DocOutlands and family are getting to it!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 29 2009

Talk about a family affiar. Doc and son are producing some great custom items and sharing images. Doc has tried his hand at mold making and has made a daggone nice first mold if I do say so myself. His padawan has made the two great customs pictured above and boy do I like that airborne mod. Great work!

Issue #7 now showing
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 29 2009

If you have been following, "Threat of Peace"you know that this is really starting to get good. This time we get to see the Sith temple and a slight arguement between two Sith as well as more of that great Wookie bounty hunter. See the offical website to see the full release.

Clonehead reviews the Shark-170!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 28 2009

He really liked this one. I don't see what there is not to like either. Still, we both wish the droid sockets they make would correctly fit a full size astromech! Be sure to read his full review.

Get your Boil!
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, May 24 2009

Well that sounds kinda gross, but you know what I mean if you have watched The Clone Wars. This is the clone troop that has the hash marks on his helmet. Our Clonehead is offering up this custom auction for a one of a kind figure. You can bet, even if Hasbro makes this fig, it won't be as detailed as Clint's.

New Legacy figure reviewed!
-- Posted by Clonehead on Saturday, May 23 2009

My buddy Tamer found and sent me one of the new Legacy Collection figures that I had been wanting and I had to open up this Hoth Rebel trooper right away and see what he was like.

Send an E-Card for Father's Day!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 22 2009

Why not sent the Dad in your life a pretty cool E-Card in time for Father's Day. I also saw they had a pretty cool anniversary card too. I wonder if my wife would like it as much as I do? They cost $.99 cents to send, but they are pretty well designed and give a good preview of what it will look like when played as well as giving you a good amount of personalization!

This place is going customs crazy again!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, May 22 2009

I am loving all the action the customs threads are recieving lately; including this great snow camo Veers that is in the works. DocOutlands is working with some great color, Spudafett just posted some new pics, and Narceron is making some great "V" soliders from Imperial Soldiers. Please don't forget that Clonehead also has another great contest open for some great custom parts!

And the customs keep coming!!
-- Posted by Clonehead on Thursday, May 21 2009

Our new forum member, Narceron, posted pics of some imperials altered to represent characters from the Movie and TV series "v"' in the thread that he calls Why so Sirius?,
I think that this is a pretty cool idea and that his figures represent a convincing portrayal of the alien soldiers in the series.

New Clone Wars figure found?
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 21 2009

Clonehead won an ebay auction from the Far East and look what showed up in his mailbox. Is this a new The Clone Wars figure due to come out in the future? Should we look to get our new waves from Hong Kong or Malaysia so we can get em months ahead of schedule? I don't know, but the pics Clonehead posted sure make me wonder!

DocOutlands joins the customizing team!

Is this great or what!
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, May 18 2009

My gal just celebreted her third Bday yesterday, but she didn't get a cake like this. Clonehead put me onto this via Yoda's news.com and it seems this came from Slipperybrick.com. If you scroll down the page you will notice some other great walker additions. Just great stuff!

Clonehead reviews the ARC-170 battlepack
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 13 2009

There is not much he didn't like with this set. It was interesting to read the slight differences he found with some of these figures. Still, all in all, Clint gave this one two thumbs up. He likes his clones!

Who would win?
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 12 2009

This hilarious video shows just how the Enterprise would fair against "firepower of that magnitude." Found at theforce.net, this was indeed good for a chuckle if you need one!

Web Comic shows Vong invasion!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, May 7 2009

Darkhorse has issued a press release stating that, "The opening chapter in Dark Horse Comics' new series, Invasion is available online at starwars.com/invasion. Part two of this story will appear online June 5th, 2009, and issue #1 of the series debuts in July. Set twenty-five years after the Battle of Yavin, the sixteen-page introduction story will establish four main characters -- the Galfridian family of planet Artorias -- as they fight to defend themselves from the invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong." I can't seem to get it to load myself yet, but I am gonna check back a few times today!

Every Lego created!
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 6 2009

Take a look at gizmodo.com and check out thier poster of every lego mini-figure ever produced. I am not a collector of SW Lego myself. Still, these different additions sure do open a nice line for Star Wars collecting!

Look at this Purple RC!
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, May 6 2009

From around the Web!
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, May 5 2009

It has been awhile since I have done one of these, but here goes; first, the graphic above is a cool image from a game system designed by alienware.com. Man, I would love to own one of those. Next, I also found out we missed "May the 4th be with you" yesterday. I do hate to miss a holiday, but the floodwater was a rising where the Tamer lived. It did spark this great Internet debate over what age to let your kids watch Star Wars though. Finally, it looks like Hasbro lost some profit! Star Wars and Nerf finished strong, but the other lines fell. Hasbro, why don't you focus more on SW offerings? That should have been a wake up call! Those are just a few of my thoughts.

Big custom pic update!
