That is just a small selection of a great story. You can't go wrong reading his Last Orders of Captian Kai.

"Hi All,
Scout trooper Sniper team 1:48.
Recipe.Scouts - are from FFG Star Wars Legion box set and they were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
Base - is a large piece of bark and the tree's were made using branches and the leaves are from Woodland Scenics light green foliage set. The tree's were glued into place and then a mix of fine sand and spakfilla was applied and once dry I then used a mix of static grass, dry leaves, thin twigs, lichen moss and blended them together and applied them to the base.
Once the mix was dry I then gave it a few washes of Vallejo's Chocolate brown to give it a forest floor feel to it. The grass tufts are from Army Painter and the bushes are from Woodland Scenics Olive green fine foliage set.

It's an Imperial Purge Trooper! So this talented customizer here seems to be in serious business. I really like his interpretation of the Purge Trooper, although it doesn't quite look like the design of the trailer. And I'm pretty sure, this custom also uses a resin cast helmet."

"Hi All,
Survivors of Endor - 1:48 scale
Recipe.
Scout Troopers - are from SW Legion and I used arms and heads from Airfix's 1:48 scale RAF ground crew set and the spears are from some 28mm spearmen I have had in the parts box for some years.
The hair and beards were done using putty and I painted and weathered them using Vallejo Paints and Pastel chalks.
Base - is high density foam and the AT-ST is an old AMT kit, the tree trunks I picked up from the local bushland and the branches/leaves are from Woodland Scenics Fine Foliage range is the Olive Green set. The ground work has been done by blending dry leaves, thin twigs, lichen moss, fine sand and static grass in a blender and then applying it to the base using PVA glue."
Trust me folks that is just a warm up.

"Hi All,
More work done to the Survivors of Endor dio last night.
I added the Vallejo Chocolate Brown washes to the ground work and then added the foliage using bush clumps from my local gaming shop, grass tufts from Army Painter, vines from MIG/Ammo and tall thin plants using cut paper which were painted and then Olive Green Fine leaf foliage from Woodland Scenics.
The simple spiked barricade was done using the thin branches that were left over from the Woodland Scenics Fine leaf foliage which were sharpened by using a model knife. The rust and worn look on the AT-ST was done using pastel chalks, Vallejo's rust and corrosion pigments and a led pencil.

He does a fantastic job explaining how he makes vinyl decals for his Kenner AT-AT and AT-ST Drivers!

"Hi All,
More work done to the Survivors of Endor dio today 20/04/2019.
I added branches using Woodland Scenics tree armatures and cut them down to the length I wanted. I then drilled holes in the branch and secured the armatures with superglue. I then painted the armatures with a Vallejo's Blue Grey Pale paint and once dry gave them a wash with Vallejo's Medium Brown."
Trust me that is just the start of this update. Ron always shows us how he does it!

New 28mm SW dio started and this will be called "Survivors of Endor"
As per the pics so far it will depict two Scout troopers on Endor years after the battle. They have set up camp in an old knocked out AT-ST.
They won't have a lot of power so the power they do have is used on the short range comms relay hoping that a Imperial vessel will pick up the signal. I have also got them using spears as their blasters have been depleted of power.
The figures are from FFG SW Legion Scout trooper box set and I have replaced the helmets and arms with body parts from Airfix 1:48 RAAF ground crew.
The AT-ST is the old AMT kit and the tree's are from the local bushland.

"Hi All,
Deathtroopers, Battle of Scarif 28mm.
Recipe.
Troopers - are from Fantasy Flight Games and are the last three from the 6 pack set. I swapped over the arms on the trooper in the water and the trooper kneeling and they were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and Pastel chalks and I used a gloss finish on the armour.
Base - is foam board and the sand is a mix of fine sand and spakfilla and once dry it was painted using Vallejo's Vallejo's Iraqui Sand.
The larger bushes are from Woodland Scenics which is their light green foliage and the palm tree I got of ebay which I got 20 for $10 and the palm tree was painted using Vallejo Paints. The bush clumps I picked up from my local gaming shop and the grass tufts are from Army Painter.
The water is done using Woodland Scenics Realistic Water with two small drops of Vallejo's Light Blue added and mixed and then poured and left for 24hrs to dry.

I Know a SW dio WTF LOL.
I can't take the credit for painting the Death trooper white, I saw Herman Guerrero on the Bandai Star Wars FB paint his 1:12 Death trooper white a few years back and loved it so I did a 1:12 one as well. Once I had finished I needed a name for him so I called it a Ghost trooper and the name has stuck ever since.

Recipe.

Base - is a base from the SW Legion Scout trooper speeder bike set and the cliff face back section is foam and the front is a rock mould from Woodland Scenics, once the rock mould was secured I used spakfilla on both sides and blended it in with the mould.
The sand is a mix of fine sand and spakfilla and applied and once dry the base was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and Pastel chalks.

"Hi All,
On another dinosaur/Jurassic/World Park binge and this time I'm doing the gate from Jurassic Park in 1:18 scale.
The main gate structure is high density foam and will be covered and weathered as will the sign section, the words will be cut out and painted and added to some thin foam to give the depth.
The gates are made using foam board for the template and balsa wood has been applied over the time, I filled in the gaps and then it will be sanded and painted/weathered.

"Update on Rob Brown's AT-Hauler he's making with plastic sheets. He has taken the decals from my kit and very effectively used them as templates to literally raise the level of surface detail. Every angle of this is looking like an actual toy!
As far as I'm concerned, his is about to be the first "real toy" (plastic) version of the AT-Hauler that Hasbro never made!"

I saw the first trailer to JEDI: Fallen Order, yesterday - who else is excited?! Actually, I watched it over and over again! I couldn't care less for Epsiode IX, but THIS looks promising! If the gameplay will be as good as the graphic engine, this game will be awesome!
The trailer shows some interesting locations and characters. I'm most excited about these Dark Airborne Troopers, to which is referred to as Imperial Purge Troopers."

"Hi All,
Panther Ausf A - Refuelling
Tank/Figures - The Panther Ausf A is from Tamiya and it is kit #35065, even thou this is an older Panther kit it is still a great kit to build. The figure's are from Master Box and is kit #35160 and as you can see two are going to refuel and the others are just chin wagging.
Base - is thick foam board and the mud was done using a mix of spakfilla/sand/dirt with a little water and then I added Vallejo's Chocolate Brown and once the lot was mixed I applied it to the base and tank.
Once the mix was dry I then gave it a wash of Vallejo Chocolate Brown and Matt Black and once the wash dried I used Woodland Scenics Realistic Water with some Vallejo Beige Brown and applied it to the base to give the mud the wet look and puddles and the foliage is a mix of Army Painter grass tufts and Woodland Scenics fine leaf foliage.

"Haven’t gotten any further along. Have some pics showing how much this pioneer mustang body glows from the inside with just the little orange micros on. The brake and head lights will show even worse. I may have to paint the interior of the entire shell to fight it."

I can only imagine how popular Disney's new Star Wars Land is going to be for fans of all ages. It seems Disney is anticipating said crowds and is making plans to allow for bathroom breaks as you wait. It will be interesting to see how this develops as this park gets ready to open in CA in May and then later in FL in August.

"Hi All,
Started a new WW2 dio and I'm using the older Panther Ausf A from Tamiya and it is kit #35065, even thou this is an older Panther kit it is still a great kit to build.
I finally lost my air brush virginity LOL as I use to hand paint all the details on my kits and after using my mates air brush to do the larger camo pattern I'm so going to get myself one and the dots were hand painted on.
I still have a few things to add to the tank and do a little more weathering and it will be done.

"Order 66 survivor Jedi master Evad Grohl, A little story on this custom i found the body at my local flea market and it had no head or hands an i paid a dollar for it. Weeks later i bought a cassian andor for a dollar at my local dollar tree, i got home an started to build. I also think he resembles dave grohl from the foo fighters."

"Rob finished building the gantry and claw. I'm especially impressed to see how he has attached the claw to the main body of the Hauler. In his words:
"Got the Claw finished and mounted. I came up with a way to make it removable for painting purposes later. It locks in under a removable plate. Even used Hasbro/Kenner screws salvaged from something else."

"Bandai R4-I9 1/12: I'm calling him R4-NOGO as he is the Droid that always finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, hence all the spare parts added to him.
Still a WIP got gadgets, stickers and weathering to go, also thinking about adding more damage and wires. I have only glued the head and main two body halves to reduce seam lines.

"I came across an Ep. 8 concept picture of Kylo Ren and had wanted to make him for some time.
The head is from an Ep. 8 5 POA Kylo figure, with the hair removed. A fellow customizer suggested using crazy glue to Green Stuff to fill in the head. When the glue was still wet, I sprinkled baking soda to add texture for the scarred look."
I didn't know this concept existed. It is very Vader Like!

Hiya has slowly been working on an APC, that's finally beginning to trickle into the States (fingers crossed), as well as Predators. I LOVED what NECA did with their Predator Throne of Bones, but of course it's the wrong scale. Challenge accepted!"

"A couple of shots of the mounted RGB leds. After testing, I may change the rear ones out to light up more of the lense. Also, you see the test of one of the front fog mini lights mounted on the front of the chassis. This should light that fog lense perfect."

"This figure was a team effort to bring to life. Dad modified the head and body of the figure, while I sculpted on her collar and painted her face and vest. The body we used to make her was from the Star Wars "Dark Horse: Infinites" Action Figure Comic 2-Pack, with the "White Vader and Princess Leia (Sniper)"."
Trust me that is just the start of their description. They did a nice job creating her.
