Newsarama gives us a spolier for tonight!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, February 27 2009
Now this sounds like my kind of episode. I don't want to give too much away, but it sounds like a heavy dose of Ahsoka and some good space battles! Please read Newsarama's article if you want the full details. It looks like this will be episode 1 of a 3 part series that will end Season 1!
My type of Village!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, February 26 2009
If you are like me, you are used to Hawthorne Village making a series of Christmas villages. Well it seems they now have a license to make some pretty daggone neat Star Wars items including the Hoth base pictured above. While the price is not cheap (with the Lars Homestead already being offered at $60 dollars an issue), it does offer the Star Wars collector the chance to add a few highly detailed set pieces to the ole collection. Please let us know your thoughts on this line of collectibles in our fourms!
Clonehead reviews the new snap-tite Walker
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, February 23 2009
Well everyone knows I am a pushover when it comes to the AT-AT and I sure did appreciate Clonehead's review. According to our CH, in this walker we have our most proportioned one to date. His analysis and comparison with the Miniatures Walker provided excellent evidence to support his position. The only drawback I can see is now I have to find someplace that sells it!
Commander Fox ready for inspection!
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, February 22 2009
We have seen our Clonehead make some fantastic figures. Some of them have been quite extraordinary. Every one of them are grounds for induction in a Hasbro line up. However, this new LEGACY style Commander Fox is something you are just going to have to see to appreciate. The fabrication, artwork, and assembly on this figure show why our Clonehead is definitely a Master when it comes to the customization of action figures. Imperial Shipyards is sure appreciative of all the hard work CH!
Clonehead reviews the new Vos/Faie Comic Pack
-- Posted by Tamer on Saturday, February 21 2009
Clonehead has added yet another review: this time of the new Vos/Faie comic two pack based on the Dark Horse comic Republic #82. It would seem that both of these figures have a little room for improvement according to our resident expert. After reading his report and looking at his pictures I tend to agree. Thanks CH for yet again another rock solid review.
Does this look great or what!

Once again our Clonehead gives a rock solid review of the Entertainment Exclusive Republic Forces Mandalorians and Omega Squad. B'arin Apma is gonna take a little helmet pushing according to CH, but overall this is gonna be a set everyone needs for thier SW collections. Thanks for the update Clonehead!

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome James and his site's forum members to Imperial Shipyards. It will be nice to spread some comraderie among various Star Wars websites where sometimes we seem to be so competitively natured. Sometimes we need to just remember we are all in this together! Thanks in advance to the Shipyarders who make welcome Droidsandewoks.com.
Phatty adds Marvel to Hasbro Reviews!
-- Posted by Tamer on Friday, February 13 2009
I must say I am liking the new "Imperial Review" Section. Phatty has found some great new Marvel figures and has added reviews of the following; Wolverine, Daredevil, and Iron Man. That Wolverine is sure making me think about getting into another toy line! Thanks for the reviews Phatty!
We now have an Imperial Review Section!
-- Posted by Tamer on Thursday, February 12 2009
As you know by now Clonehead was on fire the past month. We liked his hasbro toy reviews so much we decided to give him his own section! He has added reviews for the following hasbro items; Obi-Wan Delta JSF, the Clone Wars Spider Droid, the Legacy Imperial Pilot Evolution Set, the Toys R Us Battlefront II Clone figure set, one of the Wal-Mart Force Unleashed three packs, and the 327th Star Corps Clone Trooper. His reviews show how knowledgeable he is about his chosen hobby and highlight strengths and weaknesses of the reviewed items. I wonder what our Clonehead will do next?
HASBRO reports a loss
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, February 11 2009
It probably comes as no surprise that with the recent economic downturn Hasbro too has seen a decrease in its' revenue compared to a year ago. Still, it seems like the company did pretty good compared to others of a similar genre. Read the full report if you like to break down your own numbers.
Wanna see how Fox should look?
-- Posted by Tamer on Tuesday, February 10 2009
I don't know what we are gonna do with our Clonehead. His latest project is a custom Commander Fox in the regular style. Needless to say we are all quite amazed with his progress so far and cannot wait for the final reveal. The detail he has painted on the chest is already amazing. I think we need to rename him Picasso!

Wanne see where the Jedi came from?
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, February 4 2009
I was doing my usual surfing and came across this awesome video of Star Wars The Old Republic which shows the game designers talking and showing game play of Tython, the ancient home of the very first force sensitive race. The video footage of this game is just top notch. Not leaving this site, I found another video "leak" of the upcoming Battlefront III game. While the video on this one was youtubeish, it looks great too.
Rodger shares an update on Cantina 4
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, February 4 2009
If you know Rodger of the New Sandcrawler Workshop you know how good his projects turn out. His latest work is on a new Cantina scene and it already looks great. Do you want to ask Rodger some questions or give some input into the future shape of this project? Don't forget, Rodger has a section all his own here at Imperial Shipyards.
Clonehead rates the new Obi-Wan JSF
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, February 2 2009
Care to see how the new two piece Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter compares to the other models? Our Clonehead breaks down this fighter in our new Toy Review thread. I really enjoyed seeing how the ToysRus hyperdrive ring fit into this new fighter. Thanks for the review Clint!
