George gets a Bah Humbug from British Courts
-- Posted by Tamer on Sunday, December 27 2009
Some of you may remmber the name Andrew Ainsworth as an original designer of SW Stormtrooper helmets and costumes. Long story short, he made and sold copies of this armor and a CA court ruled that Ainsworth owed George over $20 million in damages, but last week a British Court rules against him getting that settlement. It is unclear if Lucas will appeal the decision.

-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, December 23 2009
I must say this reminded me of the Clone Wars cartoon episode of Anakin eating all the bugs and just grossing out Obi-Wan. I guess the ration packs clones get must be pretty bad to eat this kind of indigenous fare.

Hasbro returns our answers!

Will we get some of the newer Clone Wars troopers and perhaps see some Legacy cross-overs? Will Hasbro consider letting fans sumbit a piece of fan made art or custom for possible Hasbro manufacture? Can UK collectors get any further explanation for why they cancelled the Legacy line there? That and a little Christmas greeting can all be found in our Hasbro Q and A thread!

Let's give a shipyarder a hand
-- Posted by Clonehead on Sunday, December 20 2009
Shipyard member DS-61-2 "Lee" had an accident on the job some time ago and has suffered some hard times as a result. Now, his medical bills have been stacking up and to help with the cost, he has been selling off his Star Wars stuff on ebay. His most recent auctions are some customs that were made by non other than the astromech god himself, Youtube icon Rasputin37 AKA Wraithnine. If you want to grab yourself one of Rasputin37's legendary astromechs and give a shipyarder a hand at the same time then follow this link to Lee's Wraithnine-made customs and get your bids in.
I know that I would love to own one of Jay's creations and I sure would like to help Lee out so, I've got a bid in on at least one of the auctions already.

I am getting nostalgic
-- Posted by Tamer on Monday, December 7 2009
Lets face it, there have been such great custom contributions to this Site this year that it is starting to blur. Wow, have there been some good ones, but this Custom Legacy Commander Fox made by our Clonehead I still feel just exemplifies customizing at its finest. His modified parts, attention to so many fine details, and the fact that he just made what he wanted from scratch just hits customizing on the mark as far as I am concerned. Daggone good work Clint.

The Section that you built!
-- Posted by Tamer on Wednesday, December 2 2009
We are proud to introduce our new Front Page Imperial Review Section as a part of our right column. Started by Clonehead, this section has really taken off and has inspired us to give it some dedicated spotlight. Thanks Clint for starting this great reference section. I would also like to thank Night Force Cynic and Commander Kurgan for thier great new offerings to this section as well. The great thing folks is that you too can see your review show up in this section. All you need to do is create a review thread and give us a good review with pics and you could be featured! I would also be remiss if I did not thank, yet again, Hangarbay94 for his great graphics contributions. Without him this wouldn't have gotten off the ground either. Thanks Jules.
