Sideshow Releases AOTC Obi-Wan 12"!

Sideshow has released another 12" figure in their Order of the Jedi series, and it's none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi from Attack of the Clones! Is this one going to be another must buy for your collection, or are you getting tired of seeing the same character done too many times...sound off in our forums.

I was doing my usual job of looking for some SW news and came across this little nugget from Star Wars Galaxies;
"The Battle of Echo Base is the newest heroic encounter in Star Wars Galaxies. Those sympathetic to the Rebel Alliance or Galactic Empire begin their journey to Hoth at the Adventurers' Guildhall in Aurilia. The Echo Base area features controllable vehicles for both sides of the conflict, as well as appearances by Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and R2-D2."
You can even bring home a Hoth snow machine to make snowballs to throw at the other characters!
I was also able to find more information from Market Watch.com.
THQ Wireless Releases Star Wars: The Clone Wars

THQ wireless has announced that if you have a java-enabled mobile phone handset you will be able to play a Clone Wars game that enables you to become a clonetrooper and lead your squad through a variety of 15 missions. I was able to find information from Games on Deck.com as well as Techgadgets.in for those who want to read more about this game. Too bad I don't have a souped up phone!

I was doing my regular Star Wars News Search and came across this RopeofSilicon.com Website that was covering a story of what the early Falcon looked like. The writer even went further to give us a gallery of Michael Heilemann that had some images of some of the early storyboards. This was just great to take a look at.

We here at the Shipyards just wanted to say our thanks and pay our respect to the Veterans on this special day. We do appreciate and thank you for putting yourself in harm's way. Most of the time we forget to say thank you for taking such a risk to keep our country "free". We have created a special thread where you can type in your own message to veterans paying them the respect that they have earned. Please also take the time today to remember our service men and women who are in foreign countries still protecting our feedom as well as remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country. Don't forget that tomorrow, November 11th, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be out on DVD and Blu-Ray DVD! The movie that kicked off the television series can now be yours to watch in your own home. There has been a lot of buzz, both positive and negative, about this movie, so the question is, will you or won't you? Tell us what you think here in our forums.

I know it sure has affected my spending, but was wondering if this rapid increase in prices of everyday goods was causing anyone else to change thier collecting habits? I for one am changing my focus as a result of seeing a regular figure price go for $10 dollars during a recent trip to a local department store. I just couldn't believe it. How has your collecting focus changed over the years? What is your current collecting philosophy? I would love to hear your report in our forums regarding this issue.
