Worth Playing.com has just unveiled some skippy on a new totally Wii based lightsaber duel video game. The article they have posted sure does make it sound like something worth checking out if you own that type of system. Its looks to me to be based on the new Clone Wars movie and TV show currently on Cartoon Network.
George is getting an award

The guy who created our obsession is getting ready to recieve an award for "Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery" in a February 2009 ceremony. The award is given to an individual whose "body of work in the film industry has richly enhanced the visual aspects of the moviegoing experience." It will be another award for the tropy case as I think we will all agree that George's movies definitely meet that criteria. Congrats George!

Well it looks like our Star Wars collection obsession, I mean habit, I mean hobby is paying off for Hasbro Inc in a big way. Reuters is reporting that sales went up over $1.3 billion! They credit Star Wars as being one of the main reasons for the success while other toy companies like Mattel Inc fell. They also cited that perhaps parents are staying home more now with the growing economic concerns and are buying a few more toy like items to keep the youngsters occupied. Maybe this mean Hasbro will give us a price break next quarter?

I was doing a little Star Wars searching and came across this amazing orgigami of Star Wars ships. Gizmodo.com also shows a few other interesting creations that have been made Star Wars wise. They also list a related site that details more pictures of the Stars Wars Ships seen above including a Falcon that is made out of just 3 three dollar bills.

Of course everyone knows how much I love this particular Imperial Trooper from The Empire Strikes Back, but I had to get this Gentle Giant Bust up on-site so the rest of you could pre-order yours like I just did. It looks like this is due to be released in March. The one thing you know about Entertainment Earth is that they guarantee mint condition, and this is a must have item for any TESB fan.

Well the wait for the Clone Wars Series is over as of 9PM Eastern this evening. Cartoon Network has a pretty nice site set up to premiere the new TV series where you can find video, games, a nice character guide, message boards, and even listen to some music.
