Loose Revoltech joints on eBay

(1/2) > >>

Sjefke:
Hey Yarders
I was surfing through eBay when I noticed sellers vmaont and happy2u88 .  They're  selling lots of loose joints of various colors.   The price doesn't seem unreasonable.
I can see a use for these when super-articulating 5POAs, repairing a broken joint or scratch building.

Face it guys.  Who has seen any cheap SA fodder out there lately?

Sounds like a way to save TFA Line to me Sjefke. Thanks for the links. I am off to share em.

I use these, there are also slightly better Figma joints on ebay from time to time, the only problem I have with revoltech is they are quite stiff, and need to be applied very well for any good use. Unless someone can come up with a way to loosen them, not sure how when they are the type of joints that go click, click, click when you move them. Have done some trial, and error, they broke out of the leg I applied them to many times. Found it's best to leave the joint completely in tact, drill, then glue them in place. Ultimately, I personally found them to be a waist of money (just my opinion, by all means give them a try) for cutting up an old figure for it's joints is a better deal, and yields superior results.

Thanks for the feedback on these joints.  I'd probably stick with old figures for the joints too, but there's just nothing out there anymore.  I had a hard enough time finding TBS that I wanted to keep intact.  I'm Chicken Little for SA3.75.  I'm just afraid the end is near.

I buy these, fully articulated ep. I Kenobi's under $2 a figure. Have gotten a lot of great use out of them, they have high potential, and with 14 POA they're great salvage. Also they turn up cheaper from time to time, so they could be an even better deal.
