As cool and awesome as your dio's are, Im always more amazed by the machines you able to come up with with scrap parts.

Ron, both new posts look great. Man you can sure paint small too. Off to share both updates. Sure wish my wife would get my bandai for my BDay!

Hi All,

Completed this R2D2 and R5D4, 2 in 1 dio this morning.

Recipe

Droids - are from Bandai and built staright out of the box and they were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks.

Bases - are done using balsa wood and the sand is a mix of spakfilla/sand/paint/PVA glue and then I roughly sanded the bases so that the mix would adhere.

Started this dio this morning and just need to weather the figure a little and do the water section where the right foot is. I will have the recipe when I complete the dio.
