Hi All,

WIP of the next 2 in 1 dio will be Stormtrooper's Jedha Patrol. The bases have been made using foam board, high denisty foam and balsa.

The first Jedha Trooper is from Bandai and built straight out of the box and the pauldron is from the Bandai Deathtrooper kit. The back pack was made using the Bandai Sandtrooper back pack. I removed the connectors from the harness and then made the cylinders using plastic tube.

The roll and haver sack were made using some old pieces of cloth and the straps are done using tape and the buckles are from some 1/35th scale resin container doors and the little antenna was made using some thin wire.

Ron

Come one make an AT-ST in an alley way. 6" would be awesome but the Bandai AT-ST would be cool too and easier

Hi All,

Little more work done on the Jedha Patrol dio. I covered the walls using a mix of spakfilla and sand and added a little paint to the mix as it is easier to piant.

The machinery were built using a plumber PVC pipe connection and a deodorant spary lid. The small pieces are from the Bandai sandtrooper back pack and the ends sections are from the left over connection sprue.

The other machinery is a asthma spray container with the muzzle of the T-21 light repeating blaster from the Bandai sandtrooper kit. The longer piece is barrels from the same sandtrooper kit.

Hi All,

I have done more to the Jedha Dio, I have I painted and also done some little weathering using Vallejo paints. The sand is a mix of spakfilla, sand and a small amount of paint.

I have also done the second trooper and he's back pack and just need to the paint and weather them and also the dios.

The back pack was made using plastic card, pieces of scrap model parts, BS 6" Farm boy Luke bino and parts from the Bandai Sandtrooper back packs.

Hi All,

New 2 in 1 Jedha Patrol dio completed.

Recipe

Troopers - are from Bandai and built straight out of the box and have the Bandai Death Trooper pauldrons added to them.

The orange pauldron trooper's back pack was made using a harness section from the Bandai Sandtrooper and the middle section was done using plastic card and plastic tube. The roll and haver sack are made using cloth and then straps are modelers tape and the buckles are some 1/35 resin pieces from a 40ft container.

The white pauldron trooper's pack was also made using the Bnadai Sandtrooper harness and then I used plastic card, 1/35 WW2 Sherman tank peice, BS 6" farm boy Luke's bino's, fly screen and other pieces from the Bandai Sandtrooper and Deathtrooper.

The bases were made using the stands that come with the figure kits and then balsa wood was used for the sides. The back walls were made using foam board and high density foam, I ripped off pieces of high density foam to simulate wear and tear and then used a pen to make the stones.

Once the stones were drawn I used spakilla for the walls and the sand. The machinery is some old plumber PVC pipe connection I had and a deodorant lid a asthma spray and parts form the Sandtrooper weapons.

Once everything was done the figures and base were weathered using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks.
