The dio for Phasma looks really good. Your landscapes/hardscapes looks so realistic!

Great job on the dragon, too:)

Hi All,

That was just right out after we got it out of the box Ron. If she had balanced the gal a bit better it would have walked fine, but thanks for the tips. She already has plans to make a dio out of it.

Anytime bro and I figured as much, I know when I get new toys I pull them out and look at them straight away. And look forward to seeing the dio when it's done.

Wow Ron!  Truly just amazing, the detail of the base is just astonishing mate.  It's something I hope to be able to master just as well in time.

Phasma also just looks awesome, I'm tempted to chrome up my 3 3/4 figure now.

Cheers buddy and I would love to see a 3-3/4" Phasma chromed let me know how you go. And I'll be doing a tutorial next week on how to make stone walls and paint them.

Hi All,

Started another commission the other day and has you can see it is a speeder dio. This dio will be different from usual as the will still be articulated so that the client can have the scout on or off the speeder. The speeder and figure were painted and weathered using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks.

The base is high density foam and the base layer is a mix of spakfilla/PVA glue and paint and the dead tree is from the local bushland.

Hi All,

While I'm waiting for the top soil of the speeder/scout dio to dry I decide to build the Bandai 1/144 X-wing original and put it on the Bandai 1/72 DS bases.

I will get better pics tomorrow.

Hi All,

The round work is nearly dry and all I used for this part was potty mix, I take a take-a-way container the rectangle type and pour the potty mix into the container and then spread the mix out on some layed out newspaper and leave it to dry out for 24 hrs.

Once the 24hrs is up the mix will be dry to the touch and then I pour it back into the conatiner and then use PVA glue/Woodglue and cover the base and pour the mix all over the base.

Let the glue dry for about 2 hours then remove all the excessmix and put it back into the container for next time. Let the base dry for another 2 hours then you can start the weathering of the ground work which will be next.
