This is a very entertaining build, Ron.  For me, it has everything.
- OTC theme.
- Painstaking attention to detail.
- Electric.
- You've also included a surprise.  I don't think you've ever revealed the mechanics/inner workings of one of you dios before.  Very well done.

If I ever try my hand at a Cantina diorama/playset, I'll definitely go to your images for reference.

... and if Greedo makes it into the scene, I'll trust that only Han's blaster will be smoking.  ;)

Thanks heaps Jeff and yeah I have showed the light on but never have shown the mechanics behind it. I'm still learning the lighting thing so it is pretty basic but I am learning and I will eventually have sound and lights on certain diorama's.

Glad you like my that much that you would use it as reference thanks mate and this is for a client but I will do a few shots before I send it of Han's blaster smoking.

Shawn thanks as always for the FP I really appreciate it mate.

Hi All,

It's all complete, I used fly screen for the floor interior and a mix of spakfilla and sand for the the exterior. The whole display was painted and weathered using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks.

Why, why did you do this to me? Here I was happy with my 6'' figure collection and then I see this! Now I'm going to have to build one for my collection. It won't be complete until I do. ;)

Seriously, great job. I appreciate the photos and will refer back to them if and when nI get a chance to make one.

Hi All,

Got a small break between commission work and decided to do a Endor chase scene using the Micro Machine Speeders that came with the AT-ST.

I started this at 8:30pm and just completed it so all up it took me 2 hours in total, here are a few quick pics and as always I will get my outdoor pic tomorrow and have the recipe as well.

Hi All,

Here are my usual out door pics. This was another fun little project which only took me 2 hrs all up to do.

Recipe

Speeders - Are the two that come with the AT-ST, I cut the front stabilizers off and replaced them with thin round plasti card rod and re-attached the fins. I also reapainted the speeders and figures with Vallejo and Gam Workshop paints.

Base - The trees are made from twigs from the garden and the leaves are railway bushes and Woodland Scenics trees. The bushes are from Woodland Scenics and Army Painter, I used a mix of spakfilla and dirt to build the ground work up before painting it and adding the undergrowth.

Hi All,

I took a four hour break tonight from doing some commission work and decided to make three small Hoth diorama's using some SW Micro Machines.

I will have my usual outdoor pics up in the next day or two.

Awesome!! You really make MicroMachines look great. That's pretty hard to do.
